“This location is a hit or miss. There's a high turnover in staff so you never know how experienced the person at the window is.Today I tried a breakfast veggie bowl and really loved it. It's spicy though and I didn't know that ahead of time so it's a good thing I like a little spice once in a while. But my order was correct and it was done promptly so I was in and out of the drive-thru in under 5 minutes so I'm happy. Today was a good day so I'm giving them 4 stars.“

He likes to make visually impaired people uncomfortable by staring at them and deliberately bothering customers while they are using the bathroom. The dude is straight up prejudice.“

“We were warmly welcomed on a snowy winter day and enjoyed our lunch. Their cappucino and lattes were delicious as well as their unique 3-berry muffin. The house specialty sandwich was tasty, but had more cheese filling than I like. Their turkey sandwich was delicious. The restaurant decor is contenporary cozy and there are lots of breakfast, brunch and lunch choices with vegetarian and vegan options. It was nice to see families and diners of all ages hanging out and enjoying the food and vibe there.“

“Of the many coffee shops in Old City, this is one of my favorites. It has some of the best matcha I've ever had and I love their flavors. Ive heard equally as good things about their coffee. Their butter crossaint is unreal good and generally theyre comparably priced to the area. They also have an awesome patio area where I sat with my furry son for a bit, really great spot overall.“

“Yet another hidden gem in Philly. I came in for the first time today by chance and immediately felt so so so welcomed into the space. It is much smaller of a space than Madis Coffee Roasters (Twisted Grounds has only a few small tables to sit), but the staff is equally as kind, friendly, talkative, and enjoyable to be around. You can quickly tell that the team here has a great rapport with each other, and it makes the atmosphere comfortable and fun to be in. They have super cute merch and engaging conversations. I'm excited for this to be one of my regular haunts in Philly. The manager runs this place like a well-oiled machine.“

It’s a small space with minimal seating so keep that in mind if you intend to hang out. Great location if you’re visiting Center City. Very walkable. There’s some street parking around.

The service is great. I really enjoyed chatting with the barista learning about the business and ways they intend to continue growing as a brand. I appreciate that they locally roast their beans and that they experiment with new flavors to create drink specials they offer.

“Great experience. Modern design, well lit, ample parking, great food and coffee, very reasonable prices. Service by Besi (I think that’s how you spell his name) was phenomenal. Just very personable staff members who take the time to get to know their customers, but also leave them to do their work. “I’ve walked by this spot so many times, and it seemed every time I was hungry they were closed (closed on weekends) but today I finally stepped in. I ordered 2 bánh mìs and a Vietnamese coffee. Pete, the owner/operator of the spot was the only one there and we instantly jumped into great conversation about the music scene in Philly back in the late 90s. We ended up knowing a lot of the same people. Philly is a tight knit group. So even before eating the food I was already a fan of this spot. Pete served me his special take on Vietnamese coffee while we talked and he made the sandwiches. The iced coffee was excellent, but different and less sweet than Vietnamese coffee I’ve had in the past. He also used ice cubes made of coffee which was an added bonus for a coffee junkie like myself. After we talked for nearly 20 min, I walked home with my sandwich and WOW! Such a solid bánh mì! I told him to make it like he would make it for himself (spicy) and he knocked it out of the park. I’ll be back and I’ll be bringing all my music friends here when they are in the neighborhood. I highly encourage Olde City residents as well as Philly locals to give this place a try!“

They had so many different latte flavors (my favorite was the coconut mocha) that were the perfect amount of sweetness. “This is hands down the best coffee shop in NoLibs. We discovered it over a year ago and have been going at least once a week ever since. I rarely get matcha out because so few places actually use good quality matcha and make it properly, but CNT does all of the above. They have monthly rotating flavor specials for coffee and matcha that are always incredible and made from scratch. The shop is also super dog friendly and our pup literally drags us down the street to go there anytime we are nearby.“

“Tiny cafe with two very hard working staff. It was a bit of a wait for my coffee and avocado toast but well worth it. The avocado toast was truly beautiful with the caprese garnishes but would have crossed the line into exceptional with some finishing salt. Dining in is limited to a narrow bar and two small outdoor tables but it is a short walk to Rittenhouse square.“

“A genuinely great coffee experience. I visited this establishment multiple times over the course of several months. I love lattes and checking out new places. If I have a good experience, I'll frequent the establishment more. That said, Vessel Coffee delivers quality cafe food and tricks, as well as quality service.

The atmosphere is very calm (tall, large windows and spacious seating), inside is mostly clean (though there were times tables still needed to be wiped down after previous use), and the staff is warm, welcoming and polite. They're not in a rush nor do they look like they hate their jobs (that said, patrons, remember to be patient and respectful as well). The actual drinks are well made. They have gluten free options for the sensitive although these aren't house-made. I loved the GF lemon blueberry scones.

Definitely check out this hidden gem if you want to enjoy a cup of coffee with great staff and a good environment. Though I no longer live in Philly, this will definitely be a place I'd recommend to anyone that wants coffee and a hospitable experience.
