“Had dinner there for the second time on Saturday night! It was very memorable. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the eggplant with the Barata for an appetizer. It was so delicious and so tasty and my main course was the homemade linguine with lump crab and corn. We also got the meatball which was spectacular and then I got the cheesecake dessert which was one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever eaten. I absolutely love love love this place. Can’t wait to go back and eat there again.“

Not crispy as from can see in pic. Was this really beef also? Walnuts were plain as well.Steamed Spinach Dumplings were a bit dry . Hunan Dumplings Spinach and beef dumplings topped with spicy peanut sauce. Spicy. I got not spicy but were very good. Would I try again. Yes think I would.“

When I landed at my airbnb in Montclair, I ran to CVS to stock up on water. The CVS has closed! A friend said she would drive me to Shoprite to stock up on breakfast and lunch items. I had enough time to grab the chicken bowl across the street.

I asked the staff member what was the healthiest item, & she suggested the chicken rice bowl with the quinoa and healthier Salas. It was delicious!!! Reasonable prices. I would have preferred to try the lamb, but that takes an extra 10 minutes to cook & I didn't have the time. The chicken rice bowl was so good, that I would order that again too!

She told one of them loud enough for everyone inside the restaurant to hear that he had two strikes and she would send him home and then turned to another worker and said that she was going home too. Wtf, the food was good but that woman needs to go back to the handbook and look at how to speak to employees when patrons are around. I was very uncomfortable and not sure I’ll be back. That is not the way to treat others.“

You can order a smaller or larger portion. I opted for smaller & still could only eat half of it, took the rest home. Many of the other choices looked so good as other’s orders passed by our eyes & noses! Zucchini blossoms stuffed with crabmeat, a special that evening & tomato watermelon gazpacho! “The more convenient place for me than the Clifton London, although I like the atmosphere of the Clifton restaurant a little better. The food though is always good and service is pretty attentive either or not they are busy. The Montclair spot has a very nice outdoors seating section in the back.
Parking can be iffy as it's on-street and there are other restaurants in the area and close spaces seem to get taken quickly. However, if you don't mind a small walk there are plenty of lots and side streets in the area, just mind the meter requirements.“
