We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! Answered all our questions with a very helpful and cheerful attitude even tho she was drowning in drink orders! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! Camilla even gave me a hug when we left! She made my whole morning! And gave us the absolute best breakfast recommendation as well! Thank u so much Camilla for your grace and kindness this morning. “This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Jersey City (and believe me, there are many). The staff is so lovely, the food is fresh and delicious and reasonably priced for the quality, the drinks are fun. I've brought babies, worked here, stopped by with my dog for takeout, and sat outside, and all experiences have been great. Highly recommend Hybrid!“

“Best babka I’ve ever had, ohhhh my goodness. Best bakery I’ve been to in a long time, and I am bakery-obsessed. Already dreaming of how and when I can make my way back to Park Slope just for this and the super chocolate-chip cookie. But that babka, this subtle mix of Nutella and chocolate (I don’t even like Nutella) and the smooth, moistness of it all is so perfect, with this sugared little crispy bottom. Shoutout to Omri, a talented stop-motion artist working his last week, who was so warm and helpful to me.

“The rum infused espresso is to die for… Even as a coffee enthusiast this is not something I’d seen before but it definitely made for a cool experience and made it feel like more than just your typical cafe.

Never been to a coffee shop where the staff are so friendly, genuinely left a bit shocked after having been asked to have our photo taken for the instagram!

I was the first drip coffee order of the day (this was around 4pm), but they were still accommodating. Convenient location, a crisp air temperature, a carefully curated bookshop. Bread upon request. “Cutesy little coffee shop bakery that I stumbled upon while in town. Small, quaint, quiet and cutesy. My gf and I ordered a slice of Banana Walnut Bread, Spearmint Hot Tea, Iced Passionfruit Black Tea and Kouign-amann. “I stopped here on a whim driving home and I’m so glad I did. Super friendly workers who asked how I was while they were making my order and one even brought my bag of food to me as I was waiting by the front door.

We ordered the Chipotle Chicken and Chino’s Special subs to go (hero sizes). Both were incredible! The CC had a really nice kick to it and complimented the crispy chicken cutlet very well. Chino’s Special was my favorite - a messy sub with a generous helping of turkey meat with a runny egg.

My family of 3 wished we had more space in our stomachs to finish everything. The hero sized subs are large, and absolutely worth the price especially with similar restaurants charging the same, if not more, for a mediocre sub. We will be back for more!“

“I live in the area and attend college out of town so getting to the library on my off days is tough. I've been looking for a place with a chill ambiance, wifi, good tea, and coffee. Well, look no more for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Great rustic look, comfy seating with back support, loads of outlets for laptops, and the second-floor space are super cute and cozy too. Oh and there's a small little outside area that's pretty cool as well. Shaquille (hope I spelled it right) was AMAZING! So down-to-earth, friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She made me the Tumeric latte for me and I all but licked the cup clean. I had the hummus & cucumber on sourdough toast and it was divine. Also, a great option for vegans. I totally recommend this place if you have similar needs or just want to hang out with some friends. I will surely be going back.“

“It’s one of those places you would walk straight through unless you knew of it beforehand or saw its raving reviews.

I got a cortado and an almond croissant. They were both good and the barista was extremely kind even when the place became packed and she was managing the coffee machine, oven and registering machine.

The stars are for her. If you stop by, try getting something else. I noticed cold drinks are popular, I’m sure you’ll have better luck.“

“Eccentric local cafe with tasty baked goods!

It was not too small but not big enough to have 20 people inside to sit together.

The cafe was really quiet. Vintage vibe. You can see the owner really thought about the decorations and theme for the cafe. There is no laptop policy though so it is good to read books or talk with your friends.

I got the matcha drink which was pretty good. It had a strong matcha flavor without any weird aftertaste. Walnut brownie was really good so is the cookie.

I highly recommend this place. I would like to try other baked goods and chai next time.“

“We pulled off the highway for a coffee and stumbled upon this gem. The pastry menu is filled with unique items and great flavor combinations. I had the ube pan de sal and the Kashmir cardamom latte with oat milk. I absolutely love both! The location seemed surprising at first, it’s located in a larger office complex, but inside it feels comfortable with warm lighting and plenty of seating. They also sell records and prepared wraps and desserts. Check it out if you’re in the area! I will be sure to stop by next time I’m passing through.“
