“I was recently in New Jersey for a concert and staying at a hotel for a few nights. My friend and I were looking for a quick bite to eat nearby. We decided to go to this place on a whim and it turned out to be one of the best decisions ever. The atmosphere was incredible. Everyone in there was so cool and the bartender was fantastic and very helpful. She recommended the Jack Daniels burger so we both went with it. When I tell you we both dreamed about this burger for our entire trip. We ended up going back to this place two more times. It was such a great local place with great people. I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re ever in the area go there and get the Jack Daniels burger. Talk to the locals. Have a pint and enjoy the vibes. 5/5. 10/10. Incredible.“

“Walked in this weekend for the first time and the female bartender was super friendly and helpful! We just wanted to stop in for a quick app and a beer. We ordered the fries and 2 rounds of beers and the check was super reasonable. We will definitely be back when it is nicer out to sit outside. They have a variety of things on the menu, a pool table, shuffleboard table and electronic darts.“

Other bars right down the block plays music just as loud and stays open just as late. Besides the one incident last year, there aren’t any brawls or fights that happen there. Most ppl that go there are regulars and know each other. To the ppl complaint about it being loud in open late, you have the power to move to another place you knew where you were moving to when you moved there tankys has been there my whole lifeThe drinks are strong and cheap, the vibe is chill, older crowd, when they have a DJ the music is good, u can bring food in, and they have a lil pool table and a parking lot. I been going to tankys for year and never had a bad experience. Occasionally the bartenders be too busy to get to me and I’ll get tired of waiting and leave but that’s all rare.“

“I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Newark Airport hotel in Elizabeth NJ 08-09JAN2026 for a business trip. I was a little concerned that there were no other nearby restaurants to the hotel, so I decided to try the TKP Bar & Grill within the hotel. The restaurant was small and had limited food options. However, Willie the bartender was very nice and my Caesar salad with salmon was very good. The salmon was crispy on the outside and tender inside, so I was pleasantly surprised at my great meal inside the hotel. Thanks Willie and the kitchen staff for a nice evening!“

“The place was chilled and I, the bartenders were polite and everything and they was on point. But the I'll go over there is kind of expensive because I wanted one thing and then I had to do a maximum charge of $20. I wanted to buy 3 Coronavirus. One shot at tequila which I didn't really want. I just wanted one beer and just be about my way. But I had to spend like $20 in order to like enjoy myself. Which I didn't really want to do that. So I sat there for a solo couple of familiar faces that I was talking to on the internet and then I kind of got uncomfortable and I just left in debt but over all the atmosphere was dope. “This place has recently been remodeled. It's great for the area. The music is great and the services is excellent. I hosted a wedding reception here. It has beautiful hardwood floors a fair amount of tables. A full bar in and outside of the hall area. Excellent price given for using their facility. Great place for any type of party. Not your ruff child hangout spot. No parking lot but plenty of parking in the area. They have security and the place is well lit.The owner and manager is very kind and helpful.“

“super small place oy about 6 tables plus a few bar seats. food is super expensive but we had Erin as our server and she was absolutely wonderful. can't say enough nice things about her. super friendly and very attentive to our needs. she made it a wonderful experience. food was not great, a little bit greasy and very overpriced. there's literally about 4 choices on the entire menu. Reuben sandwich with fries ($15) chicken tenders with fries($13) bowl of mac and cheese ($12) chicken wings (6 for $8) we weren't going to eat here but it is inside the hotel and we didn't want to drive anymore after a long road trip to get to the hotel. if it wasn't for Erin's awesome service then we would have walked out.“
