Already dreaming of how and when I can make my way back to Park Slope just for this and the super chocolate-chip cookie. But that babka, this subtle mix of Nutella and chocolate (I don’t even like Nutella) and the smooth, moistness of it all is so perfect, with this sugared little crispy bottom. Shoutout to Omri, a talented stop-motion artist working his last week, who was so warm and helpful to me.

“Coffee Project in the East Village is a small, modern spot with a Euro-café vibe (bonus points for the no-laptop policy). Their medium-roast blend—Colombia meets Guatemala—hits a sweet spot: smooth milk-chocolate body with a caramel finish, zero bitterness, and plenty of flavor.

I ordered an almond croissant, and the staff offered to pop it in the oven. It came out crisp outside, soft and fragrant inside—no sogginess. They even let us enjoy a couple of pastries we’d picked up elsewhere at their outdoor table, all with genuine warmth.

Friendly people, thoughtful touches, and a medium roast I’d gladly order again. Perfect coffee-and-pastry stop in the neighborhood.“

“Cutesy little coffee shop bakery that I stumbled upon while in town. Small, quaint, quiet and cutesy. My gf and I ordered a slice of Banana Walnut Bread, Spearmint Hot Tea, Iced Passionfruit Black Tea and Kouign-amann. We were so impressed w the quality, taste and presentation of everything as everything was enjoyable and something we'd definitely purchase again.“

We ordered the Chipotle Chicken and Chino’s Special subs to go (hero sizes). Both were incredible! The CC had a really nice kick to it and complimented the crispy chicken cutlet very well. Chino’s Special was my favorite - a messy sub with a generous helping of turkey meat with a runny egg.

My family of 3 wished we had more space in our stomachs to finish everything. The hero sized subs are large, and absolutely worth the price especially with similar restaurants charging the same, if not more, for a mediocre sub. We will be back for more!“

Well, look no more for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Great rustic look, comfy seating with back support, loads of outlets for laptops, and the second-floor space are super cute and cozy too. Oh and there's a small little outside area that's pretty cool as well. Shaquille (hope I spelled it right) was AMAZING! So down-to-earth, friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She made me the Tumeric latte for me and I all but licked the cup clean. I had the hummus & cucumber on sourdough toast and it was divine. Also, a great option for vegans. I totally recommend this place if you have similar needs or just want to hang out with some friends. I will surely be going back.“

“Great coffee, We stopped at Roast’d coffee shop before heading to NYC, great experience; the pour over coffee was fantastic. Johan was quite friendly explaining different coffee beans as he roasted them and brews the coffee. I tried the espresso as well brewed from 3 different beans, very tasty. “Seems like a place that west village girlie gringos would flock but was pleasantly uncrowded.

I really liked the vegan soft serve!! The matcha and taro ice cream were both really yummy. It looks a bit grainy, but it’s not.

My one note is that it melts veryyyy quickly. They could benefit from a food scientist to throw some antifreeze in the mix lol.

They have lots of fun drinks. Prices are normal (respectable). Some places to sit inside and outside.“
