“From the moment we walked past this place, we could SMELL how special it was… the alluring aroma was hard to stay away from. On a whim, we walked in and were warmly greeted by staff and invited to sit quite promptly despite being so busy. First impression: great!

Service was excellent, and ambiance was very warm. But the food… the food was the star of this place. If you ever pass by this place, PLEASE do yourselves the favor and try the banana oatmeal. It is a perfect treat to end your meal as a pseudo dessert. Anything from this menu will tantalize your tastebuds in a way that will keep you coming back for more.

“One of our favorite places to take out. Everything is always fresh and the quality never changes. My husband and I love their wraps and my kids love their chicken fingers. The fries are the best and travel well / never soggy. The staff is also always so friendly - including and especially John who kindly runs the food out to my car anytime I call ahead if I happen to be with my kids so I don’t have to unload and load 2 kids just to run inside and grab the order. “I eat breakfast here about 3-4x a week and the food is good. My only issue is that on Aug 12 2025 I ordered my usually breakfast sandwiches and instead of telling me they ran out of eggs they sold me the sandwiches at full price and yea beef bacon cheese on a roll with jelly does not hit the same without eggs. I didn't hold it against them and I came in today Aug 13 and me not even asking for anything free or any favors started to inform the woman at the counter what happened and she just cut me off mid sentence and asked for my order she clearly did not care. I left it alone and this was my favorite breakfast spot but today will be the last time I give them my business. The food is great tho.“

“I came to First Watch for the very first time last Thursday and had an outstanding experience. Sheila was my server and could not have been more helpful, kind, and patient. I’m usually indecisive, but Sheila guided me by suggesting, “You could get the best of both worlds with 2 for you,” which was perfect. I chose the Roast Beef & Havarti (she recommended having the roast beef heated, and it was spot on) along with the Chicken Avocado Chop Salad. The food was excellent, but the service truly stood out. Sheila had a smile on her face the entire time, which brightened my day before class. I highly recommend both this restaurant and Sheila as your server!

My husband and I stumbled across this small grill diner hidden in the cut — and what a find! We stopped in for brunch and everything was spot on. He had the shrimp and grits, and I went with the meat lovers with egg whites. Both dishes were so good — seasoned just right and cooked perfectly. The food was delicious and the service was just as excellent. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cozy spot with quality food. 👌🏼“

“Long review DISCLAIMER!!! I was traveling from the Carolinas to NYC and after shopping at the Linden Walmart Supercenter, I was very hungry and desired some pancakes. After scouring Google reviews for some place nearby besides Ihop to satisfy my hunger, I decided to check out Kelly's Breakfast at 159 Elmora Avenue. However, I was pressed for time on a sit down meal since I was trying to make it to Brooklyn in time to pick my Mother up from church. Well, I just happened to find myself near New Jersey this morning and wanted to still have my meal from Kelly's Breakfast. Around my morning arrival time paid street parking in front of the establishment was limited but I was able to find parking on the side street within a short walking distance. I was met with a greeting and a friendly smile as I entered and approached the counter. No, this is not a big place, but with ample seating to accommodate 2 or 4 guests at a table the vibe is inviting, warm, and relaxing! There's a TV tune to the news if you're interested! As I was dining alone I glanced to see what was the latest happenings in our world. It did not take long for my order to arrived to my table and I gave it a 10 for presentation. Also, a 10 for taste, portion size, and quality. Another 10 for CUSTOMER SERVICE OVERALL and accommodating a small request reference my phone. The prior reviews that stirred me in the direction to Kelly's Breakfast did it justice and I will continue with my 5 Stars. Kelly, who was also the hostess, is charming and checks on you to ensure everything is good. I will be back in my future travels!!!“

“Went with the wife after picking up our painted clay from Color Me Mine nearby. We were impressed by the colorful chalk menu up on the wall, with a limited yet delightful selection of salads and sandwiches.

We ordered the BLAT and the Mona Lisa sandwiches, along with the Vermont salad.

The staff are very friendly and take your order almost immediately, even with a line. The drinks we ordered were prepared right on the spot and ready in no time.

The sandwiches themselves were ready in about 10-15 minutes, fresh and hot

All the ingredients were incredibly fresh and high quality, and at a reasonable price as well. Averaging at $12 per sandwich, we were left full and satisfied.

The same can be said for the salad, which was quite delectable.

“I’ve been eating here for almost 10 years. The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD. People use the word butter milk pancakes loosely. Theirs really taste like butter milk. Everything is good. Same chef for years. My only complaint is, They never open on time, they’ve actually been closed for a while with no notice. Shame because me and my girlfriend are from out of town and waited outside for almost 2 hours. If they correct punctuality, I would give it five out of five stars because the food is phenomenal.“
