“This was our first foray into the Asian inspired chain of P.F. Chang's. While we have seen it many times on our travels, we decided to give it a shot for date night. We dressed up in our finest threads and headed out to experience elevated foods from the Far East. Upon entering we noticed one thing first: we were not dressed appropriately. Everyone was just wearing regular clothes, like they were at McDonald's. This was cool, and now we knew how to dress for next time, it just wasn't what we expected. The second thing we noticed was that service staff was very young. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but we could tell experience was lacking. For instance, we needed to wait for appetizer sharing plates after the appetizers arrived. We also were not checked on for quite sometime after the food arrived; plates and silverware were falling all around us, but with all of this happening the staff was at least very courteous.Thirdly, we were very happy with the atmosphere of the restaurant. It was nicely themed and lots to look at.Lastly, the food was actually quite good, better than expected. Nothing we ordered was lacking in flavor. We enjoyed the leftovers the following day, and it tasted even better. The drinks (cocktails) were very sweet tasting, but lacking in alcohol. I mean it was there, but we felt just a touch more would have made it an actual good drink. We will definitely be visiting again.Vegetarian options: Tofu options.“

“Food is amazing at Godavari. We have been there several times with the friends and family. Neelima who works there is very helpful. From helping us to choose the best dishes in the restaurant her service is excellent. Every time we are there we always look for her. Great work “

“This place is so good. The food was well flavored and the spice wasn't overwhelming. The lamb was so tender and the dumplings were perfect. I will definetly travel back to eat here again.Be forewarned it is a small place so be prepared to stand and wait at the entrance but again totally worth it.Parking: Parking garage is just past the restaurant. Street parking is horrible“

“Traveling for work, had a hankering for some good sushi and found Le Dish on Yelp. The outside is a bit unassuming in a small retail center. The staff greeted me upon entering and seated me promptly. The room was clean, a little too bright, and nicely decorated. The tea, soup, hot mustard and Cowboy Roll was all very tasty and beautifully presented.“

“One of the best places to eat delicious Asian cuisine. They serve a mix of different Asian cuisines. Serving size is really big and their service is great. Helpful and accommodating staff. We loved their shrimp roll, Thai basil fried rice. Their juices are fresh and refreshing.“

“I ordered General Tso's combination platter, Boneless Spare Ribs and Vegetable Lo Mein. The food was ready in less than 15 minutes. The lady on the phone was helpful when I ordered and clarified each item. I was there at 8:30 pm, the parking lot was pretty dark and most stores were closed on the strip mall where the store is located. There's a laundry mat and seafood restaurant on opposite sides on Mr China. Cars park along the sidewalk in the front of the stores to pick up their orders. Be careful pulling in and out. After I parked I witnessed a car pulling in as a mini van was pulling away from the curb, they b nearly collided.Parking lot hijinks aside, I recommend the food at this restaurant.“

“Shanghai Bun in West Windsor offers a decent dining experience for those craving authentic Chinese cuisine. During a recent lunch outing with my son, we sampled a variety of dishes including pork soup dumplings, wine chicken (served at room temperature), spicy beef noodle soup, and pan-fried chive buns. The standout dish of the day was definitely the spicy beef noodle soup, which delivered bold flavors and just the right amount of spice to tantalize the taste buds. The pork soup dumplings and pan-fried chive buns were also enjoyable, meeting our expectations in terms of taste and quality. In terms of service, we found the staff to be attentive and accommodating, ensuring that our needs were promptly met throughout the meal. While Shanghai Bun may not be for everyone, it delivers solid food and service that are in line with expectations. Overall, it's a decent option for a casual lunch, and I wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.“

“This was our first order from this restaurant, and everything was just wonderful! Food was delicious with large portions; the soup was chock- full of goodies, almost solid, with tasty broth, too. The delivery was prompt and included many packets of duck sauce, soy sauce and even hot sauce! This restaurant is our go-to from now on!“

“A great place for dinner out, in a quiet and relaxing location. The service is outstanding: quick, attentive, and friendly. All of the food that we ordered was both fresh and well prepared- you can even watch your sushi being prepared. Would definitely recommend the Philadelphia Roll or the Dynamite Roll. The Scallion Pancakes were also divine.“

“I've tried several places in the area and this one is the best. Food is great and the homemade tea is amazing. The beef lo mein and beef fried tasted really good. The bones ribs with pork fried rice is good as well. We also had broccoli with garlic sauce which is amazing.“

