“While there was a wait on a busy Sunday morning, it was to be expected with the restaurant being short-staffed according to posted signs. Once we were seated our waitress, Maria was quick and perfectly attentive. Our drinks were out quickly, and our order taken as soon as were we ready. For being short-staffed our food came up amazingly quick and it was absolutely done perfectly. Best omelet I've had at any IHOP I've been to before. Maria checked back and was quick to grab me a few needed items. The restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms. Every employee we encountered were friendly, even in the chaos of a busy Sunday morning they ran smoothly. I'd definitely visit my local IHOP more if they were run as well as this one was!“
“Seriously? How did I not know about this place before? I have been to Somers Point 30 times and just tried CJs for the first time today. By far the best breakfast joint we have ever been to. We will now be regulars. My kids have been talking about "the best breakfast ever" all day.“
“Great food! Especially love the pancakes. If I had one complaint, it’s about the home fries. They’re always dry and, in my opinion, not prepared properly. I prefer chopped up potatoes, fried in butter and slightly crispy. Not a small amount of dry hunks of potatoes. Gilchrist’s home fries need a complete overhaul. Still, I will be back!“
“This gem is a must! Country quaint & homey, offers delicious, fresh unique eats! They are very accommodating with their menu, adding something you may wish for. If they have it, you ask and the chef will make it happen! Pumpkin pancakes, yes, I can make that happen! Thin sliced French toast, not thick, yes, I can make that happen! Great menu selection & a sweet friendly staff team makes it a complete and memorable experience that make you want to return.Wheelchair accessibility: Available on entry however limited accessibility inside“
“Great atmosphere! Maria was fabulous!!! When you go into a place and it’s jam packed and everyone is friendly it’s a great indicator of what’s to come. So happy to have a chance to visit - eggs cooked perfectly! Service is exceptional here. A must visit for all!“
“I HAVE EATEN AT THIS RESTAURANT WHEN I LIVED IN VILLAGE GRAND NEAR THE HS! I MUST STATE THE EVERY STAFF MEMBER IS EXCEPTIONAL AND THEY ALWAYS REMEMBER THEIR. CUSTOMERS. THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD IS ALWAYS FRESH AND OF THE HIGHEST LEVEL! SINCE I HAVE MOVED TO LINWOOD, IT IS ONLY A 15 MINUTE DRIVE AND I MUST ALSO STATE THATEVEN THOUGH IT. IS NOT A UPSCALE ESTABLISHMENT THE WARMTH AND THE POSITIVE ATTITUDE AND THE CLEANLINESS IS SUPERIOR! IN MY HUMBLE OPINION, EVERY ASPECT OF THIS RESTAURANT RANKS *10 PLUS STARS*! I CAN STATE THAT MY FRIENDS, FAMILY AND ASSOCIATES ARE IN TOTAL AGREEMENT WITH ME!I MUST ADD THAT I HAVE DINED AT “TOWN &COUNTRY” FOR BREAKFAST, BRUNCH, LUNCH AND DINNER, AND THE MENU AND SPECIAL’S ARE REASONABLY PRICED AND VARYS ON YOUR TIME YOU EAT. SO THE AMOUNT OF YOUR MEAL REALLY DEPENDS ON WHEN YOU ARE GOING TO DINE!Parking: Large parking lot, secure and well lightedKid-friendliness: The menu has a wide selection of foods that is a parent with several children could easily find a delicious meal for young to teenagers!“
“I'm pretty much vegan at this point, so my go-to at breakfast places is home fries with spinach, mushrooms, and onions. Usually that means frozen spinach and canned mushrooms, but everything here was fresh and tasty. The server was very sweet and had no problem accommodating an off-the-menu order. The table windows look out onto a cute historic street, which is worth a little post-breakfast walk if the weather's nice and you have time.Dietary restrictions: For vegan diet -- not a ton of options, but they were very accommodating about adjusting menu items.“
