“My son REALLY wanted a grinch meal, but we waited too long in the season to get one. He was visibly disappointed learning there were none. We ordered our food and made the best of it all. A few minutes after we got our food an employee came out with a pair of socks and a coffee cup they were able to find. It was so heartwarming and touching!!! “I stopped here the other day after a hike at the sourland nature preserve. They are not kidding when they say hidden! I must have drove past it three times. Upon entering I was greeted by a gentleman by the name of Faraz (I truly hope I'm not spelling or mispronouncing it) he was very friendly. Welcomed me to the cafe and could tell it was my first time. I took a few minutes, reviewed the menu and I ordered a delicious blueberry lemonade. While I was waiting, I asked the gentleman if he wouldn't mind I take a few pictures for my Google review. He said absolutely with great appreciation. As a small business owner, he knows how important of these reviews are and says they're a big part of his business, so naturally I was happy to oblige. It has a very laid-back and comfortable vibe to it. After a great place to sit, enjoy your caffeine, boost and catch up on some quiet time. My only wish is I didn't live so far away but it was well worth the trip. Customer that came in after me was also a first-timer and mentioned he was from Bayonne. I mentioned I was in West Orange so it was a pretty big hike for both of us. The manager was nice enough to offer me and the other gentleman. Since it was our first time one of their pastries. They get delivered fresh daily. Unfortunately, I didn't remember the bakery but the cinnamon bun he gave me was truly out there! The pastry was moist flavorful and you can tell the ingredients were good. It just didn't have a sugary sweet taste to it. When you're in Hillsboro area I would give them a try and even if you're not I can make a trip!“

“I love having a Dominican bakery so close. Everything we’ve had there has been FABULOUS!!! Honestly, some of the best coconut macaroons I have ever had and that includes ones I’ve had in DR. I had a coconut tree leches cake, and a strawberry short cake cup, which were both out of this world. The cold brew is so good, and the pumpkin sauce is on point. They’re also super friendly. Next time I need to try the pastelitos (empanadas).“

“Great coffee shop! Everything is organic in the shop. Love their cold brew Shandy, which you can customize with their various organic syrups throughout the entire year. Also their bacon breakfast sandwich and large crumble cookies (they have four or five different kinds) are to die for. And their organic lemonade is also awesome! And the barista’s know their stuff. I also like their grab and go organic sandwiches.“

“I would HIGHLY recommend visiting Kafen House if you like a quality pastry and great coffee. The customer service was amazing. The man helping us out took the time to answer our questions about the different pastry options. The Honey Pistachio Iced Latte…amazing! The Iced Americano…amazing! The pastry options we selected were OUTSTANDING!!! We were told the pastry items were made in the shop, and they tasted fresh. This is a place you must visit!“

2 had the breakfast Sami #1…. It was Huge, taste was on point!! So yummy. Highly recommend
The other ordered Waffles with bacon and eggs…. Eggs done perfect! Waffles were so crisp and soft it was steaming at the table.

Today, I used the restroom. It was very clean; however, there was no soap to wash my hands. The soap dispensers were empty and filled with water.

“I first came across Stirling & Co via the Long Hill Facebook group and was intrigued by the tacos - I thought this was just a breakfast/deli type of spot? We had to go check it out for ourselves when I needed a coffee fix. Jeff immediately made us feel like family and had the iPad out and ready to show off a wide range of dishes they were testing out, birria tacos included of course. He let us try his cold brew and refreshers and they were all so good! We got an order of tacos to go and they were amazing.

The real magic though was the second time we came back. I had to try going dairy free for my newborn and its been really challenging to find things to eat. I knew Stirling & Co would have something. Jeff and Nicole were so kind. They workshopped some ideas with me and we landed with blackened fish tacos with mango salsa. Nicole was SO on top of the dairy sensitivity too and made sure to double check everything with the cooks before it got to me. I really can't explain how much I appreciated them going above and beyond like this for me. I'm so excited to have them in town and I wish them so much success!“

“What a truly wonderful experience it was coming here. This nice young lady that works there was very polite. There was a bit of traffic building up in there behind me, but she was very patient with me as I surely took quite a while to order a few things for my family members. Everything was clean, and freshly organized. She even made sure to reassure me that the utensils were all cleaned properly because I tend to get a bit skeptical due to the possibility of cross contamination. The ice cream quality was great! Much better than most other places in this area. I never asked for that young lady’s name but she wore a lot of bracelets, and had black nails just like my daughter, which I complemented! I will be back in here for sure!

“came across this little gem while working in the area. Did a handy little google search & came across Tierra Mia. I am glad I tried it. The restaurant itself is large enough, very clean looking and visually pleasing. The waitress was very sweet and was on top of her service, without hovering. The food though…oh my goodness! I ordered the Compańado, with the bistec encebollado (steak w/onions), which came with white rice, black beans, egg salad, sweet plantains & fried egg. I paid what I would consider pricey for a lunch portion ($20), but that is not a complaint considering the portion & variety the dish offered. The size was generous and the flavor was deliciously on point. I highly recommend Tierra Mia for anyone in the area or anyone looking for delicious Spanish food!“

“We had a wonderful experience at Paris Baguette! We bought to go boxes of coffee for the staff at a local school. Eli and Sarah were so helpful preparing my order. Eli even helped me bring the coffee to my car. My kids and I went back later that day to grab some treats and everything was delicious. They even gave my kids a free hot chocolate! After I ordered, I made my way to the eating area, which was bright, airy and clean. Service was very fast and I had my (absolutely delicious) latte in just a couple minutes.

The cake prices are actually super reasonable for what you get as well. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you’ve got to come here. I wish I lived closer, because I would come here much more often! They do offer savory bites as well, which I’ll try next time 😋“

“The story goes... 30+ years ago, when my mother-in-law was getting driven to the hospital to deliver her son (aka my husband), she stopped at this Dunkin' for coffee & a bite to eat. And thats why my husband loves DD.

Which also explains why we are here on at least a weekly basis. Its on the busy part of River Rd, can be tricky to drive into, but at least has a parking lot. The place is small and fast, perfect for quick to-go pickup.

Staff is great. Last time I went, I ordered 2 donuts and she put 5 in a bag for me. I am not sure if its because it was a slowish day or because I look massively pregnant. Regardless I never turn down free calories!“
