Halal Restaurants near Linden, NJ

“Excellent service and delicious food! I placed a very large order, and everything was extremely organized, prepared quickly, and cooked perfectly. The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. I really appreciate how efficient and professional the staff was, especially with such a big order. Highly recommended. Definitely ordering again!“

“One of the best halal spots in NJ“

“Omg it's been so long i haven't been here, but their pizza is the best and the all the foods that he has it's delicious especially the salads. I will recommend anybody to come here and sit down and eat a delicious pizza🍕🤗😉☺️“

“Amazing and tasty food!! Great service and great prices! High quality meats and chicken, all halal, with proper certificates!“

“I’ve ordered a few times all great experiences. Today I ordered in store at the kiosk and picked up, got home and although i got two combos (lamb k jerk chicken) upon eating the first few bites I realized both were only jerk chicken. I called however their voicemail isn’t set up. I wish someone could call me back and offer some kind of assistance/ discount 😩

UPDATE: The customer service team reached out to me immediately after my original review, apologized for the mix-up, and offered to make things right by replacing our two combo platters.

I stopped by Saturday night and showed the staff the email. They immediately knew what I was referring to, apologized again for the previous experience, and took care of my order with no hassle or confusion. My food came out quickly, the customer service was great, and the food quality was great as usual!

I really appreciate how quickly they responded to my concerns and that the same level of care carried over when I returned to the restaurant. Mistakes happen, but how a business responds matters. They addressed the issue immediately, made the resolution easy, and followed through on exactly what they promised. Definitely appreciated!“

“Really enjoyed the food at Gigi Halal Food! The falafel over rice was fresh, flavorful, and filling, and the burger was juicy and delicious. The portions were generous, everything tasted fresh, and the service was great too. Definitely a good spot for tasty halal food. Would happily come back again!“

“Amazing food and great service . Authentic Pakistani taste . I ordered shami Anda burger and it was amazing . Would love to go back again .“

“chicken over rice is usually what i get when i go here, it comes with a drink on the side. the food is so good i personally think it’s the best chicken over rice spot from all the other places and food trucks i’ve eaten at. the workers there are super friendly and nice! thank you 😊“

“Food is fresh & tasty. Staff are very nice too.“

“outstanding! the best there is on Staten Island! I've been eating his food fir years!“

“Come here right now. Got the Loaded Falafel Fries ( vegan ) and oh my god my parter and I demolished it. The falafel were so fresh and flavourful and are made IN HOUSE along with the hummus’ - I loved the avocado hummus, my partner loved the spicy hummus. Both delicious. Perfect fries. Can’t go wrong. Also the lovely man who served us, sorry I didn’t get your name friend - so kind and patient. Thank you“

“Stopped by and tried the fish gyro and the chopped cheese. The chopped cheese was okay—I’ve definitely had better elsewhere. The fish gyro was good and fresh, but not quite the best I’ve had either.

The service was fast, friendly, and welcoming, which I really appreciated. The restaurant was also very clean, and everything looked well organized.

Overall, it was a good experience. I’d come back to try some of the other items on the menu.“

“I have been coming here since they opened and they have never disappointed. I love their new chicken tenders they are so juicy and crispy. Love them. My family’s favorite spot to eat out at. I recommend the crispy chicken platter 😋“

“We stopped by for dinner. Everything was fantastic! The owner is so nice and sweet. Grilled chicken is super!! Homemade sauce are so delicious. One of the best restaurant in Springfield! Recommended! 👏👏“

“This spot was amazing for family sized trays. We got the half tray chicken and lamb combo + half tray of rice. This was the most meat ive gotten at a halal place and the half tray was more than enough for 9 people as we had leftovers. I highly recommend these trays for huge gahrerings, they accommodated within 30 minutes.“

“I frequent the Union location for lunch, and it’s always a great experience! My favorite is the falafel gyro—it’s delicious and never disappoints. I also love the chicken and lamb platters, which are always fresh and flavorful. The young ladies who work there are always so friendly and welcoming, and the customer service is excellent. Great food, great portions, and great service! I’ll definitely keep coming back.“

“I got the sliders and tenders, and they were cooked to absolute perfection—juicy on the inside, perfectly crispy on the outside, and packed with flavor. The spice levels are incredibly accurate, and that Dave's sauce is pure gold. On top of the amazing food, the service was fast and the staff was super friendly.“

“Food was great. Sweet potato fries were my favorite the corn was just basic corn but still delicious the chicken looks dry but trust me it was not it was very moist and I put the sauce on side just in case I didn’t like it but it was a great sauce … friendly staff. All around clean will be back to try something else“

“Hempstead location is the best halal on Long Island!“

“Really enjoyed the falafel platter. The falafel was crispy and flavorful without being too dry, and the hummus and other sides complemented it really well. The portion was also pretty good, so I definitely left satisfied. Overall, a really solid vegetarian meal and something I’d happily order again.“

“Amazing food and great service! Halal Boyz is definitely one of the best spots in Woodbridge. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. Their Rice platers wings, fries, samosas, and special smash burgers are especially worth trying. Friendly staff, clean atmosphere, and great value. Highly recommended!“

“I luv it I would recommend Juicys💕💕💕“

“Great service, friendly staff AMAZING food.“

“Best Halal Food Truck! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The portions were generous, the meat was perfectly seasoned, and everything was served hot and fresh. Great service and great prices too. Definitely one of the best halal food trucks around. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Humble seems to be the best word to summarize this restaurant. The men who run it seem to have a great rapport with their customers; they’ve been there for 20+ years and it shows. They were kind and accomodating. The food was plated carefully and was pretty taste. My only complaints were putting margarine on my pancakes without asking and the tiny plastic utensils, which left my hands covered in syrup. However both of those go to the restaurant being unpretentious. There’s no atmoshere to speak of but it was clean. I’d eat here again but probably wouldn’t go out of my way.“

“Lovely auntie makes the best samosa chaat I’ve ever had! Literally so mouthwatering“

“My breakfast was great this morning.“

“My new favorite spot for the best sandwiches hands down in staten island. The pastrami was perfectly done and bread made it even better . So was the chopped cheese .oh and don't get me started on the fries omg .. nice and crispy hot and no oil residue whatsoever.. keep up the good work guys . Service was a plus btw“

“I was very impressed by how clean and fast-paced the environment is, and I appreciated not having to wait long to receive my order. Additionally, the food was absolutely delicious and very affordable, which is especially appreciated during these times.

