“Food, ambience and service were all fine. Background music was a bit loud and disruptive at times, at least in the bar/lounge area. Value was good for their bar menu and 30% off on certain things. Though my credit card fee was charged on the gross amount before the discount AND I was taxed on the credit card fee as well. Simply should be taxed on the food and beverage only, otherwise taking advantage of the patron.“

“Had the best dining experience at Eddie V's! They were extremely accommodating and a very pleasant staff (especially our waiter Jason).

Basically there was an error in my order and without complaining or making a big deal about it the chef, manager and waiter went above and beyond to correct and make the situation right.

The customer service was impeccable and I would definitely come back to dine at Eddie V's!

“I NEVER do reviews lol I don’t think average people ever do in my opinion which is why I never really trust reviews and wasn’t gonna eat here last night when my homie tried to convince me because they had decent reviews lol BUT LET ME TELL YOU! I’m so happy I took the chance with them, the food was fire affff! & the chef cooking it look like he know what he doing & when I asked for my shrimp well done it came out cooked perfect not too raw & not overcooked. Rice was fire steak cooked perfect & chicken was amazing too . On top of that the food prices are unbeatable. If this spot ever got a huge marketing sponsor , they would put Benihana & all other Asian restaurants out of business. I like eating at el puerto in Harlem New York a lot but after coming here I might start coming here instead of driving all the way to NY and save the puertos for when I’m in the city lol

“Seafood pimps was the best decision I could had made to celebrate my 56th birthday. I decided to purchase the Nexf ix & Chill. First the presentation was SUPERB. The crabs, mussels and shrimp were FRESH and DELECTABLE. The vegetables were seasoned to perfection. least of them all the amount that you receive is enough to feed a full size family, and we only ordered for two. I will definitely be back. “Lunch service was nice. However my brother ordered a Paella and there was hardly any rice in it. Given the fact the waiter insisted it would feed 3 I'm glad he ordered his solo cause it was barely enough for him. I ordered a chicken breast and chorizo lunch special. It was good. Aside from the spicy flavors it was great. The service was fantastic. It's no wonder they've been around for a long time. My brother recommended this place since he's been coming here a long time. “The trout is the best in the area. The servers can be unprofessional and rude. When asked to tie back their hair, the request was refused. A nonsense response of not required was insulting. As an experienced service trainer, the hair in question should have been restraining. Health department requirements override a servers vain attitude.“

“Seafood Birthday Bash!

Went to this restaurant for my uncles birthday. He doesn’t eat chicken or steak so seafood is his favorite. Caldwell Seafood Market & Cafe was an obvious choice because of the pictures and the fact it was a fresh seafood market just stood out to me. It did not disappoint either! We were a group of 10 people and ordered everything our heart desired and spent $579. We ordered 3 orders of fried calamari which was nice and crispy and they even had a ginger sauce which is different. We tried the hot and spicy shrimp which had a great sauce to dip the complementary bread in. We ordered 5 bowls of New England clam chowder. I felt it was watery and not as seasoned as I am used to but we enjoyed it anyway. They forgot a bowl of soup but we won’t hold it against them. We all ordered entrees and most of us got a dessert! We left full and satisfied!

Knowing my family we love to eat and we are all reviewers at heart and are not afraid to say what we do not like. Everyone loved their food from the appetizers to the dessert and we were surprised at how fast the food came and how fresh it was. The waiter was very attentive as well. We didn’t need a reservation when we came in at 3pm and were the only ones there. Surprising it was not packed for a Saturday afternoon but started to fill up as we left.

Overall this restaurant gets a 5/5 because the experience was great, the waiter was very nice and accommodating, the food was piping hot and everyone was pleased even the kids who aren’t really seafood fans.

The atmosphere was great, the music was a little too LOUD especially for some young children in my party and we the adults and young people we couldn’t hear each other speaking and my suggestion is to have the music at a moderate tone so we can hear each other at the table and also to make sure the waitress/waiter get the food order correct . “Wow, what a great restaurant ?
This was our first time here and we were blown away with how wonderful EVERYTHING was.
We went here for the wife's birthday and they had set up a special table just for the two of us.
Whoever designed the decor did a great job with the colors, etc. They made one completely forget about the surrounding neighborhood. While it's not a bad area, it's just not really picturesque by any means.
Wonderful fresh rolls and a super pesto spread started the meal. Next I had a mushroom soup to die for and definitely unlike any other I have had before.
For dinner, my wife had the pork chop which was delicious and cooked perfectly. I had the short ribs with a light brown sauce, mushrooms, spinach and mashed potatoes, which was great, to say the least.
We shared the First "mounds" which was vanilla ice cream, dark chocolate and coconut and should not be missed. Lastly I want to mention that the waiter and the rest of the wait staff were all courteous, accommodating and very professional. We felt that they were among the best we have encountered in our area by far.
We will definitely be dining here again in the coming weeks and I would suggest that anyone living in Bergen county or northern NJ should do the same. EXCELLENT ?
