“Had breakfast here early on a Saturday with a friend. Food was good for sure. However, EVERY person working at this restaurant attended to us. We had a hard time finishing one sentence of our conversation without being asked how things were or if we wanted more coffee. I'm serious, no fewer than 6 people visited our table. Our waitress, Marissa, was personable and helpful; she was taking care of us very well. The 1-star for atmosphere was because the OWNER came to our table and asked if we wanted more coffee. I declined, but my friend accepted. I swear she did this just to make him go away as Marissa had offered us coffee moments before and she'd declined. THEN WE OVERHEAR the manager giving Marissa a hard time because we ACCEPTED COFFEE. His assumption was that she had not been attending to us instead of understanding that women know that the male ego has a hard time with the word NO. Not only should management not be giving a good waitress a hard time, they certainly should not do it where customers can hear. Gross!“

“Visited for first time. Food and service were great. I have to say I was not pleased with the Pet situation. I am a dog lover, but pets in a restaurant is not appealing at all. The dogs were barking, doing their busy on the sidewalk, spilling drinking water out of saucers. This was a bit too much. What really stood out during my visit was the service. Wael, the gentleman working the front counter, was exceptionally polite, attentive, and patient. “This was my first time eating at this Texas Weiner joint and was the second of four Texas Weiner spots we visited on the day. They are a family owned and operated restaurant for over 50 years. The interior is a bit animated with its menu signs and had the second largest seating capacity of the four places. While not very large there was more than enough seating available. \n\nThis Texas Weiner-only tour included four luncheonettes located in Dunellen, Middlesex and Plainfield. “First time eating here and AMAZING food.

We came here on Mother’s Day Sunday and it was packed. We checked in and it was a 30 minute wait and good to know the line was moving quick and customers were seated in the restaurant. Though the service was slow, it was understandable as this was Mother’s Day, Sunday, and lunch time.

Having said this the food we ordered was tasty, value for money, and will definitely come here again to eat. Don’t forget to sign up on the App to get free pancakes from the Pancoins. Thank you IHOP!
