“We went for dinner tonight, and what a hidden gem it was!! Don’t be fooled by “diner” in the name, this is a high-quality Italian restaurant that also happens to offer all your classic diner specialties, plus several pages of breakfast items.

I had the Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese, and it was excellent! The pieces of chicken cutlet were absolutely amazing. My dad had the meatloaf, and my mom had the pasta with broccoli, and everyone’s meals were delicious.

Everyone around us was raving about their food, too! I can’t wait to come back and try something else. Definitely a place worth checking out!“

“Excellent lobster roll. All knuckle and claw meat lightly tossed in mayo with a bit of celery in a delicious fluffy bun. Fairly priced considering the cost of lobster $32.

The grilled cheese for my daughter was also great. And my iced coffee too!“

“I got the cinnamon butter toast with fruit and it was great other than the random flavor of onion in parts of it. I think maybe the same knife was used after an onion to cut the banana in my meal. It’s not the end of the world but definitely took away from how good it could have been! The same flavor of onion traveled into the fruit cup which was just banana and blueberry.“

They were absolutely delicious as always and so unique for a wedding favor! So many guests asked us about our pop tarts the next day because they were so good! “I had my first visit to Birdy’s two years ago and became a fan on day one. The atmosphere is tranquil, something I savor, and the food is delicious. The avocado toast is a star, the lobster roll is filled with large pieces of lobster and the fresh lemonade hits the mark. My favorite is the BLT on sour dough bread- simple perfection. I have introduced Birdy’s to my daughters and we consider it our “go to” for a “ladies only “ brunch.“

“Great location near the bay - easy to bike to with bike racks out front. Great bakery items - we had the vanilla waffle and the chocolate croissant. Delicious! Great latte. Very nice people working there. No seating inside but good benches outside. Was a great spot to get your caffeine fix!“

“Okay, I think I officially found my new favorite spot. I went to Dolce Bagel for the first time on Tuesday and loved it so much that I was back again by Thursday. 😂

On Tuesday, I asked the girl at the counter for recommendations and she suggested the iced vanilla honey latte. I am NOT usually a honey person, so I probably never would have ordered it on my own, but I am SO glad I listened to her because it was honestly one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. I have been thinking about it ever since — hence why I was back two days later specifically for another one!

I also got an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese, which was amazing, and tried their lunch special — a gyro with such a fun twist. It was served on this delicious garlic ciabatta-style bread with broccoli rabe, fried onions, fried peppers and chipotle mayo. It had a little kick to it and was SO good. I never would have thought to make a gyro that way, but it worked perfectly. Definitely don’t overlook their lunch specials!

When I went back today, I got my new coffee obsession again and another everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. Their bagels are EXACTLY what you want a bagel to be — incredibly soft and chewy on the inside with the perfect texture and seasoning on the outside.

And I have to mention the cheesecake cones. Those things should actually be illegal. 😂 They are THAT good. If you see them, just get one. Don't even think about it.

Beyond how good the food and coffee are, the customer service is next level. Everyone is genuinely happy, friendly and willing to talk to you and make recommendations. You don’t feel rushed or like you’re bothering anyone — they actually seem to enjoy helping you find something you’ll love.

Two visits in three days and I’m officially a die-hard fan. 😂 I have a feeling Dolce Bagel is about to become a 2–3 times-a-week habit for me. Amazing food, AMAZING coffee, dangerously good cheesecake cones, and even better people. Cannot recommend this place enough!“
