“Great vibe. Absolutely LOVE the jazz trio. Food tasted great. Portions are quite small for the price, and the steak was very especially grizzly, unfortunately. Very attentive and well trained staff. Lots of push upselling drinks on the drinks, and they brought bottle water we had to pay for despite asking for tap 3 times. Wonderful wine and cocktails menu. Overall I would recommend for special occasions.“

“This was my first time at Capital Grill. I sat at the bar. Bri was professional and knowledgeable about the menu and beverages. Very familial aura. It was amazing. The atmosphere was elegant yet open. The menu was well composed with great suggested parings from Bri the bartender. The service she provided was truly amazing. Made me feel warm, welcomed, and appreciated. It was such an experience we had to return for a night cap on the way out!“

“Eggplant parm dinner delicious, second time ordering. I was ordering Italian dinners from some other local restaurants. But coworkers raved about the pizza, and fb best of bergen people raved about the eggplant parm.. so I had to try. This place is truly better. Definately check them out!“

“In town for a Driscoll Food Show. As restaurant owners ourselves we take notice of so many attributes. The ambiance, attention to detail, service and especially the food. Our meals were absolutely delicious. I had the Butternut Squash Soup and King Salmon with Beurre Blanc with Sundried Tomatoes and my husband had the Scallops with Angel Hair. Nice experience and highly recommend!“

“The food here is excellent! I love when a chef has seasonal menus. We arrived the first night of their ‘Spring menu” and it was amazing. I had the crab cake appetizer and the scallops for my entree. The favorite thing I tried all night was the fried artichoke and calamari dish - omg a must try! My aunt had the cod for her entree which she loved. The portions are on the bigger side. The hostess, the staff, and Chef were all so friendly and welcoming!“

“Great food and very nice inside. We had a business dinner here and I really enjoyed it. The food was excellent, as was the staff.We had drinks, several appetizers, and each a separate entree. “The food was super fresh and so tasty. I think we were there shortly before closing but the few tables that were also dining at the same time were also served quickly. My family ordered three different entrees and shared. We were really happy with our meals- everything was super fresh, the use of veggies and sauces really elevated the taste and quality of the seafood being used. The staff was very friendly and the place had a comfortable feel.“

“We had our daughters communion party at Axton’s and what a great overall experience!! Food was amazing! Chef Anton never fails to deliver and present the most delicious and beautiful apps and entrees ! Fran and Hope are great waitresses. The service is always top notch ! The atmosphere is so beautiful. They had everything exactly what I envisioned for my daughters beautiful day and so much more! We had the best day ! “First time at this Restaurant and we were greeted right away with a friendly hello. It seems like an average Chinese restaurant. They do make Hibachi style food here as well.We ordered Mumbo sauce wings and Honey/Old Bay sauce wings. They both were delicious! The fried shrimp was breaded and cooked to perfection! The added cocktail and tarter sauces on the side was appeasing to the pallet as well!We also had the fried rice (which contains eggs) and that was ok.The prices on their Menu is very reasonable! You get alot of food for your money.We did have to wait some time for our order and it did start to get a little busy when we were waiting, but all in all, it was worth the wait!Check out Hi Good Stuff in Clifton! It is a MUST try!!We will be returning here again to try their Boil Seafood Bags that they have!???“

“Pros: empanada trio - they fill those tasty pockets and the pastry is flaky and done just right. Highly rec the spinach and cheese, and picadillo. The corn fritters were bite size minis and yummy. I had the ropa vieja mofongos - muy rico. Hubby had the vaca con ropa - what a combo! The service was quick and friendly. The prices were reasonable and the portions were fair Cons: the air was a bit stuffy - the AC was on sometimes so it felt a tad too warm on a slightly cool early May evening. Parking is very limited and valet is $5. Street parking is also limited - hey the place is good so what can I say...booming business is a good thing, right? We're going back very soon. I want more empanadas and want to try their lechon“

