“Stopped in for an appetizer and a beer before heading home for the day. We arrived after they opened at 4 and there were a few people already there. The bartender was super friendly. We ordered some local beers (good variety on tap) $10 a beer, and an order of the bang bang shrimp. I am still thinking about them.....for $18 there was a good amount of shrimp, the sauce was perfect and the crispiness of the shrimp was the best I have ever had. We will definitely be back for the shrimp and will stay for dinner this time. They have two floors of outdoor seating as well which is blocked from the main road.“

“I have been going to Sonoma almost weekly for over a year now. It started off with taco Thursdays and their delicious margarita specials and has now turned into exploring every menu item possible. I am consistently impressed with the quality and taste of the food. Incredibly delicious every single time. I am gluten intolerant which can pose challenges. The kitchen and staff have been amazing In accommodating my food allergy. I highly recommend Sonoma on any day of the week. It very quickly became my favorite go-to restaurants.“

“I met a couple of my old coworkers there December 20th after 4 years. I wanted to go to a highly rated family-run place and this establishment didn't disappoint. The burgers, meatloaf and pita wraps were excellent. The owner Vinnie greeted us and seated us, then came by to chat with us. The server was attentive and seemed to like her job. About a 15 - 20 minute walk from the Harrison PATH station. I will be making future visits there with old collegues.“

“I had a private event in the Parlor Room and it was fabulous. Food and drinks were spot on and the service was dynamite. There were 21 of us all together and everyone was well cared for by server Lily and the rest of the awesome staff. I really love the unique atmosphere of the place -warm, classy and comfortable all at once. No boring old chain restaurant vibes here. Everyone had a great time. “Linwood Tap is one of the best spots around if you’re looking for a place to watch the game. The setup is perfect — TVs in every direction, great sight lines no matter where you sit, and a lively atmosphere that still feels comfortable. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in for a whole Football Sunday slate without ever missing a play.

The pizza is great too — crisp, flavorful, and way better than what you’d expect from a typical sports bar. The rest of the menu holds up well, the drinks are reasonably priced, and the staff keeps things moving even when it’s busy.

Whether you’re meeting friends, catching your favorite team, or just looking for a laid-back spot with good food and plenty of TVs, Linwood Tap nails it. Definitely one of the top game-day spots in the area.“

“Great little bar near the PATH Station in Harrison. Located in the rear side of the Element Hotel on Somerset Street. Very nice atmosphere, friendly crowd and very friendly service. Reasonably priced drinks and if you like there is some seating outside the bar when the weather cooperates. I found it a nice place to stop and have a drink or two. I’d recommend stopping in when you’re in the area. A nice addition to the newly renovated, and ongoing, Harrison Station area.“

“Decades ago, I ate at this location weekly when it was "Eddie's Long Bar". I visited Pour Abbey's a few times. The inside has been COMPLETELY changed for the better. The food is very good and the service excellent. I am not in the area often but will stop here when possible. Well Done!“

“Great food. Tiny place and if you go late on certain days you may not get a table. Staff is hit or miss. One day I witnessed three young girls working there standing behind the bar talking to each other and on their phones rather then tending to the customers. I do have to give support to the one young lady who eventually had to run the whole place herself till someone came to cover the bar. They should always have more than one person working the main dining area. If you want a good bar pie come here.“

The food was pretty great, we had a small bar pie that had good flavor and crunch, and the disco fries were awesome. They're curly fries, which is great. Good service too, basic tap list but the domestics are $3 all day every day?? Sign me up. Live music on Fridays too, would definitely go back.“

“I went to this place in a clutch. Wanted some food and a drink after a late show at NJPAC in Newark after midnight. It is bar food; jalapeño poppers, wings, burger, etc but very good. The bartender was courteous and despite it appeared most patrons were usuals, we were treated well being it was a first time for us there.“

“This establishment offers an interesting combination of American and Chinese food choices. They have a liquor license and bar seating.

We came seeking Chinese takeout, which exceeded our expectations. They offer combo platters, which would be perfect for lunch. Their egg rolls and fried rice are both excellent rivaling what I remember growing up in Queens. We tried the sesame chicken, which was good, featuring all white meat. Their eggplant in garlic sauce was fantastic, as was the egg foo young.

The restaurant was quite large and very clean. They had adequate seating and can accommodate large parties. The staff was friendly and the service efficient. The takeout was packaged extremely well.

We have found our new local Chinese restaurant and will be returning. Highly recommend.“

“Tankys is the spot! These people in the comments below complaining about it being unsafe just have nothing better to do. Other bars right down the block plays music just as loud and stays open just as late. Besides the one incident last year, there aren’t any brawls or fights that happen there. Most ppl that go there are regulars and know each other. To the ppl complaint about it being loud in open late, you have the power to move to another place you knew where you were moving to when you moved there tankys has been there my whole lifeThe drinks are strong and cheap, the vibe is chill, older crowd, when they have a DJ the music is good, u can bring food in, and they have a lil pool table and a parking lot. “Lit! Lit! Lit! Went for Sinful Saturday (brunch) which starts at 9am but decided to get there early afternoon (around 12pm). It started out a little slow but boy did it become packed! Good music, the food needs help, I had french fries and empanadas and the empanadas lacked flavor and needed salt. I think more food options would help, especially if you don't eat seafood.“

“Visited today with my mom and we left extremely satisfied! We ordered two burgers and two appetizers: clam strips (normal menu) and wings (daily special)

Burgers - Very juicy and tasty, thick half pound patties. Cheese was suitably melted, I added mushrooms to mine and they were nicely cooked as well. The fries were pretty lacking in salt, but that's nothing a little ketchup can't fix :)

Clam strips - Same idea as fried calamari, but with clam meat instead. Slightly different flavor but mostly the same thing, I liked it.

Wings - These were insanely flavorful and should go on the normal menu!! Juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and an incredible dry rub made from garlic and parmesan. I am a sucker for naked wings because I don't like any sauces so this was perfect for me!!!

Service and atmosphere - Very chill and casual bar&grill environment, our server was attentive and frequently checked on us. I got a refill on my iced tea after the burgers came.

Price - We spent $87 after tip. That's what happens when you load up on appetizers :)“
