“Sear House is impeccably clean, pastas and steaks are prepared well, bread served warm and housemade desserts delicious. The dinner pricepoint is a little high but comparable to similar menu restaurants in NJ. Sun-Thur prix fixe is your best bet but with limited selection. We appreciated the pristine airy ambiance, service and food at an earlier repast event with screens available to show photos and videos of remembrance. They were quite respectful of what was being said and shared and waited patiently to serve at appropriate times.“

“Eddie V’s Paramus is a gem! The Ahi Tuna Tartare was fresh and bursting with flavor, and the Filet Medallions Oscar Style with crab fried rice were absolute perfection. Service was phenomenal — Amy was amazing, and every staff member made us feel like VIPs. I skipped dessert, but they insisted I try one on the house — a classy touch that sealed the night. Seafood boil in this day and age is so expensive and here I can get 1/b crab legs, a potato, an egg, and cajun fries for close to $25. The hibachi menu is also DELICIOUS. I have ordered for pickup here with my mother twice and both times service was fast and the food was delicious.“

“Been a while since we went to Axton’s, but my wife and I will be celebrating 30 years this week, we thought we’d start with a fine dinner WTH Chef Anton. Early on a Sunday during the summer was far from their busy time, so we had a chance to chat. For starters, we shared an apple mango salad. Shame on me for not reading the menu. The dressing is apple mango. Home made! I was looking for mango in the salad. Apple, craisins, two kinds of cheese…. Perfect for a hot July day. My wife ordered the shrimp marinara over spinach instead of pasta. Delicious and even more impressive was that the shrimp had their tails removed. A great touch. The piece de resistance was my scallop special. Scallops topped with Crabcake coating topped with bacon. Served over a bed of spinach with cherry tomatoes and more. My wife called it spectacular. I thought it was a taste of heaven. Couldn’t figure out one taste in the sauce. Originally thought mango, but there was none in the salad. Had to ask if it was peach? Mango was the winner. The dish was a bigger winner!“

“Seafood pimps was the best decision I could had made to celebrate my 56th birthday. I decided to purchase the Nexf ix & Chill. First the presentation was SUPERB. The crabs, mussels and shrimp were FRESH and DELECTABLE. The vegetables were seasoned to perfection. least of them all the amount that you receive is enough to feed a full size family, and we only ordered for two. I will definitely be back. I recommend Seafood Pimps to anyone that enjoy fresh mouth watering seafood.“

“The trout is the best in the area. The servers can be unprofessional and rude. When asked to tie back their hair, the request was refused. A nonsense response of not required was insulting. As an experienced service trainer, the hair in question should have been restraining. Health department requirements override a servers vain attitude.“

“Seafood Birthday Bash!

Went to this restaurant for my uncles birthday. He doesn’t eat chicken or steak so seafood is his favorite. Caldwell Seafood Market & Cafe was an obvious choice because of the pictures and the fact it was a fresh seafood market just stood out to me. It did not disappoint either! We were a group of 10 people and ordered everything our heart desired and spent $579. We ordered 3 orders of fried calamari which was nice and crispy and they even had a ginger sauce which is different. We tried the hot and spicy shrimp which had a great sauce to dip the complementary bread in. We ordered 5 bowls of New England clam chowder. I felt it was watery and not as seasoned as I am used to but we enjoyed it anyway. They forgot a bowl of soup but we won’t hold it against them. We all ordered entrees and most of us got a dessert! We left full and satisfied!

Knowing my family we love to eat and we are all reviewers at heart and are not afraid to say what we do not like. Everyone loved their food from the appetizers to the dessert and we were surprised at how fast the food came and how fresh it was. The waiter was very attentive as well. We didn’t need a reservation when we came in at 3pm and were the only ones there. Surprising it was not packed for a Saturday afternoon but started to fill up as we left.

Overall this restaurant gets a 5/5 because the experience was great, the waiter was very nice and accommodating, the food was piping hot and everyone was pleased even the kids who aren’t really seafood fans.

“Lunch service was nice. However my brother ordered a Paella and there was hardly any rice in it. Given the fact the waiter insisted it would feed 3 I'm glad he ordered his solo cause it was barely enough for him. I ordered a chicken breast and chorizo lunch special. It was good. Aside from the spicy flavors it was great. The service was fantastic. It's no wonder they've been around for a long time. My brother recommended this place since he's been coming here a long time. I'm definitely opened to give it another try.“

“I ordered from here looking for some jerk pork and festival and I could not be more satisfied! The pork was juicy, spicy, and grilled as all jerk pork should be. The festival were hot and freshly made. This was an 11/10 because it was all fresh and hot. Likklle Helshire Restaurant, 👏🏿👏🏿. Please, please add small and large portions of the jerk pork and jerk chicken to the Uber Eats menu so I can order just the meat and my festival. Thank you!“

I ordered a calamari to go, and the bartender (a super friendly guy) was fantastic. He was incredibly nice and even threw in a huge piece of bread—easily 10 inches long! “On Saturday May 28th I had a reservation for 15 people because it was my daughter sweet sixteenth birthday dinner. The atmosphere was great, the music was a little too LOUD especially for some young children in my party and we the adults and young people we couldn’t hear each other speaking and my suggestion is to have the music at a moderate tone so we can hear each other at the table and also to make sure the waitress/waiter get the food order correct . “I've passed by this place on multiple occasions and finally decided to try it and it was great. I bought the hot buffalo and teriyaki flavored wings and they were great. The teriyaki was not salty but had that great flavor. The hot wings though could use more heat but have good flavor overall. I'm a heat seeker so I like big hits of spice so try at your own discretion. Overall great local wing spot, which Newark needed. If your too far from buffalo wild wings or wing stop, give panzz a try.“
