“Walked in on a busy Saturday evening with my wife. The place was bustling but we were able to grab two seats at the bar after waiting about 10 minutes. Sara was tending bar and she greeted us right away. We shared a steak, arugula salad, a side of onion rings, and had a couple of drinks. One of the best meals we've had in a while on datenight and Sara's service was top notch. My wife and I go to Roots often and we found the food and service better here. Atmosphere was more authentic too. Hope to be back soon.“

“The entire experience was, as usual, wonderful. Food server MATT was very upbeat, lively and efficient. It was a great way to celebrate our anniversary dinner. We were happy that your put the bigger sized rotisserie chicken back on the menu. You only had one vegetarian meal on the menu -- perhaps in the future you will add more veggie items.“

Why don't these local roasters sell sample packs, allowing you to still purchase a pound of beans, but separated into small batches with samples of each bean type? This would allow me to quickly figure out which bean I want to try without having to buy a single large bag and take a month to go through coffee I don't really like before trying the next type . . . Or maybe i should start roasting my own beans and do this method . . .Anyways, I really like the space they have, they've really made the most of it, very cozy and inviting.Can't wait to go back“

“Our first visit... And wow! Out of this world, in every regard. We didn't even have a reservation, on a somewhat busy Friday night, but they were able to accommodate us for a last-minute table for two. One of the Managers, if not, the Manager, by the name of Charlotte, was extraordinarily delightful, courteous, friendly and very accommodating! And our server, Bailey, was every bit helpful, patient, sweet, attentive, and she was even kind enough to give us a couple of great recommendations off of their menu. Kudos, and enthusiastically recommended to all. This place is the Real McCoy, and we will return with 100% certainty! A+++++“

“Hadn't eaten here in a little while. We really enjoyed the food and drink quite a bit! I love eating small plates and getting different tastes. Our favorites were the chicken and waffles, pulled pork sliders, shrimp and chicken specialty tacos and we ordered truffle fries (off menu) that were delicious. My boys don't love vegetables but they even liked the shaved Brussel sprout salad! We will definitely be back.“

The NY strip is really delicious, soft and creamy when you take at medium cook.The atmosphere is OK, but nothing impressive to make you and your family too excited.The staff serves very well with some kind of emphaty, but not happy as you want to be.Its not a chepeast price in Town, so, if you are getting there, there is a lot of types of food on the menu.“

“I absolutely love this place! From the food, atmosphere and customer service. I have used them twice to cater my baby shower and a recent birthday party. Zinna the owner is super sweet, professional, punctual. She truly wants the customer to be happy and checks in with you. My family and friends loved the food and I will always use them in the future.“

“Definitely a five star experience!!! We arrived just before happy hour ended (4-5:30) and they were kind enough to place a quick order of oysters!!! They were super fresh and delicious... favs were west coast (sorry NJ). Next, came the Parker rolls!!! Probably my favorite part of the meal, but then again, who doesn't like homemade, freshly baked rolls with buttered top and a touch of salt!!! Because everything looked so good, we opted for a bunch of other appys to start! The New Zealand angus beef bites were served with horseradish aioli and a Parker roll, the halloumi cheese was accompanied by orange slices, prosciutto, radicchio and dehydrated olives. The octopus was spectacular... crispy with romanesco sauce, fried chickpeas, cilantro and paprika breadcrumbs. Of course, we had to also try the OHS mussel pot... with chorizo, saffron, garlic cream, sun dried tomatoes... and an herbed garlic roll on top!!! LOVED THEM ALL! It's not often that so many different, but complimentary flavors are presented in each dish!!! We could have stopped our meals there and would have been pleasantly satisfied and full! Next, we chose a couple of the sirloin sandwiches with fries, and the squid ink pasta with Calabrian chili and Meyer lemon breadcrumbs!!! All was very good. The evening was finished with 3 of their delicious desserts... the lemon meringue tart was the perfect sweet with a pucker. The molten dark chocolate cake was decadent. And the trio of gelatos were each so uniquely flavorful and delicious! Wow!!! Given that 100 steps is a BYOB, it makes everything even more affordable! We had spectacular service in this beautiful restaurant with amazing food! It was quite a special evening!“

