The dining room is smallish but quiet for a busy bustling room service was excellent the evening we went. The waitress couldn't have been any nicer and was quite knowledgeable about the menu. We sat at the sushi bar. I had a wonton soup that was a special and it was definitely the best wonton soup I've ever had in my life. We didn't have any of the sushi this time, but next time I will definitely try it. The kitchen looked super clean and organized from my point of view. The only thing that was not five stars was the lack of parking.“

RB has a plethora of fantastic higher end restaurants but we were looking for quality at a good price and… we found it at Oriental Empire. Fusion offerings were pretty standard but the taste was amazing. Ordering the Pad See Ew and it was delicious, as good as I’ve had. Service was impeccable and a very relaxed atmosphere. So much variety! Sushi, poke bowls, burgers, meat pizzas (pulled beef is the best!), salmon platters, vegetarian options, impossible burgers, etc, etc.
Great service too!
The interior can use an update but, otherwise, a great experience in every respect and for every age!
Last but not least, this restaurant is not overpriced like every other kosher option nearby.

“We have been ordering take-out from Rainbow for two years. The sushi is consistently fresh, service is excellent and delivery is quick. Today we ordered steak hibachi for the first time; it was delicious. Even our son who is a picky eater cleaned his plate!“

“Sono has always been our go to for delicious fresh sushi. Tonight there was a delay with our pick up....it's lent. We get it - they even gave us 2 free sodas to apologize. Then 2 hours later they send us an apology text. Honesty and apologetic. Now that's a classy move!“

“In town for an event, 8 of us went out for dinner. Everything was so delicious, the 3 of us still in town the next day went back the next night for round two.I personally enjoyed the Red Curry Chicken and Beef Pad Thai. Especially of note is their General Tso's Chicken which was ordered both nights, as it is mostly chicken, not cheap breading like a lot of other places. The Shrimp Shumi were also reordered on day two. The prices were completely reasonable as well. I would 100% return to this restaurant for round three.

Parking: Parking was easy as not a lot of people were there when we were, however I could see it getting crowded when busy.

“Food is very different from the original place Mahzu which is to be expected as it is a different place. Here at Kobe, the hibachi is over sauced and salty and the shrimp and filet mignon is not good quality. The tempura rolls are over fried. The fried rice and noodles are bland and are cooked with way too much margarine or lard as they call it which is a bit greasy and bland. Bring back Mazhu cooks! Nicely decorated. Staff is attentive and friendly.“

“My husband and I stopped at Eastern Sushi on our way back to the city from Atlantic City—and wow, we were seriously impressed. I had the Golden Salmon Roll (swapped the tobiko for masago) and it was super fresh with really high-quality fish. My husband got the hibachi scallops, which came out piping hot and perfectly cooked. Honestly, the food here is better than some spots we’ve tried in Manhattan. The restaurant itself isn’t fancy, but it’s very clean and the service was great. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!“

“We went on a Friday evening to try this Chinese restaurant. Overall a good experience.
1. We had Wonton soup. This was very good. Instead of the normal thick Wonton wrapper with just a little bit of pork, this soup had 4 dumplings that had a good amount of pork inside a thin rice wrapper. The broth was nice too.
2. Also had the Hot and Sour Soup. It was just okay. Could have been a little more spicy and had more ingredients.
3. The eggroll was good, especially for the price. They give you 2 large rolls for $4. Would have just need 1.
4. I had the Schezwan Duck. It was very good. Maybe it could have had a bit more sauce and be more spicy.
5. My spouse had General Tso's Chicken. Very good.
6. Service was very good. The waiter was very attentive.
So I will come back here. Just need to ask for more spice next time.“

I used to frequently go to MIZU-Long Branch for AYCE before and after COVID, but the experience declined—rude service from the start when you walk in and food that was bland or overly frozen - others I included would speak on the same topic.
