“I was excited to visit after so many good reviews. I have been at two locations and I have ordered 4 times overall, it is just OK, I am not impressed by the taste of the coffee, there are much better coffees around on UES in terms of the taste. Also, I do not trust their good rating anymore after I felt being kinda pushed to give the best reviews and immediately - I do not like that and I believe many people did it on the spot. I did not particularly liked the food/snacks, it was ok.“

“Went with wife and father. Wife had the Golden Cloud cold coffee was outstanding. I had the latte the flavor and temperature were perfect. My father had the Americano he said it was really good. My father and I had the Madeline which was excellent. The server was really efficient and friendly. The place is immaculately clean. If you want a relaxed place to drink coffee, this is a great place!

“Came here to get some work done and wasn’t disappointed. The service is really nice and accommodating. There’s limited seating but there was room on a late Friday morning and the seating was comfortable to sit for a few hours. I got the biscoff latte with oat milk since it was so recommended and it was pretty good. The espresso was good. The atmosphere was really cute and decorated in a comfy way (even the bathroom). It was pretty warm but they turned on the AC once they noticed.“

“Fantastic coffee! A refreshing change from standard blends that we get in the neighborhood. Their Sanani coffee is fantastic if you like cardamom. Yes, it is expensive - $7.90 for a medium cup, but totally worth it. You can sip it the entire day or share!

“Really cute spot and they are so nice. We ordered macarons (chocolate and raspberry) which were perfect and so delicious. We also got an almond and a Nutella croissant. I got their special strawberry matcha which came with strawberry/matcha cold foam which was light and refreshing. My bf ordered a dark mocha latte which he said was really good. We sat outside since the sun was finally out and warm and they brought everything beautifully plated.
The only thing is that parking can be a bit difficult since a lot of the street parking is taken out.“

“We pulled off the highway for a coffee and stumbled upon this gem. The pastry menu is filled with unique items and great flavor combinations. I had the ube pan de sal and the Kashmir cardamom latte with oat milk. I absolutely love both! The location seemed surprising at first, it’s located in a larger office complex, but inside it feels comfortable with warm lighting and plenty of seating. They also sell records and prepared wraps and desserts. Check it out if you’re in the area! I will be sure to stop by next time I’m passing through.“

“Solid State Coffee is my secret go-to after the American Museum of Natural History with kids. It can get crowded, but the line moves fast, which matters a lot when you’re operating on museum-level child energy.

If you're someone who appreciates slow coffee done right, Sote is absolutely worth the stop.“

The Barista’s Touch is a fantastic choice with fresh ideas and incredible tasting coffee beverages. The prices are competitive with other independent coffee shops in the area, but these guys are consistent in quality and ingenuity. They make some wild creations with and without coffee. They carry some fantastic local bakery specialties that Don just look delicious, but absolutely melt in your mouth. These folks are legit and I highly not just recommend but encourage you to stop by and pick up a cup of Java either hot or cold. I promise you won’t be disappointed and you’ll come back.“

“An unassuming neighborhood coffee shop that is actually sm more. They reallyyyyyy get it right with sourcing beans, making their own delicious syrups, providing cozy and friendly service. “Great coffee, We stopped at Roast’d coffee shop before heading to NYC, great experience; the pour over coffee was fantastic. Johan was quite friendly explaining different coffee beans as he roasted them and brews the coffee. I tried the espresso as well brewed from 3 different beans, very tasty. Now this is our favorite place to have coffee when traveling to NYC. We talked with local customers, so good vibes and recommendations. Awesome place if you love good coffee.“
