“When visiting Ocean Grove, the Victorian Grill has come to my rescue more than once, as it's hard to find good eating places in the area that are open in September when I vacation in Ocean Grove. Lisa greeted me the second I walked in and was so accommodating and patient while I selected my choices. Tom the owner, is very congenial as well. Ordered a veggie burger, Madagascar vanilla gelato, plus a turkey club to go, to keep in my hotel fridge for dinner later. All were superb! You have a choice of indoor or outdoor dining. You won't regret giving this establishment a try!“

“Now this is a way better and more AWESOME!!! ice cream truck service, safety updated with an electric swing arm stop sign like on school buses which is extremely AWESOME , safe, clear, and recognizable because octagon means STOP whereas sideways trapezoid with rounded corners on the wide end and pointed corners on the narrow end means SLOW unlike some other ice cream truck services that still have the bad old outdated red trapezoid children slow crossing warning blades that word IF-SAFE STOP THEN-GO which is confusing.“

“I have been a Lighthouse Italian Ice fan for my entire life. I believe this Lighthouse location makes the most delicious ice and ice cream. Kevin uses fresh fruit when in season to make some of his ices and ice creams. I think it's the best Lighthouse there is!“

“Can’t give 5 stars due to the subpar service and god awful ownership. Otherwise, this location is the only one worth visiting. The “lighthouse” ones are more like water ice. I highly recommend the peanut butter if they have it. Some flavors run out fast. Coconut hasn’t been on the menu in years since before they moved across the street. I can’t answer why and wouldn’t bother to ask. Amazing ice, cheap, but sadly cash only. The staff really could be better. The phone also never gets picked up to confirm hours. It’s all about luck and not confirmation they’re open.“

“So I have done fasting before, usually once a year for 3-6 days. So I'm used to going without food but this seemed to give me the same benefits and I didn't get hangry :) I combined my juice cleanse with my brand of CBD (Raw Botanics) and found that this greatly enhanced my experience. The CBD cut down on the anxiety of going without food, helped with my sleep which was an issue and I believe helped in the overall detox. I would 100% recommend Raw Generation paired with CBD. I did the cleanse by the book no food with the exception of 1 avocado on the first night. I cut out all other supplements and vitamins for the week. I did exercise but pretty lightly. Most of the weight for me came off on the first 3 days and it seemed to plateau by day 5. So next time I do this I may just do a 3 or 5 day. My total weight loss was 10 pounds and that was the goal. Once I went back to regular food 4 pounds came right back on but after a few weeks now I'm still better than before I did the cleanse. I plan to do a cleanse like this at least a few times a year. Other benefits I had was improved complexion, energy, and digestion, and my joint pain completely went away. Raw Generation is 100% worth the money.“

“I can't say enough good things about this place. First of all, the ice cream is homemade. I had a sundae made with 3 flavors of ice cream: tequila, coconut, and cheese (queso blanco). They have unique offerings (elote) and very creative concoctions (fruit with spicy chips). The owners were extremely friendly, gave us multiple samples without us even asking, and offered recommendations. The store was very clean and they were masked the whole time. The prices were reasonable and the quality was outstanding. I will happily return and probably make special trips to Bradley Beach just to visit this beautiful family-owned store again. While we waited the two minutes or so to order, I gave the merch section to the side a hard look - there are some VERY legit-looking hoodies for sale that are only about $30 or $35 and would easily retail for twice that at a different establishment. I might come back for one.On this particular day, I went with a small cup (two scoops) of the birthday cake ice cream, and I THINK something Oreo/cookie related, which unfortunately I can't definitively confirm because it's conveniently hidden on top of the birthday cake in the accompanying picture. Both were excellent. I've mentioned this many times in prior ice cream reviews, but as long as it's a decent flavor and it's not freezer burned, it's hard for me to give anything other than a full-throated endorsement of it. The servings are huge too - the small is not particularly small, and the much better-behaved Millennial Chum actually went with a kiddie cup in the end.Definitely worth a stop if you have the time and appetite.“
