“Looooved the atmosphere at this cute Puerto Rican owned cafe. The coquito latte?! AMAZING. My friend got the avocado toast and I got the breakfast sandwich on Mexican bread. 9/10! The only downfall was that people were comfortably seated and no one was really policing the tables, but my friend and I finally got a seat and were able to enjoy the experience a little better.“

The salads were good and seemed fresh. This place is like a buffet with many options so do not get overwhelmed! I walked around and viewed all the options before I started creating my plate. “Lifelong Palisades resident, and have loved the 9W Market/The Filling Station since it opened back in 2011! A HUGE improvement over the previous ownership when it was called the Palisades Market which opened in the spring of 2010 and was only open for a few months and then closed. I was so disappointed with the Palisades Market because it lacked a decent food selection and this community needed something so much more. Luckily, the owners of the 9W Market have done such an amazing job! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The atmosphere and ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil! Love the bistro theme on the indoor side and picnic theme by the filling station burger stand. Not to mention, the burgers are the best I’ve ever had! Made with high quality grass fed beef! This is gourmet nyc restaurant style food right in our local neighborhood! Keep up the great work!“

The entrance to the cafe has a small ramp to enter, making it accessible for the handicap. Roomy enough to pull up to the table, with a wheelchair.“

“Built in 1937 and originally known as “Lookout Inn, my partner and I decided to stop at the State Line Lookout Cafe after a nice hike for a bite. This casual establishment is a throwback to yesteryear inside a nice stone cabin with fireplaces to warm up during cold weather and the only restaurant/cafe around in the nearby area.

I was greeted by the young staff. Their simple menu is a little diverse, from breakfast sandwiches, various burgers, and hot dogs to fries, but nothing too fancy.

We decided on a cheeseburger, a tuna fish salad sandwich, large fries to share, and drinks for takeout.

Service was friendly and quick. Prices are quite reasonable, and the food was hot, freshly prepared, and tasty.

Noticed some people working on their laptops. saw some families. Parking is a little tough and you have to pay metered parking via an app or coins. Once inside it is totally worth it. “Tried this new cafe on my way home. They have parking which is great since they are on a main road. The inside is super cute and def picture worthy. Service was good. Greeted upon entering and then made a great recommendation when I asked for one. I got the coconut latte and it was so good. If you like coconut this one is it for you! Sweet yet strong. Great value for the price especially in today’s economy. Will be coming back in the future to try other items. I also love that God is in their decor.“

“We had a family dinner at Rockin Roots as the kick off to an event filled weekend. We wanted something more casual and fun with an elevated twist. We worked with Mike and he came up with a perfect menu to make our picky kids and adult foodies happy. When we arrived the table was set and delicious appetizers were ready to go!! “This place is super duper clean!!!!! They clean the whole place every 50 minutes. Durning playtime you will see staff wiping down toys too. Bathrooms are clean. There are adults bathroom and kids bathroom too. There is a changing room table too to change diapers. There is hand sanitizer stations. Staff is very friendly and they try to get to know the kids. They are always happy and smiling. The eating area is clean. You can order snacks or small hot food to eat. We love the Mickey Mouse waffle on the stick. It’s super cute for the kids to eat. If we lived closer or if my kid doesn’t freak out in a car ride, we would come here everyday to play. It’s an amazing place for the kids to play. We love everything in this place.“

“This is not just a sugar bomb tea cafe. I tried the Thai hot tea no bubble things and it was pleasantly not sweet but tasty. Service is a bit of a wait but it’s pleasant. Children seem to really like the teas here. You should try it. And if you are looking for adult beverages there is a nice wine/liquor store across the street. Parking is nearby and convenient and inexpensive.“
