“Everyone is really friendly! The new menu is fantastic! Tonight, I had the best hummus and falafel that I’ve had in years! My husband had the Shish Tawook and I had the garlic shrimp. “We stumbled upon Olar Noso and were very happy we did. The food selection was very diverse, offering a nice mix of Spanish tapas and Italian delicacy. They also offer a better than average wine selection, at reasonable (restaurant) prices. The salmon tartare stole the show, but the Gorgonzola stuffed dates, garlic shrimp, and meatball tapas dishes were amazing supporting roles to an overall great meal. Their homemade potato chips made for great table pickins as well. We'll definitely be back to try some of their meat entrees (someone near us had the skirt steak and that ranks top on the list). Well done Olar Noso (but I'll take my skirt steak medium rare when I return;)“

“This was my first experience at Aurora Honestly I picked it because one of the few that still had reservations available. Yet it turned out to be a great choice. My meal was very good, the service was perfect and the portions surprisingly generous. My only disappointments were the iced tea was not brewed and did not taste good. Also I felt it was a bit poor taste for an upscale establishment to charge a credit card surcharge.“

I even drive here for lunch 20 minutes away, even though there's Middle Eastern places a few minutes away from my job. The beef liver is great. Here the baba ganoush and hummus are tasty. Not oily. “It is probably the Best Greek restaurant in the whole Bergen County. I was impressed with the layout, the waiters were very helpful, and gave us the best advice, even for the pickiest of us. After the Greek salad, crisp zucchini, and grilled calamari, the Pastitsio, Moussaka, and seafood Giouvetsi all cooked in clay pots filled us up, but then the lamb chops with lemon potatoes arrived, and nobody could resist them. For dessert we had a platter of galaktobureko"milkpie" and one called ekmek, that we could not decide which was the best. We will definitely come back, but we better fast in advance.“

“Inside the restaurant really looks like stepping on the streets of Mykonos. The baklava was amazing. We also ordered the falafel gyro platter and shrimp suflaki and chicken gyro. We all loved our food but what we loved even more was meeting the owner Thomas. He is naturally entertaining and charismatic! Chatting with him after we finished our meal was the icing on the cake.
