“Amazing food and service.“

“This place is a hidden gem. They have hearty portions and everything it just delicious. It’s small and quaint little shop but it feels just like visiting family. The owner and the staff are always so warm and welcoming. They’re just genuine heartfelt people. The bagels are perfect, and the food always hits the spot. Love their breakfast sandwiches. I’ve been there a few times and I’ll definitely be back again.“

“So after being in New Jersey and going to about 8 bagel shops, I guess this is the one. So... I pull up and the first thing you will notice, parking is an issue. Luckily, people are coming and going so it took around 5 minutes to attain a parking spot. From the look of things, there may have been a parking lot in front of thee establishment before but it would seem that they decided to fill the parking lot with outdoor seating. From speaking to a patron, I understand because he told me that he always walks to the place. So on a nice day, I suppose the outdoor seating is great. You go inside and it's a small space and they have a few tables and chairs inside as well.

Inside and I'm in a line. Probably about 8 people ahead of me. I'm already thinking that these bagels must be damn good. Took about 10 minutes until I put my order in. In total I spent about 25 minutes at this spot. As I'm leaving, there are more people in line than when I got there. Just from seeing the bagels, they look soft and fresh. Just happy to have found the place. I get home and the bagels are just as good as they look. This clean bagel shop comes highly recommended and will be back! Great job guys!“

“I come here every morning, the food slapss (slang for soooo good), i got a spanish burrito with jalapenos and comes with homefries and it did not disappoint!

They are always friendly! They know my usual order already and its clean and i've never had a bad experience. My iced coffee with caramel, cream and sugar always taste good. And they're not skimpy either LOL and very well priced! Your not spending $10 on a coffee and bagel! Hopefully they can continue to keep good prices because itd be a shame to see them go.

“Clean, fast, terrific selection. Easy in and out parking. Had good old egg and sausage on a roll = best I’ve ever had. Great coffee, offered 1/2 and 1/2 self serve. No waiting in line. Make it while they make your sandwich. If I commuted this would be my every morning spot.“

“It was my first time there but certainly will not be my last. The cashiers knew we weren't from there but super super nice. I had THE BEST quiche I have EVER had. I joked that they sprinkled crack or something on it because I wanted to buy the WHOLE pie . It was beyond fluffy and delicious. It was mushroom, caramelized onion and cheese. I also has a side of bacon and home fries plus a hazelnut latte. It was less than $30 and beyond filling. I took 1/2 home because it was so much food. I didn't think to take a pic before I started eating, so no, that's not the whole quiche lol. Customer service was top tier and considering that NYC has a reputation for rude people (not true...mostly), this place makes you feel special!“

“I finally checked out PopUp Bagels, and the hype is totally justified. You absolutely have to get here early—like, when they’re still pulling those hot, fresh bagels out of the oven and tossing them into the bin! Nothing beats that feeling (or smell!) to kick off a New York morning.

I grabbed the three-pack with scallion cream cheese. All the bagels were great, but the Salt Bagel was the runaway winner for me. That perfect salty crunch outside with the hot, chewy inside…Unbelievably delicious !

There’s not a whole lot of dining room space, so you’ll either have to take it to go or get lucky to find an empty table.“

“I always get great service in this place. The food is fantastic (especially for the price). Their salads are made fresh on the spot... they cut everything fresh as they need em... they don't store the lettuce pre cut in tubs like most restaurants do. This is just an example of what sets Ben's apart from most places. I found the bagels to be soft enough for my kid which was a big deal for him.

Ordered two iced macchiatos without the sugar which was really good

The lady at the register was sweet and welcoming.

It got busy and they handled it really well, it wasn’t a mad house like some places get.“

“I loooooove B Bagel! The brothers who own it are so nice and I'm really happy to support their business. My husband and I usually go on Sunday and there is something about waiting in the line that's oddly enjoyable... not to mention the food is totally worth the wait! I have been getting the Levant on a Sesame or Everything Bagel and it hits the spot for me. My husband always gets the Big B without cheese and has decided it's his favorite meal in Jersey City and favorite breakfast of all time. The bagels and bagel sandwiches are all awesome, the inside of the shop is busy and friendly, couldn't recommend it more!

What's absolutely underrated here are the pastries. I got a sprinkle cookie today which was literally life changing and I will be getting it every week from now on.“

“There are tons of bagel places in NJ, but we always find ourselves comparing to House of Bagels. Definitely our favorite bagels - they’re so soft and fluffy on the inside, great crust with plenty of seasoning (our whole family loves everything bagel). Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!“

The two man team behind the counter can make you a sandwich in about 2-3 mins so if you’re running late for the F train you can still get a solid (and cheap) breakfast. “We visited the place last Saturday. The cheese bread is fresh but not really the bagels we got. We waited so long ; we found out that my daughter’s order was given to someone else but they did not care to replace it at once. When we asked about our order, that’s the time they rushed to prepare it , in less than five minutes, the sandwich was handed to us. When we were in the car since we’re already late for our next appointment, my daughter found out that the replacement was wrong. She paid for plain bagel with double eggs, bacon, and cheese but she was given with plain bagel with cheese only. They asked for our phone number but did not initiate the call. I hope they will do better in their team work.“
