“We are a family that swears by wheat products (gluten-free people don't really get along with us at mealtimes :-)) so our bread bin and pasta pantry are always full. Ever since we discovered Steins Bagels, we simply stopped buying bagels AND cream cheeses from other stores. Their bagels are deliciously chewy and satisfyingly substantial. Their cream cheeses are much tastier (and substantial) than the kind one can get from a deli in a regular grocery store. Many of their customers are regulars, and this family has joined their club :-)!“

During my lunch hour, I placed an order over the phone and spoke with Emily who was attentive, accommodating and was able to get my custom order perfect. Upon picking up, ammon greeted me quickly and confirmed my order right away. The vegetarian sandwich was amazing and Emily suggested I add the roasted peppers in lieu of the cromini mushrooms. It was amazing and I will be ordering from here again.“

“Lifelong Palisades resident, and have loved the 9W Market/The Filling Station since it opened back in 2011! A HUGE improvement over the previous ownership when it was called the Palisades Market which opened in the spring of 2010 and was only open for a few months and then closed. I was so disappointed with the Palisades Market because it lacked a decent food selection and this community needed something so much more. Luckily, the owners of the 9W Market have done such an amazing job! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The atmosphere and ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil! Love the bistro theme on the indoor side and picnic theme by the filling station burger stand. Not to mention, the burgers are the best I’ve ever had! Made with high quality grass fed beef! This is gourmet nyc restaurant style food right in our local neighborhood! Keep up the great work!“

“Built in 1937 and originally known as “Lookout Inn, my partner and I decided to stop at the State Line Lookout Cafe after a nice hike for a bite. This casual establishment is a throwback to yesteryear inside a nice stone cabin with fireplaces to warm up during cold weather and the only restaurant/cafe around in the nearby area.

I was greeted by the young staff. Their simple menu is a little diverse, from breakfast sandwiches, various burgers, and hot dogs to fries, but nothing too fancy.

We decided on a cheeseburger, a tuna fish salad sandwich, large fries to share, and drinks for takeout.

Service was friendly and quick. Prices are quite reasonable, and the food was hot, freshly prepared, and tasty.

“Tried this new cafe on my way home. They have parking which is great since they are on a main road. The inside is super cute and def picture worthy. Service was good. Greeted upon entering and then made a great recommendation when I asked for one. I got the coconut latte and it was so good. If you like coconut this one is it for you! Sweet yet strong. “This small shop makes the best (bacon) egg + cheese sandwiches around that area.The owners know what I want after I've not been there for months at a time, and have been like that since my first visit. They are always friendly and quick with my order.They have Coffee Roasters coffee, a favorite of mine, but they rarely make decaf, if that's what you're after.It is a tiny shop with limited seating, you'll probably be more comfortable in your car or back home, but there's always news on the tv to keep you amused, should you sit and eat.Park in the Rite-Aid lot or on the side street. They're 2 blocks from the train, and there's plenty of small places to shop or investigate nearby.“
