Not only was our food vivacious, extraordinary, and a religious experience for the palate — our server, Sam, was nothing but helpful and attentive throughout our entire meal. He was incredibly inviting and warm (this guy should do stand up) and our experience would not have been the same without him. Now for the food. The flavors… where do I even begin? Rich. Luxurious. Multi-faceted. Whether it’s a poke bowl or a shrimp tempura roll you are guaranteed a transformative experience. When eating here, be ready for excellence. No joke. 11/10 will be coming back. “Was going thru Grubhub for wings and came across this place. I said how bad can it be. Wow I was surprised and disappointed. Disappointed that they didn’t have popcorn chicken but substituted for wings. They were amazing .not greasy at all. Very impressed. Will definitely go again. Flavor was very authentic Middle Eastern in both the shawarma and pickles. I also had their fattoush which was very good. 2 people can easily be served from both the shawarma and fattoush! “First time at Chip City, and it did not disappoint! The store was very clean, and the staff was super friendly. I didn’t even realize they sell ice cream. I got the sea salt caramel, and it was amazing. I also got the 3-cookie box for $12.99. I forgot to take pictures, but the cookies are huge, soft, and delicious. Definitely coming back!“

“Absolutely LOVE Applegates! Its a NE NJ staple! Been going here for years, as an MSU alum, and now that my friend lives relatively close, we always make it a point to get ice cream, year round! Yes its open all year! They let you sample new flavors, and dont skimp on the portions. All homemade!! Plenty of parking however during peak times it might be really hard to park, so go early and frequently. A MUST FOR ICE CREAM LOVERS!“

“Terrific and nostalgic fare. Got Turkey club for my meal with their delicious French fries. The sandwich was good enough to conquer my hunger and I only ate half. Took home the leftovers. My husband had the classic burger with French fries and it was huge and cooked to perfection. He said it was juicy and full of flavor with all the toppings. We both liked that the French fries came in a metal cup container because it kept the temperature longer which allowed us to eat them warm. I chose the green tea iced tea and thought it was perfectly not too sweet. Hubby got plain iced tea and it was unsweetened and terrific too. Prices are comparable to the area with tip just under $60.“

“The female manager was very nasty to two employees when I was there. She told one of them loud enough for everyone inside the restaurant to hear that he had two strikes and she would send him home and then turned to another worker and said that she was going home too. Wtf, the food was good but that woman needs to go back to the handbook and look at how to speak to employees when patrons are around. I was very uncomfortable and not sure I’ll be back. That is not the way to treat others.“

The prices were so reasonable which is rare in Montclair! and they were so dog friendly! it was our first time there but not the last!“

“Was a great morning at Montclair Diner. Enjoyed the last day of summer Jazz and a lively brunch and enjoyed the sultry, soothing voice of Ms. Jacque Johnson and the band that accompanied her. I met the owner Elliot, who was very warm and welcoming. A great experience all around.“

There is one thing I don’t like about this place their parking if for whatever reason you do not have or missed or can not used your phone to pay for the parking instead of a$6 parking space you’ll get a ticket from this private company the owner of this parking lot and they send you a $104 fee insanely high !! Taking advantage of the people and technically 3 times the fee of a larking ticket you’ll get from the Montclair police dept. Robbery for sure and taking advantage of the state to charge high fees. Be aware of people of the scam in this parking spot ..“

“I went to a bubble trip around Montclair,NJ and found good in this Gong Cha!
My favorite flavor Taro accompanied with strawberry star toppings and mango bubble XL size is delicious.
Also don't forget to try the new classic of the season
the pumpkin spice bubble tea.

“A 8/10 bagel place. Probably in the top 5 of bagel places in North Jersey. I highly recommend anyone new to this area or traveling from other states to check them out. Here is what i ordered:

I got an Asiago Bagel with bacon egg and cheese. The egg was cooked nicely and they are very generous to the portions when it comes to the bacon. The bagel was pretty big, all the flavors complimented each other well and it was very fulfilling. I felt like i got what i paid for.

I also got a panini bacon egg and cheese. The bread was burned, had to scrape off the burned pieces off of the bread, the bacon was alo burnt, it did not have much cheese as well. It was an OKAY panini, but its not worth $9.

Other than the panini, the service is amazing, they are always busy on the weekends so be prepared to stay in line for at least 7-10 minutes.“
