“On a whim on a chilly mid-morning Sunday in January my neighbor and I stopped in here for brunch. I had the biscuits and gravy special with potatoes and eggs, the service was impeccable. Coffee was excellent, and the dessert (apple blossom with vanilla gelato) was absolutely amazing. I definitely will be returning with wine for dinner in the near future. Definitely a hidden local gem!“

“I took my husband here on Friday for his first flight lesson. Wow, what an amazing experience he had. I enjoyed the pool and the bar while he was in flight. I heard the bands on the weekends are a lot of fun. It is extremely sad that the owners chose to form an LLC and turn this beautiful property into affordable housing units and townhomes. I came here back in the 80's with my parents. A lot of history and memories will be lost when this facility closes.“

Cost in the American average of restaurants (the real ones), 35$ risotto. Exorbitant espresso cost, very long but not bad, $6“

“The place itself was beautiful the host to the waitress was very friendly and didn’t mind a conversation. Everything was delicious to the appetizers to the courses. The only thing that wasn’t great was the NY stripe aged steak. I asked for it to be cooked medium rare but this was the worst chewy steak I ever had. I saved majority of it to see if I could fix it at home but no luck. Just not the best quality steak and was hoping it was due to grill being in the name. They only charged $8 bucks for that little dollop of butter on top of the steak. The best thing we had was the scallops they are to die for! They melt in your mouth and the flavor was fantastic. I would come again just wouldn’t get their steak again.“

“Yes, but make sure they get your order right, visited today for the first time in a while. My order (Stromboli) wasn’t correct but was acceptable…wife got a club, dry turkey and unevenly made. Manager took $4 off my Stromboli. Service was ok, we left disappointed in the food but not hungry…will be a while before we go back for another visit.“

“We just had our 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration at Marco's. Can't say enough about Lexi, who coordinated our event. She was so attentive to all our needs and made things so easy for us. The food was fantastic and I asked my guests and everyone raved about the food. Joe and his waitstaff were "The Best". Everything went so smoothly. Check them out. You won't be disappointed! “We got married here on 11/07/2025 and it was truly the best day. Sam, Marie and the whole team were spectacular. They made the planning process so easy. They were all very responsive, helpful and accommodating! The day of staff was simply amazing. I did not worry about a thing! The cocktail hour was the best!! My guests are still talking about it! The night was absolutely perfect. The grounds are beautiful and maintained perfectly. There are SOO many great spots for pictures. The Mansion was a fantastic place to get married!“

“I was having the hardest time finding somewhere with Eggs Benedict at 2pm. I told them I had little time and they got me seated and a waitress over to order immediately. Food came quick! The restaurant is clean and well kept. The staff were wonderful. The food was AWESOME. I’m not sure I’ve ever had a better eggs benedict . The servings are huge, I got a jersey boy with spinach and there was a ton of pork roll and spinach on it. Home fries were crispy. Adding this to the top of the breakfast spot list!“

They beat the cutlet butter cheese etc.. get with a side of balls or sausage.. I order this weekly and the consistency of this meal is like 96%

“Words of advice, read the menu BEFORE you come here because it's VERY, VERY long. It's actually too much. Food was delicious and portions are above average. Service was good and the restaurant was clean. But seriously, the menu should be shortened to the most popular items ordered. I was tempted to just tell the server what I wanted and let her figure out what menu item it was called. The extensive list of choices was too much for me. If you can't find something to eat in this place, you dont like food.“

The main meal was good although the steak was over cooked on both meals. All in all we enjoyed the experience and we give it a 5 star rating and look forward to coming back.“

“VERY,VERY BUSY PLACE. I was by myself because I was on a business trip first night which was Friday and could not get a seat at the bar. So I opted to come back the next evening and got a seat. The bartenders were very friendly and very knowledgeable of what they were serving. Joked around and had a good time and seemed like their jobs. I got a ribeye steak with mashed potatoes. Those cooked perfection even when I asked them to make sure the steak was dry. I can always tell what kind of meat facility serves when you don't put anything like steak, butter or spices on it. You should not have to do that. And I'm telling you that the steak was a very prime, a good grade of steak. Overall, that atmosphere was great. A little dark for my taste but that's what you get when you go to a place like this. If you're going to visit here, plan to make sure that you see that they're going to be on a wait no matter what. Can't wait to go back. In fact, I'll probably be the one in Florida in a few weeks“

“We dined here for the first time today. We were surprised how big this restaurant was inside and were seated right away at 12pm. We ordered breakfast items which are served all day. The portions were huge and omelette was delicious! I like how you had option of home fried potatoes or hash brown potatoes and they give you a choice of pancakes, toast or a muffin as your side!! My daughter loved her French toast and it was fluffy and cooked perfectly and was not made with those yellow egg beaters like some diners. The service was fast and we were in and out in 45 minutes! We will definitely be back again!“

“I went to the museum here — the New Jersey Air Victory Museum and then walked over to the cafe to get some food. It was pretty busy which surprised me as it was an extremely cold morning. I think it was about 11AM but I ordered a cheeseburger and fries anyway! Really good and nice portions. I also had a coffee. The service and food was great. Didn't see any planes take off or land but it was still fun and better than I expected. Next time I will try the cheesesteak.“

“Always a pleasant and relaxing place for brunch , today was no exception. Ben our server was attentive and efficient, friendly and helpful. Our food was delicious as always. My son had the Shaksuka which looked great and which he said was excellent and not overly spicy. I had one of my favorites, Power Grain Pancakes. They are huge and flavorful, 2 always leave me with leftovers. The omelets and lemon blueberry pancakes are also excellent. Don’t forget to get the French press coffee; today we had Ethiopian which was so good I drank it black.
