When I worked for Thomas J. Lipton in Englewood Cliffs, my co-workers and I went to Hiram's for lunch often. I plan on going very soon! I so love Hiram's for the food and it's longevity.“

This place did not disappoint and the high reviews left here are worth the hype. Ordered the spicy soy garlic + fries combo and it was deeeelicious. Fresh, hot, with the perfect amount of spice and the wings are bigger than what you'd get at a chain fried chicken restaurant. I also upgraded my fries to the truffle parmesean - truffle isnt as outstanding of a flavor but the parm was pretty good. The service is also so nice! After finishing a pretty tough three-hour moving job in Manhattan, I was walking back to my truck around 2:30 PM when I spotted Chelsea Papaya and decided to stop in because I had a serious craving for hot dogs.

I'm glad I did.

For just over $15, I got two hot dogs, french fries, and a nice-sized drink, which I thought was a great value considering the location in Manhattan. The place had that classic New York hot dog stand feel that reminded me of some of the papaya spots I used to visit years ago.

The staff was friendly, and I even got a chance to joke around a little with the guy at the register while waiting for my order. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded, the line moved quickly, and I was able to grab a small booth and relax for a few minutes after a long day of work.

After about a 10-minute wait, my food was ready, and I can honestly say it hit the spot. The hot dogs were delicious, the fries were fresh, and everything was made exactly the way I wanted it.

If you're looking for a quick, affordable bite to eat in the Chelsea area, I highly recommend stopping by Chelsea Papaya. Great food, fast service, and a classic New York experience.“

She really enjoyed it and said it was cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly, the owner, Mel, greeted us, took our order and chatted with us while our order was being prepared.
