“Private party in traditional presentation of a Kamayan feast (max 35 persons) for my milestone birthday. You meet with Chef Maricel herself to plan the menu and set-up (seating, music, and service). She was very accommodating for one guest who is allergic to soy sauce — a staple ingredient in Asian cooking. She prepared a separate meal for him. She made all my favorite Filipino dishes including Lechon (the best I’ve eaten!), grilled chicken inasal, fried tilapia, chicken adobo, and beef Caldereta (my husband’s favorite). I also recommend her crispy shrimp balls as an appetizer and pancit molo soup. Chef Maricel came out to present the Lechon and explained its significance in Filipino celebrations. The succulent pork and crackling were then added to the other dishes laid out on banana leaves. Dessert included turon and leche flan. The mango birthday cake was beautiful and delicious. We chose their beverage package that included non-alcoholic sangria, soda, coffee and hot tea. BYOB: Guests added pinot Grigio or prosecco to their glasses of sangria. Maricel’s Kitchen is a restaurant on the weekends and a cooking studio during the week where she teaches classes live on YouTube. The studio’s computer equipment set-up provided an opp for my family to project a slide show of photos from my life that guests watched during dinner. Our daughter led 3 birthday games between dinner and dessert where Chef Maricel’s cookbook and gift cards were the prizes. She signed each cookbook. Such a memorable evening!“

“I surprised my wife for valentines and brought tickets to the valentines dinner and dance 💃 party. This was our first time here and let me tell you it was better than I expected it to be. It was decorated for Valentines from the ceiling to the tables. The service kept coming around to the tables with hors d’oeuvres and the open bar was top shelf liquor. The food was too die for. The coffee and desserts 🍮 and ice cream sundaes were crazy. And don’t let me forget the DJ playing some great music. We can’t wait to go back.“

“We had a wonderful experience with Angelo and Creative Catering for our company garden party in July 2026.

What really stood out from the very beginning was the personal attention and initiative. I contacted several caterers and explained that, as someone who doesn’t regularly plan events, I had no idea what quantities would be appropriate for around 25 guests. Rather than simply sending me a standard menu or asking me to select items myself, Angelo was the only caterer who took the time to put together a complete buffet proposal tailored to our event, including beverages. That was ultimately the deciding factor in choosing Creative Catering.

Delivery, setup, and pickup the following day made everything incredibly convenient for us as hosts and took a lot of stress out of the event. When we realized at short notice that our own buffet tables would not provide enough space, Angelo and his team even provided an additional table for us.

Last night, we had our school’s end of the year celebration at 286 South. Joe and Vin treated us like family. We were given the back room, which was perfect for the amount of people we had. Bartenders and servers were great, very attentive. The food was over the top. It was so delicious. We had the penne vodka, chicken franchaise and eggplant rollitinI… people went up for seconds and thirds. So yummy!!!! We are definitely coming back next year!“

“I ordered catering for a birthday party for the first time from Jersey Joe’s, based on a recommendation of a friend of my sons who had food from them for a graduation party The food, the service and answering questions quickly made my party a success. The food was great, several of my guests asked where did I get the food from and wrote down their website. The Brisket, pulled pork, mac and cheese were big hits!! And the ribs were spectacular.
I will definitely use their catering again for another party. Don’t doubt using them as their food was excellent and the delivery service was excellent as well. Thank you to Cindy for handling my catering order and answering my questions.
