“Went for their Taco Tuesday special yesterday which is a great deal! The regular full size tacos and options for a discounted price. Mike helped us out and was awesome! Great friendly service with outstanding food. I love going here with my Vegan friend because they have food he eats and that I also enjoys Got the churros for dessert with the homemade caramel dipping sauce Mike made and they’re out of this world! Great atmosphere & had a friendly talk with Mike who was working. Great overall experience would recommend to anyone and will be back! Hope you enjoyed the hot honey Mike!“

“Our first time going to the Totowa location (met up with friends for lunch). Staff was very friendly and helpful - we decided to eat outside and they brought the food to us quickly. We had the tacos, regular bowl with carnitas and fajita bowl with steak and pina-mango drink. Food was very tasty and freshly made. Will come back to try El Pastor. “I have to say it was a great 1st time experience the place is very clean bathroom very clean place smells amazing.our waitress Stephanie greeted us as soon as we walked in very nice very polite very professional also low-key funny…. Our bartender, Francesca was also a vibe & makes the best cosmos I’ve ever had…I definitely recommend the Thai chili wings. They were amazing the crispy chicken tacos also looked good. I would rate the food 10 out of 10 the drinks 10 out of 10 the customer service 10 out of 10. It’s definitely a must if you haven’t come down to the hive, I promise you will not regret. It’s a whole vibe definitely gonna see me again.“

“My eight year old is very picky. Very picky. And I want him to understand that Taco Bell is not Mexican food. So we went in hopes he would at least try some real tacos. Well, he did. I don’t know how you did it, El Macho but he polished off a full plate of four carnitas tacos! The waitress was nice enough to just give him meat and added cheese but he devoured them. We will be returning! Five stars!“

“This is our favorite fast food Mexican. We have been coming here for the past 5 years. Our favorite is the Brisket Plato with smoked black beans. Beef is tender, juicy, tasty, smoky.
I mixed the rice with salsa roja, cilantro, lime, jalapeño pepper.

I called and called some more but no one ever picked up the phone. Now the phone is disconnected. There is only seating at the counter, so I guess it’s meant to be pickup primarily, but the food was quick and delicious and the young woman working behind the counter was friendly and helpful. “I come to this spot at least once a week. I wish more people knew about this place. It’s such a hidden gem and the food is amazing. I recently got obsessed with Poké bowls out of nowhere and was looking for a place in New Jersey that did them and I found this one Rutherford. The owner is super nice and hands-on and is always trying to make that atmosphere feel super welcoming. They also have some really cool snack snacks and drink drinks here other than the Poké bowls definitely would recommend.“
