“I have eaten at Bakin Bagels countless times. Egg & cheese wraps are excellent (also get smoked salmon added). Coffee always very good. The bagels are fresh and delicious (usually get a mix of sesame, plain, and cinnamon raisin). We moved away-but every time in Maywood I stop here and Maywood Market. Mostly takeout-although there is a small counter inside. In nice weather there are a couple of small tables outside. Service always very friendly.”

“Every time I asked my co-workers to eat or order filipino food they're always wants me to order it with you guys. Food are great! Always delecious, only disappointed with the cashier/receptionist. Today we order our lunch with some halo2x and I asked for free soup (sinigang) which is posted on their Menu But she said(Wala na) means no more,to find out in the store that there's more. Please just be honest. I can pay for my own soup if you just tell me. Thanks!”

“I was about to place an order with this place since I've never tried them. I live locally once going through their menu online. I was shocked to see and I'm trying to figure out how they can charge $10.40 for an order of french fries. When you can go to Chick-fil-A and get fresh cut literally french fries a large fry for $4.25 just shocking the price along with other items on their menu like I'm missing something are these magic french fries maybe God cut these french fries buy hand maybe that's why they're so expensive. Oh well.I never ended up placing an order so I can't rate the food”

“Hidden GEM! We walked by and just liked the smells wafting out and so went in to lunch. The food was terrific! Absolutely wonderful! \n\nIt does not look fancy and someone might turn their nose up at the lack of decor but they would be missing out "by judging the book by the cover." So the not so fancy outside and unbelievably good food inside is what makes this a hidden gem!\n\nThen to top it off....the portions were large, the service excellent, and price was really good. \n\nI had the 1/4 chicken, black beans and rice with avocado salad....and it was really good. Chicken moist but well cooked and black beans beautifully seasoned. Even the rice was fluffy and tasty. (If you can make rice taste good, you are good restaurant!) Came with a soda.\n\nMy husband had the fish sandwich which he thought was excellent. The bread was great, had lettuce and tomato and sauce was excellent. Came with soup and soda.\n\nHere is the only negative. Woman at counter when we first came in was not welcoming at all. Seemed to us like she felt "bothered" by our presence. Which she no doubt was -- because after a minute we realized she was really busy with take out orders. We stayed anyway and she end up being glorious with great service to us and everyone else. So if that happens, take a breath and give her a shot. We were sure glad we did! \n\nThe place is just great! Had cute little table sitting in the windows almost. \n\nToo cute! Great Food! Great Portions! Great Service! for a Great Price!! Hurry and go to this place---it is going to be "discovered!"”

“Busy spot with quick and easy service. Fun range in cocktails, crab fried rice is delicious and they had pork cheeks (served with thai chili slices and ginger, which was perfect), which is one of my favorite appetizers.

Each dish had its own layer of perfection with unique flavors and exquisite presentation. I’d say a restaurant on its way to becoming Michelin…..bravo! “Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.”
