“Large restaurant with ample seating and booths, high tops and the bar. Great cocktail specials and the menu offered dishes ranging from pizza, pasta, and hamburgers to various Asian cuisine like chicken lettuce wraps and General Tso chicken. All very tasty. Only thing I can suggest is more of a dessert variety. Not everyone is a fan of cheesecake even if it's offered in 8 different ways. Looking forward to dining here again and trying some other tempting dishes on the menu.“

“A must try hidden gem in the neighborhood. Unique Belgian beers and stouts. Must try the Hercule Stout if you have beef of any kind. Don't underestimate the vegan seitan sandwich. “I was in Philly with my boss and a colleague for an industry event. They were asking for a place to go for a bite and a beer. I asked my daughter who is local for some recommendations and she recommended Good Dog Bar. There are many great restaurants in the center city area, but this one does a great job. At 6:30 on a Monday, the place was quite busy. We were able to get a booth. I didn't see any tables for large groups downstairs. Most of the bar area and tables were full when we started ordering. The beer selection is diverse and prices are reasonable. For my main dish, I had to try to vegan Philly Cheesesteak. You might say that this is quite blasphemous being in Philly and doing vegan. I'm not sure how they did it, but it was very tasty. They also have some awesome fries with it. As far as parking, find a lot or garage or it's better to use mass trans or bike.“

“Beautiful atmosphere! Great drinks and amazing food. Moonshine Philly is one of THE BEST places to dine.It is a 3 out of 5 from me for accessibility. They have a ramp to help you in the building, but the building is rather small. It's a small business so just be warned about coming here if you are used to wide open spaces for you and your wheelchair but my experience WAS STELLAR. The servers and staff are always friendly and always checking up on you. They really do go above and beyond.So yes technically its wheelchair accessible, I would recommend you bring your smaller mobility aids if you can/have them; but they truly try to make your stay no matter who you are a wonderful one.Vegetarian options: They have kindly labeled any vegan options!Dietary restrictions: They always ask how you'd like things cooked and feel free to ask to remove or add anything (add things costs extra sometimes)“

“Best little local pub just off Passyunk. We dropped our grandchildren off after having them over the weekend, and stopped here to grab a bite to eat and a cocktail before heading back to New Jersey. Roll was great, the cheese on the burger was melted perfectly, and overall the burger had a really unique flavor! The black and blue burger was super good too! “On my first ever visit to Philidelphia, I chose to try this place (the nachos looked good on the online menu). When I walked in, the place had an intriguing atmosphere. It was self seating - I didn't see the menus on the table, and the server noticed, so, he grabbed me one and brought over a water, before I even requested anything! I ordered the Nachos with the spicy (not hot, just flavored with spices) chicken - it was So good and the bowl was suitable for 2 or more to enjoy. The plating was intriguing! It was Delicious! While I was eating, the server made me feel welcome, joking that I wasn't the Only one who didn't notice the menus (another party that came in missed them, too!). I returned afew days later with my husband, had to show him some of the city and have him try the nachos - we both Inhaled them! Despite a Large party being there, the server came right over with waters, got our order and had it brought out quickly. We were impressed with the service, despite the large party. “Ten Stone is my favorite neighborhood bar for watching the Sixers games. The bartenders and the people at the bar are very friendly and knowledgeable Sixers fans. Despite the Sixers game being on the bartenders keep the drinks flowing. My glass never sat empty for long. When it comes to food, I'm a sucker for anything with truffles, so I love the truffle popcorn. The cheesesteak eggrolls are also a great rendition of that dish. Crispy outside and plenty of meat and cheese inside. The chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun is also good. The chicken needs to be a bit juicier to take it over the top. The gumbo is also a good dish that will keep you warm in the winter and remind you of New Orleans. Unfortunately, the mac & cheese is terrible. As long as you avoid that dish you will have a good time at Ten Stone. If you come during a Sixers game you never know when you might see me at the bar.“

“Came here for a quick beer and enjoyed this spot. It has the feeling of a dive , so if you aren’t into that, this isn’t the place for you. I had their Green Rock Lager which had an interesting taste of bananas, but for the price was much more interesting than a typical light beer. The person who made them now works at The Garage in Fishtown. This is a bar. You can have food delivered, as we watched many people do from DoorDash during our one afternoon here. They have great bartenders, and the prices are good, but if you want specialty cocktails, this is NOT the place for you. I wanted a lemon drop martini, and he almost laughed (lesson learned). It's a neighborhood bar with great people and a fun atmosphere.“

Also delicious, for my main course I ordered the salmon with mixed vegetables, rice & salmon. That too was good with generous portions. I had that with a bottle of Coors Light. I had it on draft the last time I was here. Both were equally enjoyable. For desert both times I had their peanut butter pie & a cup of coffee. If I wasn’t addicted to peanut butter, I would had tried another of their delicious desserts. So I heartily recommend this establishment & the tv’s with sports to watch was an added plus. They also provided me with complimentary popcorn when I sat down in their loft on the left as you walk in & seat yourself.“

“My son and I stopped in to watch at least the first half of the Eagles game because the snowstorm was coming and didn’t want to stay out too late. He had the chicken tenders and I had the garlic Parmesan buffalo wings. The service was great. the food was outstanding, and there were plenty of TVs to catch the game. “Nice Irish pub in South Philly. Went with my GF. I had the House burger which was delicious with onion rings (pictured). My gf had the Shepard's pie and she devoured a good chunk of it before I could take a photo. We shared the Bacon Mac and cheese as an appetizer.“

“Ya'll if I could give them a higher rating I would. First, the bartender was great he knew the food so well and explained what was the best. My partner and I are vegetarian and vegan and he was patient and very knowledgeable about how the food was cooked and tasted. We have tried a lot of veg food in Philly and typically it's pretty good . But, this one was by far the best bar food. Their Reuben was fucking phenomenal. I grew up eating meat and seriously this tasted liked home . They marinate it and smoke it like they would pastrami. The combination of all the ingredients were delicious. We also ordered the veggie burger and it we good and hardy. It was made with kasha root. The outer crisp added a great texture to it.“

“My last last review of Grace was in 2015 and it's time for an update. I've been here a few times in 2023 and this neighborhood bar has really stepped up its game. The service is now outstanding, with friendly bartenders who make you feel welcome and serve great cocktails. The fireside chat is my personal favorite cocktail. You can still get a great bacon cheeseburger here, called the Tavern burger, cooked to temperature with the bacon covered in a generous portion of melted cheese. The chicken tenders are the best in the city, and pair perfectly with a bourbon mayo. I will get them every time I come here. If you live close by, Grace Tavern should be the neighborhood bar you frequent.“

“Old school dive bar. Nothing fancy. Just a great time with a huge bar, video games, shuffleboard, popcorn machine and a back room for parties. The prices are still old school too! Don't sleep on the wings. They are the best around. The secret is to ask for them grilled!“
