“I am closing in on 40 and have been coming to this restaurant since I was a small child, some of my earliest memories are family dinners at Da Chen. The staff here are amazing— kind, attentive, helpful, and generous. Their house made duck sauce and crispy fried wonton chips ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD. Do not sleep on them if you only ever order take-out! You receive the crispy wonton chips with any soup order, but you have to ask for their homemade duck sauce on the side (costs like 25¢ iirc)!!! My favorite foods from here are: wonton soup, their complimentary jasmine tea, shrimp toast, beef & broccoli, sweet & sour chicken, general tso’s chicken, pork fried rice, and the bao bao platter (it’s such a fun treat eating this for dine-in). You will always receive the same quality service and food here, and somehow over the years it’s even gotten better! Da Chen is child-friendly and has high chairs available to use, and is wheelchair-accessible straight from the ample free parking lot and into the restaurant. Da Chen accepts cash, debit or credit. “I would like to share a bit of a positive thing that happened. I went to Classic Asia (AKA BEST PLACE EVER) and ordered take-out Shrimp Pho soup. When I got there, the woman (who is already so nice) told me they didn't accept AMEX cards. Unfortunately, I didn't have any cash on me. So I said, "okay I'll be right back, I'll go grab cash!" Her reply was " No no, don't worry about it. Next time you order just tell us it's you! I couldn't believe it. I was like HUH?! How is someone being this kind ?!? “I've tried all of the available chinese food options in the gibbstown-paulsboro area and this place is far and above the best of them. The portions are great and the food is always tasty. The prices for all of them were about the same, but this place doesn't charge a really high additional fee for using credit/debit to pay. If you want Chinese food in this area, this is the only place you should go to.“

“This is the best Chinese American food in Gloucester County. Most enjoy the crispy General Tso's chicken or the beef and broccoli, but so many locals turn to the wonton soup for comfort especially when sick. I highly recommend the beef chow ho fun because of the intense flavors from the hot fired wok. Service is excellent. I have noticed some that try to take advantage, but returning customers know that the restaurant always tries its best to keep diners happy. There is definitely a reason why it has won Best Chinese food in Washington Township numerous times.

When we checked in we had to call maintenance to have our safe unlocked and we got talking about a place for good Chinese food, and he recommended this place to us. Good choice we went over and found the place, did not look like much from the outside or inside, but we decided to try it. Glad we did, one of the only places down here where my husband can get Pepper Steak w/Onions.... Me, I went with chicken and broccoli. Both came with pork fried rice. Price was very reasonable for the amount of food that you got, only downfall is that they do not have much seating so we had to get it to go. Was plenty for lunch and we both had it the next day for breakfast heated up... Still was very good heated up. We will definitely return for take-out when in town.....“

They went up on prices, portions sized has gotten smaller, my order was wrong (which was corrected) but not before one of the workers tried to convince me to keep the wrong order. Then when I paid the girl at who works the front refused to give me my change. My food was good for the most part minus the fact my white rice was overdone and mushy to which I threw it out.
