“John Morton' Tavern located on Lincoln Ave & 4th Street has great staff members/bar tenders that are very attentive towards their customers. One bar tender can handle the customers sitting at the bar. The food that came out of the kitchen was nice and hot while being prepared in a reasonable amount of time. Keep up the good work 👍-Good Luck in 2026 & Beyond. This is a good bar in the area but maybe could be smaller than some other local bars. It's not a bad thing but could get packed quickly. Business Parking lot wraps around behind the building and additional parking on 4th Ave“

“I ordered what Joanne casually described as “a chocolate cocktail.” What she actually served was a life-altering experience disguised as an adult chocolate milk.

The first sip hit me so hard I nearly needed a cigarette afterward. It slid down smoother than a pickup line from someone who actually follows through. Rich, creamy, and dangerously easy to swallow, this drink had me questioning every other cocktail I’ve ever let into my mouth.

Joanne absolutely knew what she was doing. She teased me with just enough sweetness before delivering a finish that left me wanting another round immediately. I’ve been thinking about it ever since, and frankly, I can’t wait to have it in my hands again.

I’ve had plenty of drinks in my life, but this one absolutely blew me away. If this cocktail were any more seductive, I’d have to introduce it to my parents. Five stars. I’d let Joanne ruin my self-control anytime.“

We got an epic letdown (understatement) from American: 5 hour departure delay on our incoming and they wouldn't hold the Philly flight 5 minutes for us - my sister was in critical condition in Oregon. Needless to say, it was late, we were emotionally crushed, and just needed a bite (and drink!) before bed. We ended up spending hours with Shawnatt. She's super sweet, and is the only reason we could take a deep breath and say it is what it is, and move on with some sanity. Thank you - needed and greatly appreciated!“

“My friend and I finally made it to the Barnsboro Inn for lunch today-really wish we had discovered this gem a long time ago. We couldn’t stop talking about how charming it was inside, beautifully decorated for autumn. Our waitress was perfect-attentive but not hovering. My friend ordered the chicken quesadillas and I had the tavern cheese steak and both were scrumptious. Next time, we plan on going for dinner hopefully when it’s decorated for Christmas.“