“Such a fun spot for dinner out with friends or family! Service is speedy and helpful, while the ambiance is pretty quiet. They have an expansive menu to fit any craving. I’d most highly recommend the Dragon’s Beard and Pork Dumplings. The Sticky Rice Balls for dessert were also delicious. It can be a bit pricey, as it’s unfortunately not all-you-can-eat. Nonetheless, would come again!“

“Take out only, no ambiance...best fried rice in the area, especially the pork fried rice which is tasty and not greasy at a competitive cost! Five stars knocked down due to deceptive pricing... beware they somehow always end up charging a bit more than the menu price even for a cash transaction!“
“I enjoy getting take out. This place meets our expectations for Chinese food take out, and is typical for this area. I appreciate that this is a family run place, with their kids learning too. We have tried other places in the area and keep coming back here. Very convenient location for us too.“
“Discovered this hidden gem. If you are looking for a unique quality experience with Chinese food this is the an amazing food place. Tried them out two days ago by ordering their Dry Chicken dish. Be careful as it has bones but it was unbelievably delicious, a flavor and texture that was so unique. So the next day we got their liver, fish and a soup. Simply delicious. Could not stop eating. The staff are great but do not speak english and their online menu is also unclear. Its best to get the printed menu. We are so excited to try all their other dishes. Also, it's takeout only.If you are used to regular american-chinese fare then this is not the place for you. If you love to experience exotic flavors then have fun.“
“I just love there food , tbh at night if your not from the area it looks a bit sketchy but overall it’s safe enough to go get food this might be the cheapest Chinese food in Trenton what ever you need she got it , wraps , tobacco products socks , AirPods etc she got it love this “

“After our go-to place sold to new owners during covid, we had been struggling trying to find a Chinese spot that actually had good food....then we found Joyful Garden. We have ordered more items than we normally do just to try out different things amd everything has been excellent. The only thing that wasn't a hit with my husband was the honey wings....he didn't care for the sauce on the wings and texture of the wings. Otherwise this place has great food, at great prices. You have to try it out!“

“The food was amazing. Seriously. It's underrated. The ingredients were fresh. The flavors on point. And the food was cooked well. Definitely will be back. What a pleasant surprise. Because I picked the restaurant if the food was bad one my partners was gonna verbalize their dissatisfaction with my choice. Whew! Even the picky one is pleased! Thank the gods“

“hard to find a good american-chinese restaurant that isn’t over priced and tastes bad. first time ordering from Cheng’s and won’t be my last! got the chicken fried rice, perfect amount of chicken, not so much that it’s just straight chicken ??. also the sweet and sour chicken with the sauce on the side, the chicken is super tender! also the breading is nice and crispy and light, not too doughy. the broccoli garlic is classic, not too spicy but still flavorful. we placed a pick up order through the phone and the woman who took our order was very nice and easy to understand. we received everything in our order and it was hot and fresh. if you’re new to the princeton area and want classic comfort chinese food, skip tiger noodles and order from Cheng’s Kitchen????“

“I did an order delivery tonight and it's probably enough for three or four nights. I ordered directly from the store..The delivery came within 30 minutes and the lady I spoke to to make the order was very nice before that. I got some steamed chicken dishes with sauce on the side. I asked for brown rice instead of white rice and it was only a dollar per serving. I also got pork with snow peas and it came perfectly beautifully steamed even though i didn't specify that but it's exactly how I like it. Also lo mein as well. All of this with delivery fee and tip totalled about 60 or $65. And the food tastes just great. I am so happy I ordered from them and this is the second time I did so and had forgotten about them for a while. I rate this as the best Chinese delivery food in the area.Dietary restrictions: They have great steamed dishes with sauce on the side and no added salt or oil.“

“Went here for dinner. Expansive menu, featuring some incredible food. Pork Belly with Bok Choy was outstanding and I’d highly recommend the Sesame Rice Balls for dessert. Service is timely, although sometimes inattentive. Ambiance is quiet and pretty relaxing. On the whole, would recommend!“

“I have been ordering from China Garden since I was a resident nearby in 2017 and I still order from them after moving to another part of Trenton in 2019. Food is good. Service is fairly quick. Arrives hot when delivered. Good place. There’s another Chinese restaurant a block away but I like China Garden much more.“

