“Some friends insisted I try Tiam Tiam. "You will love it and it's so close to your home." Words spoken by ppl that live 35 miles away ??♀️. Needless to say the food was so good! The fresh taste of the salmon was outrageous. The Taiwanese fried pork chop served w/cabbage and rice was so flavourful and juicy. It was as if I was in a private home. So many spices were used in the preparation it makes the pork chop a must try! Even though the trip was a 15 min circuitous journey it was so worth it. ?“

“This is hands down my favorite all you can eat sushi restaurant. They allowed my wife to just get one roll and for me to do the all you can eat option, most do not allow this. They also started us off with a free roll for the table. The service was good and fast, great variety of rolls. All of them were very tasty. The quantity and quality value is insane. The restaurant seating area is ok.“

“A very good local sushi spot. I've been coming here every since they opened in their previous location and the sushi here is the best in the area. I usually get their special rolls at least once a month. Highly recommend if you're in the area.“

“I tried takeout from Lovin' Today, and I was pleasantly surprised. I've never tried vegan chorizo before, so I was kind of worried about whether I'd like it or not. It actually still had the same kind of spice of regular chorizo. To be honest, I didn't seem to notice that much of a difference between this vegan chorizo and regular chorizo. And they gave a lot of it in the taco as well, so I was happy with that. I also got brown rice as a side. It was a hearty portion size of rice. I got vegan naan bread, which tasted delicious and exactly like regular naan bread. I also loved that they sealed the boxes with tape with a drawn heart on it. It's a small detail, but it shows there was care put into putting my meal together. Overall, i was happy with my meal, and I would definitely order from them again.“

“We really like Masago! We've been ordering their lunch specials for about a year, and the food has always been fresh and consistent with reasonable pricing for the 3 roll combo. We look forward to it every week. Once you order from them on the phone, you can leave your food and payment preferences on file, so calling them and re-ordering is super quick. Delivery during lunch time is usually within 30 minutes, and they will leave the food on your porch if you ask.“

“My sister and I decided last minute to go out to dinner and we landed at Toro Sushi. I actually used Google assistant to call the restaurant for me and reserve a table 15 minutes before our arrival. Toro was half full when we arrived at 7pm on a Saturday but, by 8pm it was full so, our timing was perfect. Everything we ordered was excellent... edamame, tuna avocado salad, Congo roll, New York roll, tuna roll and salmon roll. Service was wonderful. We weren't rushed and food came out quickly. I'm definitely bringing my husband here the next time we visit my sister.“

“We got takeout. They always have our order ready promptly. We ordered Gra Prow fried rice with chicken, Pad Kee Mao noodles with chicken, and wonton soup with chicken wontons. Everything was delicious and with generous portions. They made it spicy as I requested!“

“Sushi was fantastic and the atmosphere is a really nice high-end modern bar lounge with a fireplace and outdoor seating. The perfect place for a night out or even a business lunch. It is very expensive, but that’s what you’d expect from a place of this caliper.“

“Just ordered food here for a lazy Monday night where I didn't feel like cooking myself. Food was delivered within 20 minutes, HOT, and good tasting. Especially with inflation, there is a decent amount of meat in each wanton & meat dish I ordered. I usually order from a different spot because it's closer, but will be ordering delivery from here moving forward!“

“I wish they had vegan options and more vegetarian options. I used to love Bonchon before I stopped eating meat. I got the fried rice without meat and eggs and it was just ok. The vegetable dumplings had a crunchy exterior but the veggies inside were mushy which gives me the impression they aren’t made in house. My daughter absolutely loved her garlic soy chicken and fries. The staff was very friendly and nice which I appreciated.Vegetarian options: Definitely need more“

“I took my very good friend Gary to Kyoto’s to celebrate his birthday. We both had the Sushi Deluxe which was exquisite! Nancy was our server. Her service was excellent. The owner came over to wish Gary a happy birthday and they even made us fried Oreo’s for a delicious birthday desert. It was a wonderful time. Definitely worth the price. I highly recommend going to Kyoto’s.“

“Relatively small restaurant, with high-quality Korean fare. We got short ribs and beef bulgogi, which both were served sizzling hot on cast iron griddles. Tasty soup was provided (on the house) with our dumpling appetizer. Both entrees were offered with a specification of spice/heat level from "1" to "5". The "4" was pleasantly spicy and not overwhelming.Would highly recommend visiting but you may want to call in advance for large groups considering their small seating capacity at any moment.“

