“Initially, I searched online for a place that served lobster roll and this place came up, but upon arriving there and browsing the menu, lobster roll was not listed, so perhaps it's only a special on occasion. This place was recommended from our AirBnb host, and the other menu options looked great, so we stayed and had lunch anyway. I enjoyed my Bar A's Brisket Sandwich, which on the menu mentioned came with horseradish sauce and au jus. However, when it came to the table, it did not come with those described condiments, so I had to ask our server for both, and received them quickly with no hassle.
We arrived around 11am and it seems this place has it's regulars. The one positioned directly by the entrance was very quick to offer the four women who walked in some cocktails on his tab. We politely declined the drink and we resumed the rest of our visit without any issues from the other guests. If you like that kind of familiar atmosphere, then I would say they seem open and friendly to anyone who is a visiting patron.
My friend ordered the sliders and said they were the best she's had in her life.

“On an ordinary day, we go here for beers and a burger with cottage fries and always have the best time. I have to mention this weekend specifically though because we had our wedding after party here. The owner, Kevin, is truly one of the nicest people and always provides service with a genuine smile. He is courteous and made all of our family and friends feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our evening. Even in the busiest moments, Kevin and staff managed to be accommodating and attentive. Cannot say enough enough about this place, the family and the staff. Wonderful!“

“We had gone to Woodys for years and recently started visiting more frequently. Really enjoy the atmosphere and the food is good. The holiday decor is a whole vibe—the owners and staff really went all out to provide a warm, inviting experience for their customers. We are always greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. I always enjoy the time spent at Woodys, whether with friends or family. The seating options are many as the heated outdoor area is available all year long. “When reviewing their menu, we saw Birria Tacos and were immediately committed. Upon arrival we were a little alarmed that there was nobody in the restaurant! There are 2 other attached venues by same owners which had customers. But the lack of patrons was a bit of a red flag.

Our service started out with our server, Austin, telling us the drinks we wanted from the on-line menu were no longer available. But they tried to make a smoked cocktail for us first and realized they were out of smoker chips. Our large party of 8 mostly ordered Margaritas, which were decent and discounted on Tuesdays.

We ordered food including Nachos, Quacamole, Quesabirria and Birria tacos, as well as fish tacos and al pastor. The food was fresh and excellent!

We had a visit from an owner/manager as well as the chef. The staff helped us get the Phillies game on the table-side TV.

Overall, the highlight of the night was definitely the Birria, whose consommé was rich, flavorful and not greasy like some. Also the cheese level on the tacos was perfect, the meat was tender and flavorful and the fresh cilantro really made it all pop.

The second best feature of our visit was definitely the service.

My phone battery died before I could get pics of food, but the space is cool.

Highly recommend.

“we've been going to 709 for many years, and go there quite often . service is always good, but the food has been hit or miss for the past year. they closed down and reevaluated their menu and staff. the new staff is excellent, as was the old. we have decided to continue to support 709 during their transition. Saturday's dinner was just not prepared to my liking. my fillet was medium well, when i asked for medium rare. the server was excellent, and tried everything to accomodate my requests. no fault of her own. but, the chefs should pay better attention to what they are cooking. the sushi chefs also need to check the freshness of the fish they are serving. the usually "red" tuna was gray. we tried a piece each, and decided not to eat it, and it was then off our bill. 709 was "the" place to grab a great meal.... look at my other reviews. not too sure anymore.“

I guess it would be good bar food, but the fries weren't seasoned, so it was good with the sauce they put on, but when we got fries with the sandwich, the plain fries were unseasoned. Group was so loud and obnoxious all the tables around them couldn’t even enjoy their meals. I had not ordered anything so I don’t know about this. I was just there with them on last minute and I was full already.

Ambience :-
It was so amazing. The water view makes it more beautiful. Also there was live singing by the band, if you like it. And they played national song at time of sunset.

Restrooms :-
It was quite clean. Only thing is they’ve sensor light and it might turn off while you’re inside. So careful of that.

Our server was so nice with us and made sure we’re attended whenever we need to make any order. She was very helpful and nice.

Tips :-
It’s more beautiful if you go 1 hour before sunset. You can also take amazing pictures and videos there.

Parking: I was told they’ve both - free and paid parking. But we parked on paid. They charged around $2.5 per hour (don’t remember the exact amount)“