“Actually there's some printing errors in this Yelp App. No Delivery at all plus only payment towards every food sales are Cash Only ! The Spring Roll with the rice paper wrappings are no longer available and Vietnamese and Malaysian dishes ,are no longer available ! Love their Fried Rice , Lo Mein and etc .“
“Quick friendly service, tasty food, good price, large portions. A take out spot, but they do have one big table that I was able to sit at the eat some before getting back on the road. I had the sweet and sour chicken combo.Edit Feb 2023: I ended up moving just down the street from here, and this is my FAVORITE restaurant at now. The crab rangoons are the best. The family running it is great. The woman at the counter is always so friendly and helpful. Thanks!“

“This is an excellent place if you are looking for decent Chinese take-out on any given day, especially around princeton Junction. The service is extremely nice and your questions about the dishes are answered politely. The food is reasonably priced and has decent quality, at times a bit oily in my opinion, but you can always let them know upfront how you want it. I would recommend this place.“

“A really underrated local Chinese buffet, Good consistent food for the price I am chinese and have gone to much bigger and fancier Chinese buffet all over New Jersey, but still enjoy eating here every time. “We've had food delivered from here twice. The first we had noodles and they knocked it out of the park. The second time we had garlic sauce chicken and it was not the best tasting item they had one the menu. I definitely like them but wouldn't have this item again. They are fast, have good portions of food, and good tasting food. They don't do deliveries unless it's done through an ordering app. I've never actually been to the place physically so I can't speak on that, definitely recommend it for lunch or dinner take out. Ohh before I forget they have lunch and dinner specials so definitely check those out!“

“This place was really busy, which was a GREAT sign! I tried this restaurant out today for the 1st time and really enjoyed the freshness of the rice and fried Plantains. The pork fried rice was nicely balanced and not salty- just right. The chicken and broccoli was absolutely fresh with a balanced crunch on the veggies and nice chunks of chicken. I also ordered half a fried chicken and a chicken lo-mein for the family and they loved it. There's parking available with about 4 spaces including1 handicap parking spot (awesome). The customer service was actually pretty decent. When you're craving Chinese food, check this place out.“

“It was a good portion for the price. I liked the chicken with broccoli, and my nephew enjoys their vegetable udon noodle soup (substituting the mushrooms for tofu at no additional cost which is great). I also ordered a small stir fry udon with veggies which was okay, but a little too greasy. I'd be willing to try other items another time.“

“This was my favorite Chinese restaurant growing up and whenever I visit central NJ, I make it a point to stop by. Located at the end of the McCaffreys plaza which has gone through so many changes over the past 20 years, this is one of the few places that has withstood the test of time. When I lived in the area I used to order take out every other week. Their broccoli & tofu and fried rice dishes always stood out to me. Occasionally I'd venture out and try some others but these were always my favorite. As you might expect that after so many years the management has changed. I used to know the old owners very well and they always were polite to greet me. I moved away when the new ownership took place but one women by the front desk does still recognize me. I do think the food quality has somewhat declined compared to the early 2000's under the old management. Main issue is that the dishes are way more oversauced than they used to be or need to be, which I'm never a fan of. However, I will say the fried rice is still as good as I remember it to be. Service is about what you'd expect for a local Chinese take-out shop, though the ambience is better than most competitors for what that is worth. I'll keep visiting whenever I'm in the area, it just holds too many memories for me.“

“The food is Good, better than most chinese take-out but their food is very expensive compared to the rest. They charged me $70 for (L) Pork fried rice, (L) Rib Tips, (L) low mein, chicken wings, (L) Soup and 2L Soda. I’ve ordered the same at several other restaurants for about $55. Definitely overpriced.“

“I go every Friday and get the Double Pork dish. It is amazing!!! The ingredients are so fresh and it's a lot of food. I'm a big eater and I can't eat it in one sitting. I make two meals out of it. Considering the quality and quantity, the price is a bargain. I will be a lifelong customer.“

“How is it possible after living here for eight years we were never aware of the Szechuan House. Finally, finding a good consistent Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood one that has quite a large menu so I won't get bored quickly . This was our first visit, and the fact that they were willing to make a change to a dish right off the bat and not charge us extra which I was willing to speak volumes about the food preparation. They actually want to make the dish from scratch so it could've been any sauce any vegetables that we wanted . My wife started off with a traditional small wonton soup. I start off with a traditional egg drop soup and we shared two dishes. One was beef in a brown sauce with black mushroom and asparagus, and the other shrimp in a black bean sauce, to which we asked them to do half shrimp and half scallops. Both dishes very fresh really nice flavor. Nice presentation certainly was filling. It's a BYOB and would also helps us is that other Chinese families were enjoying dinner the same time that we were there so it's nice to know that local place is frequented by the residence by the big parking lot and they take credit cards very very sweet staff very caring“