“I just returned from Costa Rica! Three days later I ran to Tucanes for Costa Rican food! They do not disappoint! Delicious, fresh, authentic and beautifully presented is exactly how to describe my meal! In addition to scrumptious food, TucanesHas a lovely, pristine atmosphere with excellent service. “This place has the best Indian cuisine in town! Definitely worth it. Jami is so helpful and patient when I’m trying to order takeout. Jami and the other staff are always so kind to answer any questions I have about certain dishes and food items. I hope to try the lunch buffet sometime soon— there’s many delicious meals to choose from. I usually order Vegetable Samosas, Paneer Masala with Basmati Rice and Garlic Tandoori Naan. I also love the Mango Lassi and the Masala Chai. Everything is fresh and the service is exceptional. “I have been passing by this small restaurant for the past 4 years and wanting to try it out. Finally I went and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised that the small restaurant, which doesn’t look like much from the outside has amazing Mediterranean Turkish food. I was very impressed. Everything was fresh And delicious. This is definitely gem in the ruff . The restaurant is very welcoming and comfi . It’s a family business, and Adam was very helpful and pleasant as a waiter and he told me that his family owns the business. They take a lot of pride in the food that they serve. Also the price for what I paid for lunch was a great deal I got a Shepherds salad. Chicken kebab with rice, and another grain called Bulgar. they also gave me on the house a Turkish custard, which was very delicious. The lunch also comes with a soda. This is a must try hotspot, especially for lunch. I will definitely be back to eat the delicious Turkish food.“

“Went for my husband’s birthday. Table got the mussels for appetizer. Fusilli arrabiata, chicken parm, and two seafood dishes- Risco con Pesce (shrimp and scallops is pesto cream sauce and rice) and Mare Misto (shrimp scallops and lobster tail in garlic sauce)- all were delicious! Family style salad and cheese and bread were served, too. Finished off the meal with lemoncello, tiramisu, and the tartufo. Also delicious. Definitely recommend- but make reservations!“

“The food was amazing. I had the grouper fish with smoked tomatoes, parmesean risotto and broccoli. I drink a pineapple martini made with fresh pineapple juice garnished with fresh pineapple. The wait staff was attentive and not annoying, allowing my husband and I to converse and enjoy the meal.“
“Was in the area and was highly recommend. It was dinner time to I decided to do a takeout order. I called ahead for a lobster roll that would be ready in 10 minutes, it really only took 5. It came warm so I was really excited. Would recommend paying cash as they do charge the 3% credit card fee which wasn't disclosed when I asked if cash or credit was better but it wasn't a big deal. It ended up being $30. Getting into the sandwich, then bread was buttery and toasted with huge chunks of lobster stuffed in it. I should have mentioned that I would have preferred Maine style (butter) vs. Connecticut style (mayo) but honestly the Connecticut style was not bad at all and I'm usually not a huge mayo person. It wasn't drowning in the mayo or too overwhelming and the finely chopped celery added a nice subtle crunch, again not too overpowering. Totally worth the money in my opinion. I would definitely come back here to try the other items on the menu or even to pick up some fresh fish for cooking. They have seating in the back for the casual restaurant part.“

“I spent about $140 on take-out for Mother’s Day. After getting home, I realized that my $10 virgin pina colada drink was not in the bag. I called the restaurant to ask if it was included in my order and they confirmed that it was ordered. So I told Carma that I’d come back to pick it up. Upon arrival I jokingly said to the front desk lady that it would be nice to have a second drink for free since they forgot my drink. She went back to get my drink and I heard over the restaurant handheld radio, a woman saying we are not giving him a free drink and he’s gotta pay for it. So you mess up my order and I gotta come back there, and that’s the best you can do. Truly disappointed in this poor disregard of customer service.“

“Our first time as we are visiting from out of town. Our server Cesar was so wonderful. Very accommodating and helpful. The food was phenomenal. “My wife and I went to Highlawn for our Mother's Day celebration dinner. As usual, we had a fantastic time! Although we arrived early we were seated within 5 minutes. Our waiter brought complimentary champagne drinks, and we ordered shrimp cocktail and caesar salad appetizers. Both were fresh and very tasty. For our main entree we split the rigatoni bolognese which was seasoned perfectly. The staff was super attentive, and we will definitely come back!“
