“The owner is awesome and the guy in the back making sandwiches is truly gifted. I worked around the corner for a couple weeks and didn’t go anywhere else for lunch, absolutely phenomenal. Pizza, sandwiches, burgers, whatever you get is good. Family man as well, could sit down and talk to him for a half hour if I had the time. And he made me espresso after I got to know him. 10/10“

“16 of us for a moms night out. They set us up in the private room so our cackling wouldn’t disturb the other nice folks LOL. Our server was so nice and attentive and the food was delicious. For appetizers we had focaccia, stuffed mushrooms, antipasto, rice balls with side of sauce. For dinner we had sausage and peppers, chicken francese, penne vodka, cavatelli with broccoli, roasted potatoes with balsamic drizzle. Would definitely recommend Capricci for a private party.“

“If you are in the Toms River area this is a hidden gem. Real NYC style pie! Food is great and very authentic Italian feel especially the dinners. Pictures of Venice posted all over which is a nice touch. The dinning area has arches and beautiful photos of famous actors and famous Italian stars. In fact the owner is Italian and born in Italy. Apparently the owner Vinnie was the original owner of Cafe' Napoli in Shoprite Plaza in Manchester & La Gondola in Lakehurst making pies for over 20 years! In fusing years of experience "That's Amore'' is his best version of a Pizza Trattoria Italiana. Every time, you come in the owner Vinnie is so welcoming and such a nice guy! Always asking you how you are? Or how's the family? Did I mention Vennie is straight Italy? You can always here Italian spoken here. My Phil brother worked as a delivery driver a few years ago during college and said its like a family when working there. Your always welcomed back. All the staff is super nice never had a problem in the going there for more then a 2 and a half years now. Not an overly expensive place and not cheap food at all. Great to book for the holidays like Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, New Years, or a personal occasion you wont be disappointed. Even if they make a mistake, they are always pretty good & willing to make it correct for you. Usually giving you a free pie or order, if they mess it up. Great Quality pies! Give them try!“

I called just to let them know and with no hesitation they offered to make me a new sandwich. I wasn’t able to go back yesterday because of the time but they honored it today. I am so grateful and my sandwich is delicious. Friendly staff and great food. Definitely recommend!“

“I ordered the fettucine alfredo which was at once creamy, buttery and silken. The sauce was not cheesy-thick as some alfredos are, but light and yet rich in taste. Someone at another table ordered French toast, and boy did that smell good.And the other dishes other people were getting also looked delicious. Average pizza for average kosher prices in Lakewood. Sandwiches and salads are also available. There is nothing about this place that stands out (for good or for bad). The area is heavily commercial so parking can be tricky as well as commuting during busy hours.“
