“You have to try the ranch fries they come with potato wedges but no get them with regular fries. To much potato with the wedges and takes the other flavors away with just potato. Food is amazing especially the scallops wrapped in bacon, and the seafood bisque. Been coming here for years and will continue with many more years.“

Despite being shorthanded and extremely busy, the staff, service and food that day were incredible. “What a hidden gem!! Breakfast and lunch only, but quite an array of choices (4 types of Eggs Benedict to Lobster Roll, salads platters, pancakes, etc.). You will not leave hungry. Portions are plentiful. If you are having 6 or more people on a weekend or holiday,, make sure to reserve a table or you will be waiting. Also a small bar. Outdoor dining and drinks in season. This is now the new go-to place for family gatherings. Dock side service for boats, too.“

“Definitely one of the top restaurants in Manahawkin/LBI area. My pasta dish was amazing, and service was great. Only downside to this place is it’s not huge and they don’t take reservations. We lucked out and got a front parking spot and table fairly quick. They also have a cool little outside area with a drink truck and a fire pit. This makes the waiting part a lot more bearable (keep in mind we only waited about 15-20 mins anyway). Overall, great experience. Certainly a spot you should try this summer if you’ve never been.“
“We ran in on a whim and were greeted with a warm welcome. We ordered a bunch of small plates and they were all delicious- the artichoke were cooked in a lovely sauce, the calamari were fried in a light, spicy sauce and the grilled shrimp had a terrific dipping sauce as well. I had just spent almost 48 hours straight on the craps table in Atlantic City, quickly losing $10,000, which is very difficult , considering I only make $22,000 a year.It sat in a very bizarre little old township, like a Disney world type place. This fairly priced, $21 a lobster roll, spot gives you a healthy serving of lobster both claws and tails on a perfectly toasted buttery roll. They have Maine, CT and Mass choices. They created a new category called Rillaioli, a lobster roll with varying state themed offerings. Check out the Texas.The lobster Mac and cheese was creamy, and didn't skimp on the lobster portion.“
“Andrew T at my applebees was the best server/busboy I've ever had, he was kind and charismatic. He donated my mother a kidney for a lifesaving kidney transplant! He also saved my dog from a fire he also allowed to expand my relationship with christ he made an amazing experience of dining at an applebees.“
“This place is a total gem of south Jersey. Been here for my birthday and came back for brunch the same week. If you are into seafood and love cozy bars this is the place to go. They have raw oyster bar but also there are a lot of cooked options. Their jersey deviled eggs and crab cakes are to die for but all the other options are pretty amazing as well. That being said, parking and seating might be limited during peak hours.“

“Tuckerton location: Really good staff, food prepared well and served hot, and good drinks. Only food complaint is the deserts are just barely ok. Store bought cakes, pre cut and stored on plates are ready to go, but lacked any freshness. No whipped cream or imagination, thereafter. Cheesecake remined of Jello cheesecake and was just soggy. Edible but not incredible and no one at the table finished theirs. As for a lower rating for atmosphere, there are just alot of tables on that floorspace. You hit them as soon as you walk in. So when it gets packed, which is a good thing for the Pub, forget about atmosphere, unless the crowd is rooting for local teams. But, still a good place to eat, drink, and gather.“

“What an amazing find. Went for take out before the Friday Fire Pit in Brant Beach. Our family ordered 2 “seasonal Salads” and one Asian mango salads. Wow, homemade dressing, the freshest of ingredients, and at a cost of $5. Less than anywhere on the island. We also ordered the amazing French fries and their house special grilled cheese with a slice of tomato. Yum and yum. Again at a bargain price. The staff and owner could not have been more accommodating. They could not do enough for us while we waited offering us water and a bench. Everyone was smiling, singing and so happy.