“Been a few times now to eat in and grab take out. The people are always friendly and helpful in both scenarios. We've gotten a couple different ramen bowls and poke/burritos. Food is always tasty and generously portioned. Only minor complaint I've ever had is that the eggs in the ramen could be a little less cooked for me but otherwise everything else has been great.“

“Aroy D Thai Restaurant in Verona, NJ, stands out as an authentic Thai dining experience with a diverse menu that caters to vegetarians and vegans. While the restaurant may not always accommodate those with allergies, the variety of vegetarian options makes it a go-to spot for plant-based eaters. One of the highlights of Aroy D is their commitment to providing flavorful vegetarian dishes. I have enjoyed their Thai Green Curry, Thai Red Curry, and Penang Curry in the past, which were rich in traditional Thai spices and offered a delightful culinary experience. However, I must note that there has been a recent change in their policy, and they no longer agree to prepare these dishes without corn starch and soy sauce, limiting the choices for those with specific dietary restrictions and allergies. Despite this drawback - I miss having my curries - without allergen corn :( , there are still plenty of delicious options for vegetarians. The Summer Rolls are a refreshing and appetizing starter, filled with crisp vegetables and served with a flavorful dipping sauce. The Vegetable Fried Rice is a personal favorite, boasting a perfect blend of textures and tastes. Additionally, their Sticky Rice with Mango is a sweet and satisfying way to end the meal. Aroy D's Rolled Coconut Ice Cream is a delightful treat when available. The combination of coconut flavor and the unique rolling technique creates a visually appealing and delicious dessert that adds a perfect finishing touch to the dining experience. While it's disappointing that they may not be as accommodating to those with allergies, Aroy D Thai Restaurant remains a reliable choice for vegetarians and vegans seeking authentic Thai cuisine in Verona. The friendly staff and inviting atmosphere contribute to an overall positive dining experience, making Aroy D a place worth exploring for Thai food enthusiasts, especially those with a penchant for plant-based options.“

“This Thai restaurant offers a delightful, vibrant atmosphere with a cozy yet intimate setting. The waitstaff was exceptional, providing attentive service with welcoming smiles. The cuisine was outstanding, boasting flavors that tantalize the taste buds. In particular, the drunken noodles stood out as the highlight. Despite limited parking availability, I highly recommend this establishment for a memorable dining experience.“

“This place has a cute charm and is always busy. We usually grab takeout, and the food is consistently tasty. We decided to dine in with a reservation one day, and despite arriving on time, we were told of a 30-minute wait, with a line ahead of us. The staff were unfriendly and insisted that we wait outside. Disappointed by the experience, we opted to eat elsewhere. It's a shame; this spot used to be my go-to for Thai food, but the recent service hiccup has kept me away.“

“Nice bright space with large poke bowl portions. I went for the first time recently, having been to another local poke spot many times. While I enjoy both places, this one definitely won on portion, which was my main complaint about the other one (too small). A very nice surprise!Order at the counter or on their self-order screen. Counter order-taker was friendly and cheerful. Food came out within 5 minutes and I sat at a table in the window. Was the only one dining-in, although they were doing a decent pick-up business.I ordered the spicy bowl and it was excellent. It comes with a generous portion of spicy tuna, spicy kani (crab stick) and spicy shrimp over rice, cucumbers, jalapeño, seaweed and tobiko. It looks like the have a nice selection of appetizers, as well. I will try that and bring the family next time!“

“Stumbled across this hidden gem and went for lunch. It is a very small intimate location, the food was great and the lunch special is 10$ which let's be honest we don't see too often anymore. I had the chicken and broccoli and my friend had general tsos, both were delicious and a fair portion. Will definitely be returning and looking forward to trying a new item!!“

“You definitely don't go here for the atmosphere-you go for the food. It was a cold night and I was in the mood for some ma la flavors to get warm. I had seen this restaurant a couple of times so decided to give them a try. It is a small place, with four tables that seat four people, and a couple that seat two. One of the side walls is covered with printouts of a number of the dishes, which can be helpful for those that don't know what some of the dishes look like. There is only one person working both the register and the tables, so patience is appreciated here. Did I mention earlier that I was cold? We walked over from the parking lot under the highway (free on Saturday nights) and was very chilled by the time we entered. Cold and hungry, we ordered lamb with cumin and ma la pot chicken. My companion ordered snow pea tips and vegetable mei fun. To start, we split an order of pan fried vegetable dumplings. The waitress checked to be sure that we wanted all that food for two people-the ma la pot chicken alone is big enough to split between two people (or one VERY hungry person). Reassuring her that we wanted all that food, we settled down to wait. The dumplings came out first, and we are still trying to decide what the filling was comprised of. Carrots, cabbage and....daikon? Not sure, but it was delicious and increased our expectation for the rest of the meal. Next came the ma la pot chicken and I immediately understood why she wanted to confirm our order. I definitely was not finishing all of that in one sitting. The chicken had some lovely crunchy bits around the edges and while the dish itself is dry, the chicken was not. The ma la flavor filled my mouth and warmed my stomach. Lamb with cumin is a great dish to pair with rice, and half a bowl of rice was gone before I even blinked. My companion noted that their vegetable mei fun was flavorful and not oily although the snow pea tips could have been more tender. Overall, the meal was flavorful and a prefect choice on a cold night. I need to come back here and try out a couple more dishes that I usually order, and try a new one or two (spicy and sour potato, shredded???). Yes please!!“

