“Nice gem in Montclair. I stopped in for pistachio flavored gelato after dinner at a restaurant nearby. The flavor was amazing and there were other options to choose from in addition to coffee. There are tables inside and outside to sit at. I look forward to coming back to try other flavors and treats on the menu.“

Ice cream is exceptional compared to store bought pints. Graham Central and orange pineapple are unique and tasty to the point we’ve gotten entire birthday cakes with those flavors.“

“The female manager was very nasty to two employees when I was there. She told one of them loud enough for everyone inside the restaurant to hear that he had two strikes and she would send him home and then turned to another worker and said that she was going home too. Wtf, the food was good but that woman needs to go back to the handbook and look at how to speak to employees when patrons are around. I was very uncomfortable and not sure I’ll be back. That is not the way to treat others.“

“Received the most amazing surprise birthday cake from SJ! It was as delicious as it was beautiful! This is our third time ordering from SJ, and each time it has been better than the last! I cannot recommend using them for any baked needs you have! We have gotten the chocolate cake with Oreo filling twice and there’s never any cake left! Everyone loves it! “it was a gorgeous day and we were at Brookdale Dog Park. We looked up dog friendly restaurants. What a great place the food was awesome, the beers were cold and the service was excellent. The prices were so reasonable which is rare in Montclair! and they were so dog friendly! it was our first time there but not the last!“

“Terrific and nostalgic fare. Got Turkey club for my meal with their delicious French fries. The sandwich was good enough to conquer my hunger and I only ate half. Took home the leftovers. My husband had the classic burger with French fries and it was huge and cooked to perfection. He said it was juicy and full of flavor with all the toppings. We both liked that the French fries came in a metal cup container because it kept the temperature longer which allowed us to eat them warm. I chose the green tea iced tea and thought it was perfectly not too sweet. Hubby got plain iced tea and it was unsweetened and terrific too. Prices are comparable to the area with tip just under $60.“

“BEST bagel shop in Montclair! There's always a line but it's well worth the wait (I usually call in an order to save time). One of my go to's is their scallion and lox omelette but I also love their selection of flavored cream cheeses and attention to detail like coffee ice cubes in their iced coffee. They've got a wide selection of lunch options as well, 10/10 would recommend.“

“Drove over an hour to visit and it did not disappoint! It’s hard to find a full gluten free establishment and they completely nailed it! The 1/2 yardbird pieces were deliciously crunchy and seasoned. The crispy chicken sandwich was amazing! The ‘naughty’ waffle fries were a fun twist to the ordinary waffle fries. Fried pickle spears were so tasty. OMG and cannot forget the cornbread! The cornbread was the size of a mega muffin and so flavorful! Huge bonus… GF beer on draft!!“

“Was a great morning at Montclair Diner. Enjoyed the last day of summer Jazz and a lively brunch and enjoyed the sultry, soothing voice of Ms. Jacque Johnson and the band that accompanied her. I met the owner Elliot, who was very warm and welcoming. A great experience all around.“
