“I am closing in on 40 and have been coming to this restaurant since I was a small child, some of my earliest memories are family dinners at Da Chen. The staff here are amazing— kind, attentive, helpful, and generous. Their house made duck sauce and crispy fried wonton chips ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD. Do not sleep on them if you only ever order take-out! You receive the crispy wonton chips with any soup order, but you have to ask for their homemade duck sauce on the side (costs like 25¢ iirc)!!! My favorite foods from here are: wonton soup, their complimentary jasmine tea, shrimp toast, beef & broccoli, sweet & sour chicken, general tso’s chicken, pork fried rice, and the bao bao platter (it’s such a fun treat eating this for dine-in). You will always receive the same quality service and food here, and somehow over the years it’s even gotten better! Da Chen is child-friendly and has high chairs available to use, and is wheelchair-accessible straight from the ample free parking lot and into the restaurant. Da Chen accepts cash, debit or credit. The prices for all of them were about the same, but this place doesn't charge a really high additional fee for using credit/debit to pay. She just loved it.The atmosphere is fantastic in the food court. Plenty of seating. Even when it is busy we can always find a seat.I highly recommend Master Wok in the Deptford Mall. The comments here are so mean and after reviewing some recent ones… well Covid have happened it doesn’t help that the country itself is filled with mostly ungrateful Americans. The food is still good, there has been some changes but I never had problems with this place. Probably because I am also respectful and you receive what you give I guess. The place can use some upgrades and upkeeping but before you hurt a business, ensure you reflect how you are treating workers. It is hard out here and businesses themselves are just trying to thrive and make it back from Covid years.

Vegetarian options: The bean curd is exxxxactly what you want tofu to be when you order Chinese takeout. Soft and firm at the same time. Not soppy. Not chewy. Not falling out of the breading that encases it. You could realistically make any dish veg if you just swap it for the bean curd.“
