This place is one of the reasons I love NYC, the food is a perfect homage to Ethiopian roots while still maintaining the American palette. I only wish I tried more on the traditional menu
Quiet neighborhood spot with delicious food and a lovely vibe
Cafe Massawa is incredible! The food is delicious and really unique. Everything was perfect, but the tibs quesadilla was one of the best things I’ve eaten in a while. The coffee was amazing too, and the service, hospitality, and vibe were all 10/10. Can’t wait to come back!
