“This small shop makes the best (bacon) egg + cheese sandwiches around that area.The owners know what I want after I've not been there for months at a time, and have been like that since my first visit. They are always friendly and quick with my order.They have Coffee Roasters coffee, a favorite of mine, but they rarely make decaf, if that's what you're after.It is a tiny shop with limited seating, you'll probably be more comfortable in your car or back home, but there's always news on the tv to keep you amused, should you sit and eat.Park in the Rite-Aid lot or on the side street. They're 2 blocks from the train, and there's plenty of small places to shop or investigate nearby.“

“Today we stopped by GiGi’s Cafe and had the Greek Toast and an Americano, while my wife enjoyed the Classic Toast and an Americano. Everything was absolutely delicious.

The cafe itself is beautifully decorated with flowers, creating such a warm and peaceful atmosphere. We also had the privilege of hearing the owner’s family story. Although it began with sadness, they chose hope, love, and resilience, turning it into something truly beautiful and inspiring.

As their sign says, “You come in as a guest, but you leave as family.” That’s exactly how we felt. We walked in as customers, but we left feeling like family.

“Wow! Heard great things about Double Bubble and finally was able to make it there today! The window and the fun floaties outside got all four of our kids so excited! The interior was so fun! Little and big rubber ducks everywhere, fun seats that looked like desserts for kids to sit on, some table top games...and of course we were greeted by the owner himself, Tony! We ordered the bubble waffles with ice cream and toppings, brownies and adults had lattes and probably the best espresso I ever had....BROWN SUGAR SHAKEN ESPRESSO (I asked for almond milk). I don't normally like sugar in my coffee, but this was absolutely the best espresso I honestly ever had. It was such a kid and family friendly spot and the perfect ending to our lunch!

I can safely say, we are absolutely going back and bringing more friends. Highly recommend!“

“See ya Sook! Bourbon Street Beignet is now my favorite local pastry shop. Born in New Orleans (Charity Hospital-1952) and lived in Paris for a few years as a teenager. Jules does a great job with all his pastries. The beignets were warm, fresh and tasty and on par with Cafe du Monde in NOLA. Will be coming here again.......soon!“

“We've had a frankly difficult few months and decided to treat ourselves to a proper night out and this place ended up being exactly what we needed. From the moment we walked in we felt looked after. The host greeted us warmly, our table was lovely, and the whole atmosphere just put us at ease. Our server picked up immediately on the kind of pace we wanted — slow, relaxed, no rush — and matched it perfectly throughout the evening. She made a couple of recommendations that turned out to be brilliant and never once made us feel hurried through any of the courses. The food was the kind that genuinely lifts your mood. Proper flavours, generous portions, beautifully presented but not so fussy that you can't just dive in. We shared a starter, had a main each, and finished with a dessert we absolutely shouldn't have had room for but somehow found space. Every plate was a winner. The wine was poured with proper care and the bill came at exactly the right moment, not before, not too long after. It was honest and very fair for the experience. We left feeling properly restored. We were so happy to hear that it was open at night again. My husband recently had knee replacement and was itching to get out. We decided to go for coffee/dessert at Made in Italy. He struggled to get in the car and out when we arrived. It was 8:30 Saturday night when they close at 10. There were over 15 tables open - we asked to be seated for coffee and dessert only to be told they don’t do that. They wouldn’t seat us - they gave us their card and told us to check the menu when we got home- which we did. The second paragraph of the website says - stop by just to have a cup of our gourmet coffee. They had many tables open and preferred to turn us away. Needless to say - we will not be going back.“
