“This joint was jumping on a Friday at 6:30. We would have been turned away without a reservation. The pork chop scarpariello, short ribs and filet were excellent entrees. This was a birthday celebration, which is why we went a bit high-end. This venue at this time of night might be a bit noisy for some , but no complaints here - just an excellent meal!“

“Bovine is the place to be in Jamesburg. We love their events nights like family feud, trivia, and live music because it's the kind of place you can sit down and feel welcome by the staff and people around you, especially at the bar and ESPECIALLY when the manager Kyle is on. I recommend this place wholeheartedly to everyone, whether they live near or far. If I had to recommend anything (I've been here a bunch) I'd say try out the Jamesburger and Oreodough milkshake. “We came here with a party of eight plus a 7 yr old child. The restaurant was clean and had something on the menu for everyone.The service was amazing. Jason was fantastic as well as the chef and his wife who's the co-owner.The food was flavorful and not over seasoned like what you'd find in chain restaurants. We ordered wings (extra crispy) for appetizers and we ended up ordering some to go-they were very good. “Went on a Sunday afternoon to watch some NFL Playoff football. Bartenders were fast/friendly, drinks were cold/served perfect, and food was good. There are TV's everywhere, so there really isn't a bad seat. Great atmosphere, friendly crowd, with a sports bar look and feel. Plenty of parking and bathrooms are spotless. When in town again, we will definitely stop in.“

We arrived an hour before our reservation and enjoyed some drinks at the bar. Speaking of, be prepared to stand in a rather small, crowded space. But drinks help you forget about that. I tried the grapefruit cocktail and they certainly didn't water that drink down. Next up, the main event! We started with the pork belly fries which were tasty and perfect for sharing. I got the burger with short rib which was delicious. The service was fairly quick and friendly; honestly I was shocked they didn't rush us out considering it was nearing closing time. I'd return to try more burgers but I'd prefer lunch or a weekday since parking here is very limited with barely any street parking in sight.“

“I have been going to Confect's for many years and can honestly say I have never been disappointed in my meals there, just have a difficult time deciding what I want to order because I enjoy so many different meals on their menu. Two of my children brought my mother and I there for Mother's Day and the appetizers and meals were delicious! If you have never eaten there I highly recommend giving them a try. I also want to extend kudos to our server, Melissa! She was awesome, very attentive (we didn't even have to ask for refills on our drinks) and very friendly. “Excellent experience. My wife and I went there as a belated Valentine's day treat for ourselves and did the 17 course tasting menu. We also sprung for the wine pairing. I think 16/17 dishes were excellent and there was only one that was "just ok". Wine pairing was excellent and pours were generous. My only advice would be to pace yourself, don't need to eat and drink everything! A little expensive but worth it for what you get.“

“In Princeton for a weekend visit with friends who moved here recently and they took us to their favorite spot! It did NOT disappoint! We ate so much food!! We had lychee martinis which were ok (too limey and not enough lychee) but the food was amazing so it made up for it! They had a little bit of everything! Or if your in a group and you all can't agree on what type of food to get, this is a good compromise: pizza, nachos, wings, sushi, burgers, salads, they literally had everything!!“

“This is my second visit to The Dinky Bar and Grill in Princeton which offers great views of the campus. We were going to see a play at McCarter and it is so convenient being across the street. The Dinky has an intimate vibe. Being the original Train Depot the feel of the place is still a train depot which I love. The menu is limited but certainly enough to choose from. There are shareable plates as well full entrees. Very good food and drinks. Our server Kayla was amazing. She needs to be recognized because she was extraordinary. “First time at Clyz since new ownership. Was a St. Patty's Day work celebration so no ordering from regular menu but rather a buffet setup with about 7 different dishes. Food was good. Service was great from waitress coming around for drink orders. They had orange whiskey for my fav orange whiskey mule! Main reason for not 5 stars is that the tables are small (so takes some shuffling of plates if in a group) and are so close you overhear the conversations of every table around you, and they hear yours. “This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. A short walk away from Princeton University and all of the shopping of downtown. The heated floors in the bathroom were a huge plus for this southerner. The beds were extremely comfortable, as well as the pillows. The continental breakfast was delicious, especially the blueberry muffins. While this is a boutique hotel, the prices are fairly reasonable. I would recommend staying here if you're in the area.Walkability: Located half a mile from Princeton University and downtown Princeton.Noteworthy details: Heated floors in the bathroom were a wonderful touch.“

My husband and I each ordered a side of fries and we definitely could have shared one -- huge amount. Wish the cashier would have let us know when we ordered.
