“PIDDE DELICIOUS PLACE IN NEW JERSEY;
I’ve been living in the U.S. for 16 years, and the thing I’ve missed and loved the most is lahmacun. After trying it at PIDDE, I’ve never had lahmacun anywhere else again. At other places I’ve tried over the years, I always experienced heartburn afterward — but never at PIDDE.

It’s a place you can visit with your family and feel completely at ease. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.🙏“

“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“We passed by this restaurant last week on our way to Irish Rep Theater and decided to give it a try. What a wonderful find! It is a charming restaurant with an attractive open kitchen and nice counter to watch the action. Tables are well spaced and comfortable. From the moment we sat down our server, Milos, could not have been more hospitable. He knew the menu well and was helpful with suggestions on both food and wines. He was professional and efficient and welcoming. The food was outstanding. They have a happy hour with delicious oysters and a nice variety of spreads and other small plates. A meal could easily be made at happy hour. The food was beautifully plated and delicious and of note the sauteed shrimp were perfectly cooked. There is much more on the menu we would like to try. We will be returning with a larger party next time to share many delicious plates. A wonderful addition to our NYC favorite spots.“

“Yemeni Restaurant hit all the right spots — full 5 stars! The food was outstanding: tender, perfectly spiced mandi chicken, rich saltah stew, fresh haneeth lamb, and the best honey-drizzled malawah bread. Everything tasted homemade and full of flavor.
Service was warm and quick — friendly staff who explained the dishes and kept everything flowing smoothly. Atmosphere is cozy and casual: simple décor with welcoming vibes, great for a relaxed meal.

“Nice Mediterranean spot, might want a reservation as it is a bit small. Excellent dessert selections and pastries. We enjoyed the calamari, hummus, and the mixed grill and decided the lamb chops were the best part. All of it was delicious but I would order just lamb chops next time, the mixed grill is a nice way to try several meats. The hummus and pita were very good as was the calamari and the sauce it was served with was very nice as well.“

Every single staff member here is amazing. Franck is a ROCKSTAR and made our meal lovely.

In terms of food, the dip sampler platter was so good and came with endless bread. Patatas bravas, salad verde, and beef kebabs were all perfectly seasoned. The cocktails we had (Neon Lights and Amaro Sour) were both delicious.

We also had a food allergy (dairy free) in our group and staff was fantastic with helping us order and flagging any sauces she needed to avoid.“

“Amizigh Food Truck was hired for our company picnic and everyone loved the food! They had a staff of 3 friendly workers and the line moved fast. My waiter/bartendr Hector was absolutely fantastic- some of the best service I’ve ever had in NYC. I told him I was bummed since I was a solo diner and wanted to try so many things so he proceeded to get me a sample plate of the pastas and comped some of it just to let me try them all. He was also so attentive and friendly….so were the hosts and just the overall vibe was so good. Octopus and lemon pasta were BOMB. This place is awesome….highly recommend.“

“Dodona is a gem! The food is excellent authentic home made Albanian (Balkan) cuisine. Everything from burek to chevapi is perfect and the capuccino and deserts are made to match! Service (Lab) excellent and very friendly. If you are crossing the GW bridge it’s worth a detour.

“We either ordered the wrong things or it was an off night for this restaurant because our experience was nothing like what other reviewers say. Restaurant was so noisy that we had to shout to our table companions all evening. The imam bayaldi was oversalted and underflavored and pine nuts doled out as if they were diamonds. The shrimp was hard, dry, overcooked, oversalted and flavorless sitting on a bed of gloppy watery tomatoes. Half the lamb kabobs were ok and half were nothing but gristle. Servers were very pleasant, and helpful with wine selection but the wait for our dishes seemed interminable. What was good -- very good --the rice with the lamb kabobs, the rice pudding and the coffee. But too much money for bad (sorry, but that's what it was) food. As I said, maybe we ordered the wrong dishes or maybe it was just an off night.“