Thank you for providing such great food and excellent service.“

“Great place but your store and a few around you constantly have bums breaking into your bathroom putting guide wires down the drains and all, ripping up the PNC bank right next to you and triggering the bank alarm to harass buildings with older static based alarms all around, this is related to building 55 and a very noisy storm drain at Manor drive and Norman road, thisnis an undergroubd T section that a used in combination with deep earth scamning 2854hz to find gold and silver s r wash that along with a MISSING PHENTYYLIN PACKAGE 4 YEARS AGO.to capture it in these tunnels and other nasty things. Friday 10 am the fun started from. Your store on the 26th and you and your family is most likely being targeted. Don't forget o ly speak with officers in person and when they can presentan id.“

“I ordered Chicken Biryani and Chicken Kabab through Uber Eats. After I ordered , I realized that I forgot to order Nan. So I called the restaurant and ask them that what can I do now. The person(probably the owner) replied , I will add Nan and whenever you visit, give me 2 Dollars. That was really a nice gesture which I will remember and must appreciate(along with the debt on me).
Talking about food, I had eaten many Biryanis in USA but it is one of the best real Pakistani biryani. Kababs were also fresh and tasty. I highly recommend those who want to have Halal and real Pakistani taste, must visit.“

“Love it hot and spicy nice“

“Drinks so fresh“

“I came here specifically for the HalwaPuri this morning, and it absolutely did not disappoint! There is nothing like a traditional breakfast to start the day right. The Puri was perfectly fluffy, light, and not too oily—just the way it should be.
The star of the show for me was the balance between the sweet and savory.

The Halwa had the perfect level of sweetness and a great texture, while the ChanaMasala (chickpea curry) and the potato bhaji had that authentic, spicy kick that makes #DesiFood so addictive. Mixing the sweet halwa with the spicy gravy on a piece of hot puri is a total #Foodie dream!“

“This is one of the best chicken PLACES I ever been to and I've been in many, great chicken, very clean, employee's are awesome, and they handle your FOOD in a very sanitized way, one other thing they do it right in front of you, and there pizza is also good all around it's a great place to get your FOOD, I guarantee it, 110%,plus tax“

“This place is a gem!! a must eat!! We found it through Uber Eats and ordered 1x. It was so good. The portions were amazing. Portions are like something grandma would serve her hungry kids. We visited and now I frequent it almost daily! Homefries platter is not for the faint of heart. You've got to have a hearty appetite or share it out. Grits platter...well...something of a southern treasure! Beef bacon egg and cheese sandwich is always a perfect on the run, goodie! We tried the shrimp over rice and that was nice. Chicken over rice was even better as it had a slight kick to it. And again, no matter what you order, bring a healthy appetite cause you're gonna need it and a long nap, after! These guys are amazing!! Truly! They're sweet! They're efficient! They can throw down on that gril!! Yummmmm Oh...and if you've never had it, their lemon ginger drink is amazeballs!! This place really is a gem in the middle of a jungle 😆 Visit them and be kind! Far too many ppl are not kind or feel entitled to speak to them ill mannered. Please don't! These guys really are good people and their food speaks for itself. Thank you gentlemen for always providing the best!!“

“I usually stop by for food when running to work, seeing that it's closer than the other location in Newark. Judging between both locations, the taste here in Hillside is very different along with the menu! More menu items, better taste, cozier venue plus great service! My reasons for giving this specific location 5 STARS although I requested for Juice options instead of all Soda/Water upon my last visit. Excellent for a quick grab and dash or dine-in!“

“The food was delicious, I did not know what I wanted so I ask the girl what she suggested. It was a amazing the chicken was so good . I like healthy food . I will definitely be going back can’t wait to try The gyros“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Absolutely amazing! Halal Connection food truck delivers top-notch, flavorful dishes that keep me coming back for more. The lamb and chicken over rice is perfectly seasoned, tender, and generous in portion size. Their pita wraps are packed with fresh ingredients and the perfect blend of spices. The service is always fast and friendly, with staff who genuinely care about the quality of their food and their customers’ satisfaction. Plus, it’s in a great location in Park Place, Newark, making it the perfect spot to grab a delicious meal while enjoying the surroundings. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a hearty meal, Halal Connection is a must-visit. Highly recommended!“

“Absolutely the best food in Staten Island!

Graffitery’s street cart is on a whole other level. The food is always fresh, full of flavor, and made with real attention to quality. You can taste the love in every bite. The staff is friendly, the service is fast, and the vibes are great.

Whether it’s your first time or your tenth, Graffitery never disappoints. Hands down the best street food in Staten Island—don’t miss it!“

“Peri Peri Chicken is one of my favorite spots! Their Lemon & Herb and Mild chicken are both absolutely delicious perfectly seasoned, juicy, and full of flavor without being overwhelming.
