“We stopped here after a long day of travel for a local wedding, and it was the perfect find. Our waitress was exceptional, she shared great recommendations, explained how her favorite dishes were prepared, and went out of her way to get us an updated beer list. She checked on us frequently and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and satisfying, and the atmosphere was fantastic. It has a great local feel with a super friendly crowd. “My wife , grandson and myself went to the Grapevine tonight for the first time. Our waitress was Michelle and she couldn't have been any nicer ! Be ordered appetizers, wings , mozzarella sticks , etc. The food was delicious and Michelle checked on us multiple times and made our first time visit there extremely enjoyable ! “Highly recommend, 10/10!! beautiful spot on the docks, great opportunity to see lots of boats. it was empty when we showed up (very early season, chilly march day) which was so peaceful. food is delicious, the patty melt blew my mind, my grandmas club looked like a stock photo, fries are perfect, no salt/condiments needed, and the bucket drinks are worth it!! Bartender guy(?) that served us was cute, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. thanks for having us!! 😊“

“My whole work staff in Philly loves the Key Lime Pie. I decided to drive to HSB and pick one up for the work week. While there I had some great food( the Warfield chicken sandwich, great bay fries, and strawberry milk shake) yummy. The service is always great too. Highly recommend this place.“

“We went for dinner tonight, and what a hidden gem it was!! Don’t be fooled by “diner” in the name, this is a high-quality Italian restaurant that also happens to offer all your classic diner specialties, plus several pages of breakfast items.

I had the Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese, and it was excellent! The pieces of chicken cutlet were absolutely amazing. My dad had the meatloaf, and my mom had the pasta with broccoli, and everyone’s meals were delicious.

Everyone around us was raving about their food, too! I can’t wait to come back and try something else. Definitely a place worth checking out!“

“Fantastic dinner. We came with a party of 11. 2 of us came in advance to get us a spot on the waitlist and they told us 30-40 min. The whole party came about 30 min in. We ended up waiting around 60 min total but we had a fine time waiting in their little seating area. They a have great seating area and wine glasses, bottle openers and water out for those parties waiting so we had a nice time waiting, we reviewed the menu and had some wine that we brought (since it's BYOB) while waiting. Once we got seated, we ordered an appetizer special, some lobster bisque soups and the parm oysters. Parm oysters and the blackened tuna special were fantastic. Lobster bisque was pretty good too. For entrees, we got a wide variety of plates, ie seafood risotto, salmon picatta, rib eye steak, salmon filet, steak and lobster potatoes, crab burger and the lobster roll. Everyone raved over their dinner entrees. We followed up with dessert-- cheesecake cannoli was a favorite. Chocolate peanut butter cake was also great. Our server was very friendly and attentive. For entrees, desserts and maybe half the group getting appetizers we spent about $80 each with tip. Last year when we tried to come by it happened to be closed so we were so glad to have it this year, and wish we had been able to come by last year!! We might even come by again for lunch before we head home for the season. Too good. Many compliments to the chef and the rest of the team!!“

“I celebrated my birthday with my sisters at The Gables last night. It is clear that this restaurant knows that a dining experience is more than just about the great food. The ambiance and charm of the restaurant with its meticulous attention to detail translates to understated elegance. Their staff—my experience felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant and they had nothing else to do but take care of us! Our server, Cathy, was so warm and unshakable on a rather busy evening. The room managers strolled throughout the room making sure that every person was seen and noticed. It’s the nicest place I’ve ever dined. Thank you for a truly lovely evening!“

“I have to give it to this place, it does not look like much sitting inside Fantasy Island Amusement Park in Beach Haven LBI, however with the expanded seating area and some pretty cool menu items like ribbon chips drizzled with bacon and sour cream and cheese and pulled pork sliders, it really hits the spot! I was pleasantly surprised how good it was and how clean the seating area is as well. Staff is really friendly as well. Make it a point to grab something to eat here while visiting!“

“Promptly greeted by host Johanna. She accommodated our request to move to an outdoor table. Then server Jasmin nicely greeted each person at the table and answered all of our questions. She was prompt with our bar drinks and very attentive to our requests. Our food served at the perfect temperature; clam chowder soups, rice bowls, and jalapeno bomb burger. We asked jasmin for dessert recommendation and she suggested the cheesecake and excellent choice! We will definitely dine at Fred and Ethel’s again for the outstanding dining experience!“

“Came to The Chicken or the Egg for breakfast while in Beach Haven and had a great experience. Service was fast and friendly, the food came out hot, and the portions were generous.

The star of breakfast was definitely the Buffalo Chicken Omelette. Great combination of flavors with just the right amount of heat, and something a little different from your typical breakfast order. If you like buffalo chicken, this is definitely the one to get!

The place has a fun, casual Jersey Shore vibe and can get busy, but they do a great job keeping everything moving. Good food, quick service, and a great breakfast spot in Beach Haven. Definitely understand why this place is so popular and would absolutely come back next time we’re in LBI.“
