My boyfriend and I we the only ones there for a 7pm seating (Tuesday after Thanksgiving) so we got a complete one-on-one meal with chef Carmen and head chef Sean. It was so interesting learning about where each fish came from, each piece's preparation, and so much more! I'm glad I got such an intimate experience the first time, and look forward to going again with a group to get the full omakase, dinner-party-esque kind of atmosphere. “Placed a rather large order today. Appetizers, a few rolls and a few ramen dishes, All very good! Presentation was great and roll sizes are large for the price. Great taste and great value especially compared to the other sushi options near by. Impressively, the food was ready for pick up in 15-20 minutes and I was greeted by a very nice lady who took care in packing the food and made sure we had everything needed for our large order. Definitely happy I chose to try this place today. Will be back.“

“Food is good. We ordered 2 different sushi and chicken katsu. One of the sushi was served raw (as most sushi are) and I can't eat them cause I am BF-ing my baby. We told the staff and they cooked them for us. Good food and descent price. The atmosphere is good and quiet for a date night with my husband.“

“Solid choice for hibachi and sushi. Food is seasoned well and not over powered with garlic or soy. We also enjoy that you get rice and noodles. Meat is always cooked well nothing was over cooked. The portions are a little on the smaller size however you do soup, salad, rice, veggies and noodles with your meat so it does make sense given all you get. Prices are also good for everything you are given.“

“Speaking from a native point of view, UJ is probably as close to authentic tasting (cooking techniques, sauces etc) for Chinese American cuisine. Currently it is my go to for Chinese food in the area...food is cooked well, not too heavy, high quality ingredients, lots of attention to detail in their dishes. Just comparing the fried rice that comes with the combos, you'll find it superior to any other Chinese restaurants' equivalent in their combos. I've only ordered take out, but they do have a dining room. The service has always been prompt and friendly with lots of staff working. The other huge plus is that it's probably the only restaurant in the area that closes the latest.“

“Despite growing up in Little Silver and passing Kissui for almost two decades, I recently decided to try it for the first time. While the interior is somewhat lackluster, the food itself was a treat. The clear soup and gyoza were incredible, and the sushi rolls were fresh and prepared well. Furthermore, the prices were reasonable, which is extremely refreshing during this administration. The restaurant was completely empty during dinner, though, which was somewhat sad to see. On the heels of the disappointing change of ownership at Little Szechuan "GoGo" (still cannot believe that is the name) - this may be my new standby for oriental cuisine in Little Silver.“

“Great food and prices. Only problem place had 2 tables with 2 people and I asked if we could sit closer to window. Place was dark. I am 85 and needed light. Man said no. Tables were reserved. Ok .nobody came at tables by window for 1/2 hour. Except 2 people. Bad customer service. Sorry.“

“I was desperately craving sushi. I had not been to a restaurant for months so i wanted to treat myself. I found Maza and went into order. Never having been there and not knowing what to expect…i wish all testaurants and people were as nice as Maza’s employees. They helped me find rolls that were gluten free, they showed me all the ingredients they planned on using to confirm they were gluten free. I asked for two rolls to go, one salmon and one tuna, for a friend. When the two rolls came out both the chef and the cashier reminded me i stated salmon and tuna, both rolls to go came out with salmon on top and they offered to switch the salmon on top of one of the rolls to tuna at no extra charge, when i went to pay i noticed a cash jar for tips, i apologized for not having cash to tip and the cashier sincerely said dont worry about it. If you are sick of dealing with entitled restaurant employees who demand tips just for looking at them, then this is the place for you. The sushi was as fresh and delicious as the employees were sweet and kind and respectful. Thank you HaShem for Maza!!!!

“In town for an event, 8 of us went out for dinner. Everything was so delicious, the 3 of us still in town the next day went back the next night for round two.I personally enjoyed the Red Curry Chicken and Beef Pad Thai. Especially of note is their General Tso's Chicken which was ordered both nights, as it is mostly chicken, not cheap breading like a lot of other places. The Shrimp Shumi were also reordered on day two. The prices were completely reasonable as well. I would 100% return to this restaurant for round three.

Parking: Parking was easy as not a lot of people were there when we were, however I could see it getting crowded when busy.

“Osaka is a classic! I recommend really any of the hand rolls, but my favorites are the spider roll, sweet potato roll, any of the vegetarian rolls, the eel roll is good too! The edamame is a must on the side, and their lo mein + fried rice is really good too. “We absolutely adore the food at Eastern Sushi. Ever since moving to this area two years ago - Eastern Sushi has been a go to for us. The staff is super nice and the price is great for the quality of food you get. We have gotten food from Eastern Sushi with family from out of town and when they visited again - they asked if we could get food from Eastern Sushi again. The food is that good!“
