“We ordered a chop cheese, the six corners quesadilla, tater tots, and a mango monster smoothie.

The vibe inside was a small and cute cafe. It took about 20 minutes for our food to be ready.

The chop cheese was delicious. I loved the texture of the ground meat and the melted cheese. The quesadilla was a little too salty and the steak was a bit chewy. The tater tots weren't great. The mango monster was solid, but I wouldn't get it again for $8.

Overall a solid experience. I would like to try some of their other menu items and maybe call ahead to avoid the wait.“

While it looked packed they were able to seat us the bar within 2-3 minutes of coming in, coffees served quick and the food was out in no more than 10 minutes. Luchador wrap was incredible, great blend of spicy chorizo, avocado, and eggs. Wraps fell apart a little while trying to eat and stand, but that could’ve been a skill issue. What really made Little Purity stand out was the stupendous family staff - warm, friendly, kind, and funny too! Had very enjoyable conversation with our servers, and you can tell that they put care into all of their interactions. My partner left her hat inside, and he ran out after us to return it! During that time someone on the street called out to him and our server knew him by name - this further goes to show that these people truly care about their customers and their neighborhood. What makes this place unique is that it’s not your typical all-American brunch, which for me can sometimes be on the bland side. Here, you’re getting a true Dominican-American breakfast and brunch experience — sazon, flavor, and soul in every bite. If you enjoy savoring your food, this is a match made in heaven.

Their mangú is smooth, creamy, and comforting — not the stiff, heavy version you often get elsewhere. I ordered the tres golpe and my girlfriend had the dos golpe with pechurrinas (Dominican chicken tenders). The chicken was crisp to perfection, seasoned beautifully, and mixing it with the mangú is next-level. To finish, I ordered a papaya milkshake that was amazing — rich, refreshing, and the perfect balance.

On top of that, the service is excellent. Our server Jeanette was attentive, funny, and welcoming — exactly the kind of energy you want when you’re hungry.

And let’s talk about price. In 2025, when everything feels overpriced, this spot is a blessing. Most dishes are $5–$10, nothing over $25, and the quality is unmatched even compared to restaurants charging triple. You get your money’s worth every time.

The only downside is they’re not open for dinner — but for breakfast and brunch, Cafeteria Brooklyn is unbeatable. If you want food that’s flavorful, affordable, and satisfying, this is where you need to be. I’ll definitely be back.“

The guy who takes phone orders affectionately refers to us as “The Donut Family” because we usually order the last donuts of the day. What’s pictured here is seasoned waffle fries and a special made burger (bacon cheddar cheeseburger on a glazed donut w/lettuce & tomato). They are open very early. They take cards and cash. The staff is super friendly. Great for delivery but not so great as a dine in spot (they do have a couple of chairs inside but it’s really too small to sit and enjoy a meal without having to move for the incoming foot traffic).“

This breakfast & brunch chain restaurant recently opened within the complex of the Bergen Town Center mall. It is not located inside the mall, but in the lower level parking lot next to Home Goods.

I knew this location was going to be on the money because there was an hour wait when my girlfriend and I checked in.

To entertain yourself while you wait, window in the surrounding stores until you receive a text message alerting you that your table is ready.

When we were seated, I was impressed already. The chairs are comfortable and they automatically provided all three utensils; most places only provide a fork and knife and I always have to request a spoon.

These are a couple of the menu items I explored:

Coffee:
I usually never order coffee whenever I dine out because I am not a fan of milk or half & half. First Watch provides vanilla and hazelnut coffee creamers.

As a bonus, the coffee is served in a refillable carafe ( similar to IHOP); if it is empty, the server will gladly refill it.

Double Bacon Parmesan Hash:
This was a unique, but phenomenal breakfast plate. I knew this signature item was going to be a winner when I saw the sidewalk billboard poster.

It was topped with a vegetable medley, over easy eggs, bacon and smothered in Alfredo sauce. The plate was very filling and I didn’t feel bloated afterwards.

If you decide to dine here, I highly recommend arriving in the morning or early afternoon because they close every day at 2:30 PM.
