“Earlybird Coffee & More in Cresskill is such a great find. The barista was very friendly and welcoming. The pastries were amazing — fresh, flaky and baked on premises. Their espresso drinks are excellent, smooth and well-crafted. I also noticed how popular their matcha drinks were while I was there — almost everyone seemed to be ordering one. A true hidden gem in the suburbs that brings genuine city café vibes. ☕✨“

“Had a book club meet up with my friends and we definitely enjoyed ourselves. The music was nice but not too loud. The drinks were great, I ordered the milo latter with coffee and was delicious. I want to go back to try the coquito latte! I also had a arepa de yuca with cheese on top it was so good! The staff is awesome! Definitely coming back!“

“Love Healthy in Dyckman. It’s a gem in the Kingsbridge area where it’s possible to find good quality, healthy food. I particularly love their healthy egg wrap and chai latte. “I really like this place, and the one-star reduction is definitely not related to the business or the staff. However, at times the inside becomes quite noisy. During my recent visits, there has been a group of people talking and laughing very loudly, and children running and screaming, which makes it hard to enjoy the space.

I kindly ask the owner to consider taking some measures regarding this, as many people come here to enjoy a quiet coffee, work on their laptops, or simply relax. Unfortunately, because of the noise, I often feel the need to leave early.“

“Just checked out Nourish, a new restaurant in the South Bronx, and it exceeded expectations. The decor is beautiful, the music sets the perfect vibe, and the overall ambiance makes it a great spot to unwind or meet up with friends.

Our server, King, was incredibly attentive and made sure everything came out perfectly. We ordered cocktails, sliders, and steak — and every single dish was spot on. The food, drinks, and service all came together for a really great experience.

This eatery is a hidden gem in the mount Haven section of the BX...who knew!? Love the rustic casual ,chill vibe & the rooftop seating on a summer day is everything. The food... fresh uncomplicated, there are halal vegan& vegetarian options. The chocolate croissant and vegan carrot cake 🥰 My personal favorite is avocado toast with turkey bacon , arugula or the goddess bowl add a great cup of coffee or Chai latte it's all delish!! To the staff are friendly and helpful. We love this eatery so much we just had my friend's son's wedding there, intimate, beautiful. A must try.“

I had such an amazing experience at Santo Café! The food was absolutely delicious. The arepas were slamming — perfectly made and full of flavor — and the empanadas were so yummy I didn’t want them to end. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and made with care. “Came here by accident as my husband and I were about to goto Hmart right across the street and boy did we find a hidden gem! It’s funny because we were craving a sandwich and was about to shop for the ingredients to make at home and it was just meant to be!

We ordered a turkey cold cut sandwich and a chicken cutlet sandwich with a large coffee to share. The sandwiches were off the hook!!! The bread itself was so good and it just blew our expectations! It was so good that we had to order another breakfast sandwich to try and even that was really good. The place is very cozy and the ambience was just perfect. Prices are very reasonable for the tasty and fresh sandwiches they make. They did a great job with everything! Def highly recommend this place as I know we will be returning more often.“

“Lifelong Palisades resident, and have loved the 9W Market/The Filling Station since it opened back in 2011! A HUGE improvement over the previous ownership when it was called the Palisades Market which opened in the spring of 2010 and was only open for a few months and then closed. I was so disappointed with the Palisades Market because it lacked a decent food selection and this community needed something so much more. Luckily, the owners of the 9W Market have done such an amazing job! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The atmosphere and ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil! Love the bistro theme on the indoor side and picnic theme by the filling station burger stand. Not to mention, the burgers are the best I’ve ever had! Made with high quality grass fed beef! This is gourmet nyc restaurant style food right in our local neighborhood! Keep up the great work!“

“Buffet with a large variety of food sold on a pay by the pound basis. All the food is good, service always pleasant. Most go for take-out, the atmosphere is clean and utliitarian, not the place for a date but fine with a friend to chat over lunch.“

Outdoor seating a big plus during warmer months which this clearly wasn’t, but chairs still optimistically there :D

Cafe works hard to operate sustainably and therefore participates in an innovative local program that offers recycling of fresh flower arrangements post their short life at a special event, so not wasted. Very creative!

“Love this coffee shop/bakery in this converted old train ticket /waiting station. Their are still some announcements as trains pull in. Noticed some people working on their laptops. saw some families. Parking is a little tough and you have to pay metered parking via an app or coins. Once inside it is totally worth it. I highly recommend this place.“