“The restaurant is very welcoming, I have been here on more than one occasion. The soup is Quite a bit too salty for my taste. However, Wonderful Staff, The restaurant is clean, but the service makes you want to order and support. Phenomenal, excellentent staff, They provide an outstanding service.Vegetarian options: You can order vegetarian plates and lots of veggies, if that is your preference.Kid-friendliness: There were kids with their family in the restaurant, very calm, enjoying their meal as everyone else. “This cute restaurant is not downtown Ridgewood NJ.However it offers superior Japanese fare and is always busy with regulars and locals. The sushi and sashimi selection is great, they also have Udon dishes and appetizers like Yakitori ,as well as Teriyaki plates (chicken, salmon with rice), all very tasty. It can be a bit crowded on the weekends , its a popular place !The inside is a bit on the older side and if you make reservations ask for a booth, better than the tables or eating at the sushi bar (small space). They also have plenty of take-out orders on the week-end, so try to get in before 7:00pm to avoid lines.“

“Love having a Korean restaurant in this area stay open and have the great atmosphere that Seoul Galbi provides. “The sushi here is incredible, I wouldn’t go anywhere else for sushi. The service is mostly quick to get the food out to you. My main issue is the customer service is not the best. They can come off rude at times but has recently gotten much better. The place is small and would be better if expanded.“

“First time there, sat a a table, very good overall. Fresh sushi, delicate pieces. One negative, the Spicy Shumi Sashimi Salad which was a bit too spicy and several fish morsels that were sinewy and should never have made it into a salad. Should've mentioned this to the server but didn't. Was hoping for a salad similar to the iconic Nobu Sashimi salad but sadly, no. Otherwise everything else was tasty, well prepared and served in a timely fashion. Not crazy about having to browse the menu on my phone and also would have been nice to have been prompted that its BYOB“

“Seriously some of the best vegetarian sushi I've ever had. A lot of places just give you very simple rolls. These were extremely creative and delicious. This is now my go to place for sushi as a vegetarian. All the other foods looked amazing as well!“
“I very rarely eat in person dining here, no particular reason why , I just seem to order takeout with them the majority of the time. I have eaten in house though. Food is always consistently good. Always hot when I get home. Never once have they made a mistake on my order. One time I went to order via DoorDash for delivery and the restaurant actually called me because ordering through DoorDash was twice the price as ordering direct with them. I think that's great customer service if you ask me.“

“I don’t know why there is no one eating in the restaurant but the food was good! The server was good! Server gave me water even though it wasn’t in my order because sometimes they are very by themselves at the corner but this restaurant deserves people to eat in there. If you are reading this please do stop by!Food description! The wonton was really crispy and the drunken noodles (Thai food) was good being cooked by Chinese person. I wonder what it would taste like if I also got Chinese food instead? Do stop by if you can!“

“Honestly the best Chinese take out place in the area. Prior to the pandemic, they had some dishes that you can only get in New York Chinatown. Now it looks like they pared down the menu and only do the common Americanized Chinese food items. But they do it well. If you were to get a shrimp lo mein from TS Ma or Hunan Taste in Montclair, and compare it to the shrimp lo mein at Lotus Oriental, it'll pretty much be the same, only LO will be a lot cheaper.“

“Now this place has GREAT FOOD. If you're a sushi lover, then I do recommend this place. It's different from a traditional buffet because they give you a menu sheet and pencils, and you pick the items you want, and they make your food Ala carte. The food is brought out on a large tray which is placed kn the table. It's more like a share type set up, and it works nicely. My only complaint is the restraunt itself. It's sleepy and very outdated. Feels like you stepped back in time. The seating is old and the tables are too small. If they updated the decor and gutted the place and made it more modern, their business would skyrocket more than it already is.Regardless of the decor, I will be going back again because the food is that good.“
