“This review is for their coffee but also their workspace at their 80th street location. As for the coffee — it’s great. Definitely more expensive than an already expensive coffee shop (iced americano is $9) — but it’s good for sure.
Service and vibes are very nice. Emilio at the 80th street location is really awesome.
Best of all they have a great workspace a few doors down that’s quiet and a great place to work.“

“This cafe is so lovely. I had the pleasure of Desi and Aida assisting me with my order. They made the most delicious soy chai with amazing foam. Their desserts were amazing as well. It was refreshing to be greeted with such positive and friendly energy in New York. I can't wait to come back when I am in the area. “Live in the neighborhood and just tried this place out for the first time and it was fantastic. The baristas were super friendly and it had great ambience. I got the cold brew which was not that expensive relative to some other coffee shops, and was delicious.“

“Stephanie, one of the managers of Tkts shop at Times Square, told me about your 'mum & pap' coffeeshop for great coffee and delicious pastry. And she was right! The espresso was STRONG and the croissant-sandwich turkey, bacon and cheese was very nice. The atmosphere was friendly and cosy. Your Frisson franchise is worth the short walk from the theatre district.“

“Cutesy little coffee shop bakery that I stumbled upon while in town. Small, quaint, quiet and cutesy. My gf and I ordered a slice of Banana Walnut Bread, Spearmint Hot Tea, Iced Passionfruit Black Tea and Kouign-amann. “I had a friend come in from the Midwest & needed quick breakfast. We came across Chinos as an option & decided to try due to amazing reviews. This place is easily accessible, spacious, extremely clean, organized etc... plenty of food options available. Menu was affordable. Customer service was fantastic & above/beyond. I've never been served food directly to the table at spots like this. Typically they call you up to the counter to take it. Great experience & would most definitely return when back in the area.
Btw those drinks are better than Starbucks! If they had a separate location just for drinks & pastries... I would most definitely be there. #supportsmallbusiness“

Foods good, but EXPENSIVE! I forgot how expensive things can be in Manhattan

“Our favorite coffee shop in Hells Kitchen and favorite cortado in New York. We've been in the neighborhood for 2 years and my wife is a coffee freak and has determined they make the best coffee in the neighborhood.
Also I'm partial to the owners aesthetic - the branding is "Acid", and there are some funny references throughout the store including a photo from the Tim and Eric show.“

“I had the Taylor ham, egg, and cheese with hash browns on an everything bagel from DB Breakfast and wow, it was absolutely amazing. The sandwich was perfectly balanced: crispy hash browns, flavorful Taylor ham, and gooey melted cheese all stacked between a fresh, toasted everything bagel. Every bite was packed with flavor and satisfaction.

“Bluestone is a gold standard for brekkie fare on the UWS. While the service is spotty (definitely expect a long wait on weekends between 9-12:30 pm), and the menu has changed (why did they remove the folded eggs from the menu?), Bluestone has a friendly, cozy vibe. Waitstaff like Joseph are always welcoming and go out of their way to make sure their customers leave happy.

“This is a pleasant addition to town, and obviously quite popular. I only gave 2 stars for food because despite having a collection of 3 nondairy milks (75 cent upcharge not appreciated!) there is not a single food item a vegan or person with dairy issues can eat. Also, the only place you can sit and work on a device is the big table, which is usually full. Every other sitting area has tables that are the same height or lower than the chairs/stools so really not back friendly. Service is good and nice minimalist vibe-- will be back!
Response to owner: Regarding vegan pastries, if they are indeed vegan (dairy, egg, butter honey free) then why not label them as such or at least put up a little sign that says ask us about our vegan options?“

“We pulled off the highway for a coffee and stumbled upon this gem. The pastry menu is filled with unique items and great flavor combinations. I had the ube pan de sal and the Kashmir cardamom latte with oat milk. I absolutely love both! The location seemed surprising at first, it’s located in a larger office complex, but inside it feels comfortable with warm lighting and plenty of seating. They also sell records and prepared wraps and desserts. Check it out if you’re in the area! I will be sure to stop by next time I’m passing through.“

“Great coffee, We stopped at Roast’d coffee shop before heading to NYC, great experience; the pour over coffee was fantastic. Johan was quite friendly explaining different coffee beans as he roasted them and brews the coffee. I tried the espresso as well brewed from 3 different beans, very tasty. Now this is our favorite place to have coffee when traveling to NYC. We talked with local customers, so good vibes and recommendations. Awesome place if you love good coffee.“
