“At last minute on labor day weekend we was searching lunch and dinner catering for our Wearhouse staff where we found this place on google. with in two hour they have provide lunch sandwiches, beverage & chips for our 175 afternoon staff and they also provide dinner for our 150 evening staff. all there sandwiches was made with fresh sliced meat and cheese and fresh veggies.....we definitely order again from this place....we thank them for taking care of us at last minute....thank you so much...“

“When my son came down with a high temp, awful sore throat, and queasy stomach, I remembered hearing about the congee at Fresh Bui. So I called on my way home from work and placed an order to pick up for him - without issue. On arrival, I realized that the shop had already closed, but the owner was inside waiting for me to pick up. So kind!! I thanked her and told her I was bringing the porridge to my sick son, and she insisted on making him a special herbal tea remedy. She was so wonderful, and the combo of the congee and tea definitely put my son on the road to recovery! I have also enjoyed their teas and smoothies from time to time, but this was an "above and beyond" experience. So thankful to have Fresh Bui right here in town!“

“Just wanted to give a shout out to A Better Me Juicery. Me and my 3 boys (7 month old not pictured) were having ourselves a chaotic morning by 9 am. We were waiting for the pharmacy to open when my 3 year old needed the potty, like immediately.

We ran around the corner and stumbled into a better me, which I have been wanting to try for a long time. I am a stay at home mom who is almost never without my kids in tow so I haven’t been brave enough to navigate downtown with all 3 boys alone just yet. However I am soooo glad I was forced into the situation because it brought us here.

My 2 year old had a hulk juice, my 3 year old wanted a “iron man” juice so the owner was kind enough to make him a superhero juice and add in some beets to make it red. They were stoked and very anxious to tell their cousins all about our superhero juice trip with the fun fruit pillows later in the day.

The owner was so friendly and down to earth. She related to the mom struggle and made me feel so welcomed when I was rather cranky. We are so lucky to have businesses like this right in the heart of town and my kids & I are excited to head back there in the near future!“

The owner made my drink a month or so ago & gave me the wrong bubbles I asked for regular and she ended up giving me brown sugar and said can I come back the next day she will give me a free one lol long story short she wasn’t there the next day because I bring my daughter to this location and she was too lazy to fix my drink the day she messed it up. I get she was overwhelmed by working alone and having a lot of people ordering but she has to do better as an OWNER! I have a business myself and it’s a lot of things I do not do because you have to be professional.“

I was greeted by a woman and man behind the counter who I presume to be the owners..they were quite friendly. I was looking for a smoothie place that opens before 7am and they opened at 6am. It's located on Bloomfield Ave in Newark, NJ and if you know the area, it's quite busy. Parking may be scarce. I ordered the coffee banana smoothie and it was tasty. It was approximately 32oz? And it was 10.00. They also have add ins such as protein, collagen, etc.This may seem pricey but healthy food will cost you. I wanted to try the crepes which also were 10.00 but I did not have time to wait. The smoothie was not too sweet which I liked. I would like to try their other flavors so I will definitely go back. My one issue is that a list of ingredients of the smoothies would be helpful, as well as what is used to sweeten the smoothies.“

“Great customer service! Smoothies are always delicious and pretty affordable. The food needs some work, though. I feel like the food is pricey and not worth the price. I got a panini sandwich for $11, and it was on regular bread, not even panini bread with 1 slice of meat. Something I could have made at home, which was a super disappointment. Oh, and parking is horrendous for all the companies in that area. So be careful you don't get a ticket when placing an order or picking up! They are super strict ! Overall, it's a dope spot that makes good smoothies.“
