I am a little disappointed with some twisting they made even though I understand they need to make adjust to American customers' taste buds: Tomato paste is added in egg-tomato noddle; the crispy lamb chops are too oily/fatty.“

“I ordered General Tso's combination platter, Boneless Spare Ribs and Vegetable Lo Mein. The food was ready in less than 15 minutes. The lady on the phone was helpful when I ordered and clarified each item. I was there at 8:30 pm, the parking lot was pretty dark and most stores were closed on the strip mall where the store is located. There's a laundry mat and seafood restaurant on opposite sides on Mr China. Cars park along the sidewalk in the front of the stores to pick up their orders. Be careful pulling in and out. After I parked I witnessed a car pulling in as a mini van was pulling away from the curb, they b nearly collided.Parking lot hijinks aside, I recommend the food at this restaurant.“

“Been going there now for a few years and they never disappoint...From their general's chicken and orange chicken and chicken and beef with broccoli to their spare ribs hot and sour soup ..They have the most amazing pan fried dumplings with huge seasoned pieces of pork in them hands down the biggest and best Chinese dumplings I've ever had.Do yourself a favor and stop in and get any of the lunch specials or combo platters.“

“Hello China wok, I am the guy who orders the, General Tso's ☯️ Chicken 🐔 with no rice regularly. I decided to try your location because, my wife and I wash clothes in that location. I am a student of Martial Arts for many years and a Trenton firefighter, so I have a lot of respect for the Chinese people and the food. I had to see how well the food and business were in that location. Honestly, the cleanest Chinese Restaurant in the Area that I know of, Bathroom, Service and food 😋. Well done. Arrives hot when delivered. Good place. There’s another Chinese restaurant a block away but I like China Garden much more.“

“After our go-to place sold to new owners during covid, we had been struggling trying to find a Chinese spot that actually had good food....then we found Joyful Garden. We have ordered more items than we normally do just to try out different things amd everything has been excellent. The only thing that wasn't a hit with my husband was the honey wings....he didn't care for the sauce on the wings and texture of the wings. Otherwise this place has great food, at great prices. You have to try it out!“

“China Chen is the best Chinese take-out restaurant in this area. I try to come here at least once or twice a month. It is in a little food court inside the Forrestal Village (across from the now-closed down Salt Creek Grille). I like their beef and broccoli, fried rice, bourbon chicken and pork egg rolls the best. The service is always quick and the prices are very good. There is seating inside the food court and outside as well. Everything is made to order (the food is not sitting out) and is fresh and hot. The service is friendly and quick. There's a PF Chang's further down which I do not recommend (their prices are too high and their quality is very poor). Wegmans used to have excellent Chinese food, but not for the last 10 years or so. This is truly the best place in the area. Also, China Chen takes credit cards and there is no service charge to use your card and they do not have a tip jar out (I know a lot of people hate that).“

But if you notice the dishes they prepare aren't Chinese food it's American food just cook their way and the texture is great. The chicken is crispy and the beef fried rice is good as well I also love the shrimp and broccoli ?? general tso chicken with yellow fried rice. the ribs isn't up to my standard .really haven try any other dishes yet but next order I'll try the egg foo young . “I did an order delivery tonight and it's probably enough for three or four nights. I ordered directly from the store..The delivery came within 30 minutes and the lady I spoke to to make the order was very nice before that. I got some steamed chicken dishes with sauce on the side. I asked for brown rice instead of white rice and it was only a dollar per serving. I also got pork with snow peas and it came perfectly beautifully steamed even though i didn't specify that but it's exactly how I like it. Also lo mein as well. All of this with delivery fee and tip totalled about 60 or $65. And the food tastes just great. I am so happy I ordered from them and this is the second time I did so and had forgotten about them for a while. I rate this as the best Chinese delivery food in the area.

Be careful as it has bones but it was unbelievably delicious, a flavor and texture that was so unique. So the next day we got their liver, fish and a soup. Simply delicious. Could not stop eating.The staff are great but do not speak english and their online menu is also unclear. Its best to get the printed menu. We are so excited to try all their other dishes. “We went to Lotus Garden a month ago and went again tonight, and it was just as perfect the second visit. We ordered the pan fried meat dumplings and the rice cakes Shanghai style. The dumplings were the best I have ever had. The wrapper was home made and deliciously chewy, the meat was juicy and flavorful, and the sauce that came with it was incredible. The rice cakes were out of this world good. If you’ve never had Asian rice cakes before, they are like a bouncy chewy rice noodle, the texture is similar to a firm mochi. The texture of the rice cakes at Lotus Garden are perfection. The sauce was extremely flavorful, salty, umami, sour, and sweet all at the same time. It came with shrimp, pork, cabbage, and shiitake mushrooms, all of which were delicious. The waiter was very attentive and funny.
