“The Fro Yo cafe in Matawan is my happy place. I love the decor and the nostalgic atmosphere. The frozen yogurt is delicious and authentic and the topping bar is always so clean and organized with lots of variety. I especially appreciate that the fresh fruit is consistently high quality. Their attention to detail with customer service is exemplary! It's the little things, like having a plastic rewards card instead of a paper one and the more premium cup and spoon option, that make Fro Yo Cafe such an enjoyable experience. The staff are really accommodating, helpful, and friendly! I recently went in when Sydney and Derek were working and they both made my experience so seamless and positive. Sydney goes the extra mile to assist customers and is clearly very competent at her job. It does not seem like any of these details should matter at a frozen yogurt cafe, but honestly coming to Fro Yo Cafe can be the highlight of my week sometimes. This place looks like a rest stop restaurant. It’s connected to a pizzeria and bakery i think.

But I will say……. I had the BEST cold brew here. So flavorful and had sugar free syrups!

I got the cold brew with oatmilk and sugar free vanilla syrup and I finished the whole thing!

I typically only drink half my coffee due to acid reflux but man, the woman who made my drink. THANK YOU.

I didn’t have high expectations or anything but I was curious. And it is fabuloussssss - the New Orleans cold brew! I had New Orleans cold brew in New Orleans and always try it black first. When I did it had a very licorice bitter taste. Rook advertised theirs as dark chocolatey and that is what it truly was. I could drink it black but then I added oat milk and it is divine. Love love love! Thank you Rook! Come to NYC 😘“

“I don’t know the employees name, but occasionally I run in with a last minute craving on my way to work @8:30pm. I know it’s towards the end of the night, but she is still always so pleasant and my food always made perfect and quickly. Tonight’s turkey sandwich was no exception. Too many times people just complain or take good service for granted, and I’d love to see see them get the recognition deserved. Some of us do appreciate it, especially when we’re running to work. “We had a really frustrating experience with our Panera order tonight — but I have to give HUGE credit to Victor, the manager at the Old Bridge location, for turning the whole thing around.
We had ordered dinner through the Panera app around 8 p.m., expecting it to arrive by 9. When it didn’t show up, we checked the store hours and realized they actually closed at 9 — which made us panic a little. We called the store and spoke to Victor, who was so kind and apologetic. He explained that the DoorDash driver never picked up our food and it had just been sitting there.
We were super disappointed — it was pouring rain, we were hungry, and it was getting late. But instead of brushing us off, Victor was patient and understanding. He offered a refund if the food didn’t make it, and after some back and forth, we decided to drive there ourselves to pick it up. Unfortunately, just as we got there, the Dasher had picked it up a minute before.
Victor, who was literally standing outside in the rain after his shift, was still so sweet. Even though none of this was his fault, he apologized over and over and offered us some leftover mac and cheese, bread, and other extras — and STILL refunded our meal. He handled everything with so much grace and kindness, even though he was clearly exhausted.
We were so upset when the night started, but thanks to Victor, we left feeling seen and taken care of. He honestly saved the night for us. People like him are rare. Thank you, Victor — you turned a really bad experience into one that reminded us how much a little kindness matters“

“My family and I have received excellent service at Noches de Colombia. We were attended by a very pleasant, attentive, and welcoming waiter named Andi. Every time we visit the restaurant, he makes us feel truly welcomed and comfortable.

Andi is always very understanding and helpful, providing us with many food options to choose from, as well as recommendations for something light to eat or even food to take home afterward. He is always smiling, asking how everyone is doing, and making sure we are having a great experience.

The food is always delicious, the atmosphere feels great, and the music creates a wonderful environment for families to enjoy. For all of these reasons, my family and I try to visit the restaurant once or twice a month.
