“Very busy Great service (5 years ago) My new review is that customer service is the worse I have seen in years especially the last few Sundays. This is the first DD I walked out on. There were only 3 people in line and I was the first. Ten minutes later I just left. My last visit I ordered 2 iced coffees. Why put sugar and not liquid sugar. Minor errors like that tells a lot. “I stopped here the other day after a hike at the sourland nature preserve. They are not kidding when they say hidden! I must have drove past it three times. Upon entering I was greeted by a gentleman by the name of Faraz (I truly hope I'm not spelling or mispronouncing it) he was very friendly. Welcomed me to the cafe and could tell it was my first time. I took a few minutes, reviewed the menu and I ordered a delicious blueberry lemonade. While I was waiting, I asked the gentleman if he wouldn't mind I take a few pictures for my Google review. He said absolutely with great appreciation. As a small business owner, he knows how important of these reviews are and says they're a big part of his business, so naturally I was happy to oblige. It has a very laid-back and comfortable vibe to it. After a great place to sit, enjoy your caffeine, boost and catch up on some quiet time. My only wish is I didn't live so far away but it was well worth the trip. Customer that came in after me was also a first-timer and mentioned he was from Bayonne. I mentioned I was in West Orange so it was a pretty big hike for both of us. The manager was nice enough to offer me and the other gentleman. Since it was our first time one of their pastries. They get delivered fresh daily. Unfortunately, I didn't remember the bakery but the cinnamon bun he gave me was truly out there! The pastry was moist flavorful and you can tell the ingredients were good. It just didn't have a sugary sweet taste to it. When you're in Hillsboro area I would give them a try and even if you're not I can make a trip!“

“Great coffee shop! Everything is organic in the shop. Love their cold brew Shandy, which you can customize with their various organic syrups throughout the entire year. Also their bacon breakfast sandwich and large crumble cookies (they have four or five different kinds) are to die for. And their organic lemonade is also awesome! And the barista’s know their stuff. I also like their grab and go organic sandwiches.“

“A bright spot on some tough days - I was going back and forth visiting my dad at Princeton U. Hospital for a few weeks, and stopped here several times for coffee or breakfast. I drove in early from PA and appreciated that they opened at 6:30am. Rare to find such a homespun mom and pop type place these days- just really simple and cosy, and the pastries, sandwiches and coffee are excellent. They have a cute porch with a few seats, and a little bistro table under a nearby tree. It was the perfect place to have lunch on a nice day as a much-needed break from sitting in a hospital room.“

“I can't speak for the other reviewers who said the pho was bland or premade. Sounds like a hater to be honest! I really enjoyed my meals at V-Town and the woman who worked at the register was very nice and friendly. So here's my review from an uncultured American:

Dining Experience:
V-Town's aesthetic has some cute wall decorations and the latest point of sale technology for paying with card or cash. However, the tables and chairs are typical of chinese takeout places. So this isn't a place with super fancy decorations or mood lighting, it's functional with some music in the background, cool wall decorations, and of course you have to have the toy cat that waves.

There is not a lot of staff here, which makes it seem like this is a very small operation. But the people who are working there clearly work very hard.

The Food:
So, I actually discovered V-Town on Doordash and it was super cold out so I wanted something to warm me up. I got the pho with the well done flank steak. Once on doordash and when I went in person.

When you order the pho, all of your veggies will arrive on a separate plate. So, you can choose to add as much or as little as you want. In some other places like Bravo Pho in PA, I believe everything comes in the bowl all at once.

Regardless, the flavor of the broth was wonderful, warm. The flank steak was succulent, and the vegetables tasted fresh. For my wife, this was her first time trying Vietnamese food so I got her the Banh Mi sandwich.

She loved the freshness of the carrots and cucumbers and really enjoyed the flavor of the pork protein. Also, I did get a brown sugar boba tea which my wife kept stealing from me.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my meals from V-Town and look forward to introducing more friends and family to this place.“

Eli even helped me bring the coffee to my car. My kids and I went back later that day to grab some treats and everything was delicious. They even gave my kids a free hot chocolate! “What a truly wonderful experience it was coming here. This nice young lady that works there was very polite. There was a bit of traffic building up in there behind me, but she was very patient with me as I surely took quite a while to order a few things for my family members. Everything was clean, and freshly organized. She even made sure to reassure me that the utensils were all cleaned properly because I tend to get a bit skeptical due to the possibility of cross contamination. The ice cream quality was great! Much better than most other places in this area. I never asked for that young lady’s name but she wore a lot of bracelets, and had black nails just like my daughter, which I complemented! I will be back in here for sure!
