“I usually work nearby this cafe at least once a week. I always try and make time to stop in for lunch when I am in the neighborhood. The food is awesome. I love the fresh ingredients and the menu variety, but the excellent service is what keeps me coming back. The folks working here always are fast to acknowledge and engage even when it’s busy. I cannot say enough about the high quality staff here. Great job !!“

“I've gone to this restaurant a total of three times. The first time I went, (about a year and a half ago) I just got 4 pupusas de frijoles y queso, they were made fresh to order, and they were delicious. The second time I went, was earlier this week, I ordered two pupusas de frijoles y queso and 2 empanadas de carne and a chicharon, to my surprise everything I ordered was already made and they took the pupusas out of a warmer and also the empanadas, although I was skeptical by that at first, I didn't really have a problem with it, but I did skip out on the chicharon just because it looked a little dry, but she did offer to make me a fresh batch, which I really appreciated it, but I had already changed my mind. When I got home and I ate the pupusas and the empanadas they were still very hot and they were delicious and nothing was dried out. I went again today there was nothing already pre-made (which I would have bought anyways because they were still really good last time) so I ordered 2 empanadas and three pupusas and everything was made fresh to order. And as usual very delicious. So from my experience whether it was made to order fresh or made prior and in the warmer the quality of the food was the same and always delicious. As far as the staff goes, I have only dealt with one lady and she's always been kind.“

“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“We went to the Tartinery Cafe at Columbus Circle for a quick bite before a 7 PM show at Lincoln Center. It was a perfect pre-theatre experience. Beautiful setting with great views of Central Park, great service, and delicious food at a nice price point. The open-face club sandwich (topped with brie) was nicely prepared and delicious. We will happily return.“

“What a delightful little breakfast/brunch place!!! We went here straight from the airport on our way into town, luggage and all, and it was perfect! We sat in the little outside area with the fans because the A/C was broken inside. My mom ordered the Grey Dog’s Breakfast with her eggs scrambled, French toast, and bacon, and it’s served with home fries. I ordered the egg and cheese croissant minus the parsley (not my fave) and added bacon. I’m picky about my home fries, so the server offered me french fries instead. We had exactly zero complaints about our meal. The portions are big, the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the French toast had this sweet butter with it that I can’t even compare to anything because it was so unique and delicious. The home fries ended up being DELICIOUS. The French fries were also good. I enjoyed the seasoning on them as well. I’m not a big fan of the thing shoe string fries, but these were good! The three employees we encountered were all very friendly and I would be more than happy to eat here again any time.“

“We came here for dessert after having brunch at a different restaurant. The wait was about 50 minutes without a reservation for seating at the bar. For the future I will definitely be making a reservation as we walked the whole store in about 15 mins. The dessert was amazing and so was the Cocopolitan. My favorite was the Tiramisu 'Montenapoleone' we also ordered the Strawberry Charlotte and the Chocolate Monogram. Will definitely be going back!“

“Arrived early for a two-person reservation on a hot summer New York night, fresh off the excitement of the Knicks parade - we didn’t catch it but the energy was palpable.

Even though our table wasn’t ready (we were a full hour early after all), the hostess was kind enough to help us pick out a chenin blanc to enjoy inside before being seated outside.

While the burger was absolutely delicious, the highlight of the evening was our server, Hunter. He struck the perfect balance of being attentive and giving us space, allowing us to enjoy our conversation without interruption. We ordered the bolognese and the special of the day which was pistachio pesto and better than any pistachio pesto i had in Sicily two weeks ago. “I decided to try a new coffee spot today and walked into Tenpa’s. I ordered a 16oz iced latte with almond milk and raspberry flavoring. I should’ve taken a picture before I mixed it all up because it was pretty and layered. The raspberry flavoring isn’t very strong, but the quality of the coffee is REALLY good. You can tell it’s good just by the color of it, that perfect toasty brown. Not too milky :)
These guys are fast and efficient! Don’t be worried about a line because it’s moving FAST. The employees are nice and pleasant and everyone’s smiling. There’s definitely regulars that go in because the person making the drinks was calling out their orders before they even ordered them lol the pastries looked delicious so I’ll be ordering one next time I go in. There’s some nice seating and looks like people enjoy going in there to work. I was in and out of there in less than 5min. Looking forward to another visit :)“
