“Filipina here living in Thailand who visited this place during an NYC vacation for the craving of Asian food. I personally enjoyed the food - we order green chicken curry and beef with broccoli. If you're an Asian looking for a taste of home, I think this is good enough and the bad reviews are coming from a lot of folks who didn't grow up eating food from Asia.“

“Got to tried many dishes tonight! Food quality is excellent as usual! We got the grilled pawns for appetizer, there were only two pieces but tasted phenomenal. We had crying tiger, duck green curry, steamed fish and crab omelette. Everything was really good and authentic. My husband and I were in Thailand last year and this place tasted just like what we had in Thailand. Def recommend!“

“We absolutely love this place. The food is very authentic. It’s a small location, but they do a great job of getting you your order relatively quickly. Everything is very delicious and some people were even waiting outside because of how good the food is. There were also a lot of delivery orders we could see your people coming for takeout. I highly recommend you trying this place. It can get very busy around dinner time so come before then or a little bit after like around 7:30 p.m..“

“I love the food, so far every dish I have tried has been excellent, seems like authentic Thai food as they say if many people from that country eats there it is a compliment to its authenticity.
The service from the workers especially Tang she helps me every time and is so courteous, friendly and helpful.
I am disabled and Tang is always attentive and helpful with entering exiting as well as when I order take she brings it out to my car to save me having to get out, all of this is so amazing and rare in a very busy city like New York.

“By far my favorite restaurant in the neighborhood. I’ve eaten there a few times now and each time is better than the last. Don’t sleep on their orange wines and definitely don’t sleep on the spicier dishes. For my money better than uncle boons / fish cheeks. So so so good! Also fantastic service always!“

“This place is simply amazing, the food is some of the best I've ever had and by far the best Thai food in the city. The dishes are tantalizing and unapologetically spicy and I wouldn't want it any other way. Having said that, coming here is a rare treat due to the sky high prices, that honestly feel unreasonable. The place is always packed so it seems no one else has an issue with dropping at least 30 bucks for a small, albeit amazing and memorable dish. Just based on the food, this place is 10/10, but the prices limit how often I can come back.“

Great food. I had noodles and vegetables with an amazing sauce. Mango desert with coconut sauce and yummy rice, fantastic!!! Joe might be your waiter and is kind and professional. “The food here is always worth it — I've never ordered something I didn't like and the portions are generous! I ordered the eggplant basil tofu, which had a bit of spice and lots of flavor. My friend ordered pad Thai and two Moscow mules — the best she's had in the area! The decor and ambiance is always impressive, although table seating on the first floor can feel tight. We got seated upstairs (my second time), and the only issue is that after you get your meal, service is slow — it almost feels like they forget about you.“

“One of the best , very authentic Thai place.
This is a tiny hole in the wall, street food kind of place.
I had their lemongrass chicken..it was delicious, you could taste the lemongrass on the chicken too .

We also has chicken satay, which was also quite delicious. This will probably become my regular Thai food eatery when I feel like eating Thai“

Before Mama opened this welcoming restaurant, she had a place nearby called Thai Sliders where I first became acquainted with this spectacular flavor/texture miracle. I usually order fancier fare when I sit down at Lil Chef Mama but I love these sliders for takeout. And each sandwich is much bigger and more generous than most sliders,so instead of lasting for only one meal, the two I recently took home lasted me for two glorious feasts. I'll go back soon for more--see you there!“

Dinner at IMM Thai Comfort Food was such a treat. The honey ginger ribs stole the show. The wings were crispy, saucy, and packed with flavor (the crunchy garlic + scallions were everything 🥹🔥). The crab rangoon were some of the best I’ve had, cheesy, creamy, and loaded with real crab. 🦀💛

The curry crab? Immaculate. We absolutely demolished it. The Khao Man Gai (tender poached chicken with rice) was a comforting classic …simple yet soulful, especially when eaten fresh. 🍗🍚 The Pad Thai leaned sweeter and nutty with the peanuts, not totally my vibe, but definitely still fresh and authentic.

Pairing it all with a crisp Thai beer just sealed the night. 🍺🌶️ Truly a cozy spot for when you’re craving bold flavors and comfort all on one table.“