“My family and I had an amazing brunch experience at Agricola! We were a group of 10 people and were seated promptly. Our server, Elvis, was absolutely fantastic - attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. The food and drinks were delicious across the board, with everyone in our group loving their orders. “I eat at local steak houses Roots and Ruth Chris relatively frequently at least once per month, I wanted to switch up my experience so I searched best steakhouse in New Jersey and this came up. I had no clue how much of a treat I was in for, my father and I sat down for a 3 hour dinner that easily was one of the top meals I have ever had in my life. Sushi here is amazing, the Foxy and Lover Rolls are a must have. All meat products here are high quality and seasoned in a captivating way that will keep me coming back for more. Deserts are plentiful, more on the adventurous side but still amazing, all of their coffee options are also great. The mashed potato rings are a must have! Our waitress Cathy was outstanding in every way, very attentive, and overall a nice person. Everything else aside, and most importantly: the Feathered Fox is CONSISTENT! This establishment is a true hidden treasure. Compliments to the entire service team and chefs at the Feathered Fox.“

“This is a decent spot. We dined here with another couple on a busy Saturday night. It's a small space but well designed with mostly attentive service. For me, the standouts were the appetizers. We shared the chicken lollipops and pork belly. The chicken was so crispy and flavorful! We tried the arctic char and short ribs as entrees. Both were good but I wouldn't say exceptional or standout. I did thoroughly enjoy the grits that came with the short ribs. We also all split the earl grey tea tiramisu. It sounded interesting and innovative but missed the spot for us! It really did not feel like a tiramisu. I think I would have been more into it if it was called something else! It was tasty but unexpected given the name.“

“THIS PLACE IS PHENOMENAL!!!!The other day I went to, Village Street Eatery, for breakfast. It was absolutely amazing! I got their Corn Beef Hash Breakfast Wrap & on a separate occasion I got their Taylor Ham, Egg, & Cheese with extra meat and three eggs. Both items were a real treat! Their Taylor Ham, Egg, & Cheese was really really tasty, and the Taylor Ham had a wonderful crisp to it accompanied by a lovely crunch around around the edges. The best of the two was the Corn Beef Hash Breakfast Wrap! The Corn Beef was extremely flavorful and the potatoes they added to the wrap were seasoned and tender. The Corn Beef Hash Breakfast wrap is an exemplary to-go breakfast item. I thoroughly enjoyed both! The staff is really kind, and the customer service was amazing. The ambiance is impeccable as well too, makes you want to sit down and enjoy your breakfast. I would HIGHLY recommend, Village Street Eatery, to anyone in the Maplewood area. Their Corn Beef Hash Breakfast Wrap is a must try!“

“We love Luna Stella - such an underrated gem right in the heart of Maplewood! Cute outdoor patio/garden area in the back with plenty of seating, and the food is always excellent, as is the service. We've never had a bad meal here and will continue going back, especially when the weather is nice and we're looking for an outdoor dining spot!“

“Overall a very good experience. Good was for the most part well prepared and presented. Calamari was had too many peppers which made it a little bit difficult to eat but still was good. Short ribs was a good but overpriced with just one piece of meat. Still would recommend the place without reservation.“

“I visited Just Jake’s on a Friday evening for a live band performance and had a good time. There are no waiters, tables or chairs, just a big dance floor near the stage and a bar so everybody was dancing and having fun. There was a $8 cover charge and the price of the drinks were reasonable. Staff was friendly and it was easy and quick to get drinks.“

“Solid Poke place. Food is fresh & customizable with a decent variety that you might expect for a Poke place including a few extras (Mango, Seaweed salad, and plenty of sauces). Service is fast and accurate to your order. I've never had an ingredient missing nor any complaints of less than expected. The store itself is barebones minimal decoration with some wall attached table tops to eat at and not much else but I hardly eat in and prefer takeout.One minor issue is the 16 Oz bowls they use can be quite difficult to separate the lid from the bowl. It's not normally a prolonged problem with some work but I've had a number of instances with older adults not being able to remove the lid because of the lack of any way to grip the lid or bowl separately. This could be remedied with a simple tab on the lid and bowl but they just don't have it.Either case, Orgreen is a solid take out place with decent ingredients and nice variety. Service is fast & accurate. Each meal will fill you up nicely.“

“Harvest Bistro is absolutely incredible! This has been a favorite lunch spot of ours for years. We also recently worked with them to cater my son's baptism party and we were so impressed. Every single guest commented on how delicious the food was. Several people even told us it was the best food they had ever had from a caterer. Tushar is so helpful and easy to work with too.
