“We were looking for popular local food places to try (things we don't usually get back home) and I'm glad we chose Taste Buds! I had BBQ Chicken with candied yams and sautéed spinach. My husband had the BBQ chicken mac and cheese bowl. We also tried a little of the BBQ pulled pork fries. IT WAS ALL DELICIOUS! Best soul food we have EVER had. If we were local, we would definitely frequent this place!“

“I visit Sweet Jeans more than once per day when I am working - it really is the BEST cafe I've ever been to. Every single staff member is welcoming, friendly, and treats you like family from your very first visit. The coffee, sandwiches and pastries are literally incredible.
I find myself wishing I was at Sweet Jean's whenever I'm not in Newark.. there's nothing else quite like it!“

“As someone who appreciates food when it is an experience, this right here does it in every sense. The owner clearly knows how to bring the part of Brazil that they dont show us. You don’t even need to speak to anyone because when you scan the QR Code, order & pay for everything (takes the awkward who’s paying) & your order arrives in no time. When you eat the food it is clear there’s a whole team trained in how to make everything that comes out of that kitchen mouthwatering. It’s a whole vibe full of delicious food, quick service, chill ambiance that’s only missing the resort right on the beach built around it. Every single note was hit & well now I want to go to Brazil.“

“Went today for the first time I loved it. Despite being busy, I got my order in less that 20 minutes. I ordered the French toast with Nutella cream and it was absolutely delicious. So sweet and fluffy. The coffee was so good and rich. Camille was my server today and she was nothing short of the best. Greeted me warmly and gave me great service. Will definitely be back, thank you so much!“

“What a great and convenient place to have lunch or breakfast. I truly enjoy the sandwiches and soups. My favorite is beef barley on Tuesdays. Chicken noodle fills the bill any day with different pastas to satisfy your palate. Friendly service and just a great place to eat. Come and enjoy your meal, it will truly be worth it.!!!“

“My first time going there and the food was good. I got the fried mushroom platter with wild rice, chickpeas and salad. I felt good eating the food. “I came here with my family and loved it! The food is sooo good and the portions are great! I had to take it home! The owner is also so nice. Definitely coming back again. My mom who doesn’t like outside food at all lovesss the owners food! Definitely coming back!!✨✨✨“
“This is an excellent restaurant. If weather permits ask to be seated outside, the view, especially at night, is outstanding. We had the Filet Mignon and the Chilean Bass, both superb. Service was effective and professional. The place is expensive though.“

The grilled corn beef sub is phenomenal.
I get mine with provolone cheese, lotta mayo, lettuce tomato, & salt and pepper.
Add a 20 oz. Coca cola or Sprite on the side and I'm in there.
Oh yeah I always order an extra sandwich 4 later.“

“dirty place....the chef uses his bare hands to prepare and cook meals then denied multiple customers for food requests like 8pm like 🤦♀️..... they never clean while cooking or preparing instead they wait to clean up at 8pm ....gross only meal I was able to eat was a kibob salad because there meat is disgusting 😑“
